  1. Every once in a blue moon, I’ll think of the MSN middle east abrahamic forum. You’ve certainly come a long way lol. Congrats on your success!!!

  2. Hey Joel!

I have a question about the your start time on July 25 @ this conference for those of us who are going to try and listen via livestream. The link says you start at 10 a.m., but is that Pacific Time in Tacoma or is that another time zone?

Tacoma is two hour later than Central Time which is where I live and so it would be Noon here for me to hear lifestream. Is there a way you can verify with Mark Blitz of ESM?

    Blessings!

  3. I would love to attend!!! But maybe another time. All three of you are amazing and so very gifted and special in your own way. It’s like everyone (all of us) has a piece to God’s divine plan. And HE placed it there, in each one of us, on purpose. Joel…I had seen you a few times on Jonathan Bernis TV program a few years back. But for me, it was Jim Bakker (love him) who elevated all three of you onto the world stage. I’m praying for all of you in this critical day and hour….

May HIS WORD be in your mouth as HE has called you to speak to the Nations…

    Love to all…

  4. Hi Joel,

I was wondering if you agree with what Jonathan Cahn and Mark Blitz teach?

    Robert

  5. Robert,

I have not listened to everything anyone teaches. Second, I do not think there is anyone I could categorically say I agree with everything they teach. We Christians, particularly evangelicals, are an opinionated bunch. I will say that of what I have heard, I have not found anything of substance I disagree with. I do know that having gotten to know both Mark and Jonathan a bit, I have found them both to be very humble, sincere, and solid brothers.

  6. I read a comment about Livestream. Can you please let us know the direct link, address to Livestream?
What times for the East Coast.
What is the Name that I type in Livestream? I am new to all of this.
    Thank you,
    Penny

  7. Penny,

First, you purchase the Roku unit and connect it to your tv. Then you add the PTL Television Network to your channels (for free) which is found under the religious category. You can then watch it live any time, (live-stream) or on demand, (anytime you want). Its really a great product with tons of great programming and options.

  8. Joel,

You don’t need to post this if you don’t want to. I assume that you know the primary beliefs on what Mark Blitz and Jonathan Cahn teach. The “Blood Moon” theory is completely non-scriptural. The only place in scripture that this occurs is at the end of the Tribulation according to Joel 2:31, Acts 2:20, Revelation 6:12. There is no reference to any significance of “Blood Moon’s” falling on Jewish feast days in the Bible. There are also discrepancies in Mark’s dates as far as linking these.

Jonathan teaches that the US is tied to promises and judgments that were given only to Israel. I know that you rightly believe that the Bible is Israel centric.

Do you not speak out against their false teaching because you want to have a platform to speak from? I am not faulting you for this if that is your motivation.

    Blessings, Robert

  9. Robert,

I have heard some of the criticisms such as what you have just relayed here toward both Biltz and Cahn. But I do not think they are fair.

If you read Biltz’s book on the blood moons, you will see that he never equates these lunar eclipses with the blood moons of Scripture. You have misrepresented what Biltz teaches. I found Biltz’s articulation of these things to be quite qualified, cautious, and non-sensational. Though some of those who tout his message may take it much further than he does, many have done the same thing with my teachings as well. Perhaps your criticisms of Biltz are based on what you have heard others say concerning his actual teachings on this matter? I would encourage you to actually read his book.

Regarding Cahn, again, you are overstating what he actually teaches. Cahn speaks of a nation being accountable to God, and you are claiming he teaches that we are equal to ancient Israel. He does not teach this. I have read his response to critics who attempt to place this on him, and he does no such thing. What he does is draw from the lessons of Scripture and ancient Israel, and suggests that perhaps we as a nation have indeed made various covenants with God are entering into a period of chastisement. I agree with this. We may indeed be. Maybe not. (I for one continue to pray for this nation.)

As I said, I may not agree with every nuance of what they (or anyone) teach on every issue. And I am always willing to consider a careful, balanced, accurate, non-sensationalised criticism of any teaching, but what you have articulated here is not that.

That said, based on my experience, I am happy to stand with both of these brothers (though we will not likely see each other as we are all speaking different days) as I have found them to be men of solid character who also have solid evangelical theology.

    Blessings,
    Joel

  10. Joel,

Thank you for your humble positive responses, as usual. Let us all remember to humble ourselves before each other and avoid using our voice to speak against a brother or sister and instead speak in praises towards the Lord Jesus Christ which is much more profitable towards the kingdom.

I am never edified by an “Hey, Paul what do you think of Peter?” conversation. I am however always edified by the praising of our Lord Jesus Christ by humble men and women of God.

I say, instead of asking Paul what he thinks of Peter, ask Christ what he thinks of Peter, since it is Christ to whom Peter belongs, and not to Paul. And if we don’t like the Lords choice of men and women, well I guess we should just take it up with the Lord instead of trying to get other brothers and sisters to speak evil of one another.

After all, even Michael didn’t bring railing accusations against Satan, but recognized whom satan belonged to and said…THE LORD rebuke you. If Blitz or Cahn are in error, the Lord will correct them in due time. And if they indeed are men after Gods own heart and we speak evil of them, have we no fear of the Lord?

It is astounding to me the lack of fear of the Lord men and women have when they begin speaking against another, and then try to get someone who they (so far) do approve of to agree with them, and accuse them also.

I am glad you straightened the record out according to those two brothers, Joel. Regardless, the truth will be manifested in due time to all, whether the work is in error or in righteousness.

  11. Hi Joel,

I am a great fan of yours, looking forward to seeing you speak in Tacoma WA. I love your teaching so much that I am travelling with my wife(had to convince her big time!)from Fresno CA to WA just to hear you speak on the 25th.

Will there be an opportunity to get books signed by you?.

Regards and God Bless you immensely.

    Bobby

  12. Hi Bobby,

Because I will be speaking on Saturday, and it is a Messianic congregation, they do not sell books on the Sabbath. So I will not be signing books per se. But if you drive up, just e-mail me and I will have your info and I will make sure to be able to say hi and sign anything you have. : )

    Bless ya

  13. Dear Joel,

Thank you ever so much for your reply. Michelle and myself are already signed up- confirmed for Saturday. I have your books in my library and will bring them with me; I remain very conscious of your time so even a chance to say a quick hi & even one gets signed that will be great.

[email protected] is that the one I email you on?

    Thanks and Bless you.

    Bobby

    Bobby.

  14. Dear Brother Joel,

Your Prophecy Summit is called “Northwest”…does this imply that there will also be other regions of the country where you will hold such summit conferences? Let me make a suggestion…”Prophecy Summit Midwest” perhaps somewhere, like say St.Louis or Chicago? Selfish I know, but closer to home for me and not out of reach like the Northwest one. Regardless, will pray for you as I and my wife have been impacted greatly by your ministry.

  15. Thanks Greg.

It would be great. Just need a church to sponsor it! Keep an eye on my schedule, as I am not in Saint Louis anytime soon, but Tennessee and a few other Midwest states over the next several months.

    Blessings,
    Joel

  16. Hi Joel,

Don’t forget us. We would love to have you Remember Indiana?

    Blessings!

  17. Joel, I consider you a great man, in the same category as Franklin Graham, David Jeremiah and a few others who are true men of faith. Of course Billy Graham is in a league of his own.

Thank you for all you do for the Church of Jesus Christ

    The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
    And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
    And give you peace

  18. Joel,

I just finished reading Mid East Beast and found it to be very informative. Can you tell me when you understand the final judgement to take place in biblical eschatology? Thanks for your input.

  19. Joel,

Which day in October (18-20) will you be speaking in Chattanooga, Tn? Also will you be available for any private conversation during that time? I will making arrangements to come to that gathering. Also does it cost anything to attend?

    In Christ,

    Cathy

  20. Cathy,

I am presently out of the country. I am not entirely sure which days I’ll be speaking, but I think a few different days. Could you contact me as it gets closer and I will have a better idea.

    Blessings!

  21. just watched your message on the el shaddai live stream. Sensational! We attend online every Shabbat from Chicago because there are so few places to get equipped now for the coming kingdom of God. Great to hear you are on board. We will follow your messages moving forward as well. To the KIng and His Kingdom!!!!

Hey! You realize that Christians and Jews are all tripping over the same stumbling block right? Yeshua the true messiah – salvation for all mankind. Jews reject the cornerstone. But the Christians reject the Torah, the unchanging (not done away) Word of God. Same cornerstone.

The new covanent is not new! It’s was made with Israel. How could we ever trust a God that just decides to abandon His chosen people the Jews? Why wouldn’t he just abandon Christians if he was all about that?

I’m on board for coming together for the sake of the world. Jews. Christians. Muslims. All. In the words of Mufasa, “it is time”. 😉

On to spreading the great news!!!

  22. I’m in Texas. Is this being streamed anywhere or recorded so we can watch asap?

  23. Hey Joel and greetings from Perth ‘down under’. Just wondering whether messages from you, Mark and Jonathan at this summit will be accessible online to stream for those overseas? Blessings!

  24. Dr. Robert Young,

I have received your repeated efforts to post your criticisms of Pastor Biltz and Jonathan Cahn. As I have already said, I simply disagree with your criticisms. I do not allow others to use this site as a forum to express their criticisms of other ministries. Particularly if I am in disagreement with them. I trust you understand.

    Blessings,
    Joel

  25. Thank you for speaking at the conference on July 25 in Tacoma. When I was a dry Christian whose dependency on God had waned, greatly distracted by the “cares of this world”, I read the book you co-wrote with Walid Shoebat, God’s War on Terror. While it’s certainly broadened my understanding of middle east history and Islam, seeing that biblical prophecies were coming to pass in my lifetime, greatly deepened my faith. I no longer have to fight doubt in His word. Not wavering is incredibly liberating. At the conference, it was great to hear you say the purpose for studying end-time prophecy is to increase our faith in Him, because that’s what I get out of it. Faith, not fear. I look forward to reading/watching more of your teachings. Thank you for invigorating my faith. God is real. Live for Him and love people into His arms. All people.

  26. hello joel. i watched the video where you talked about daniel 8 and i think it is about the last days too. i think daniel 11(even verses before 11:21) might be about the last days too because the angel in chapter 10 said it was for the last days as well. i read these 2 articles and they have some good points. rightwordtruth.com/have-any-of-the-prophecies-of-daniel-eleven-been-fulfilled/ elijahreturns.weebly.com/elijah-returns-end-times-and-bible-study-blog/legs-of-iron-in-daniels-dream-not-rome what are your thoughts? thanks and god bless!

  27. Hi Joel,
I was able to attend this session at El Shaddai, my family thoroughly enjoyed your teaching. Thank you for coming to Tacoma! Joel, I do have a broad question for you related to the Islamic perspective. I have been on board with this theory for some time being pretty convinced via your books but recently I happened across another author I’ve come to respect who has a very different theory. Have you read Chris White’s book false Christ? This book argues that it will be the long awaiting Jewish Messiah who will take center stage in the last days. At first I was highly skeptical but the more I’ve read and especially what the early church fathers say in agreement makes it very compelling. So now, I’m frustrated and sandwiched in the middle of both of these very compelling views and to be honest feeling exasperated about which direction to take. Is there a debate out there you’ve done against that position that I can read / listen to? I am curious how you would argue his points. Have you read the aforementioned book? I’m not trying to bring your position under fire really, I’m just a layman humbly trying to make sense to two very different and compelling arguments. Any insight would be much appreciated. Thank you for all you do Joel. Love your ministry.

  28. Hi Micah,

Thanks for your comments. Yes, I have read all of Chris’ books, including his Islamic Antichrist Debunked, a book dedicated almost entirely to debunking my work on these issues. I generally don’t respond to various criticisms such as this. I think most folks have enough discernment to sort these things out themselves for the most part. But moreso because if I did respond to every such criticism, it would simply consume too much valuable time. After reading through Chris’ book, I honestly didn’t think his book was worth any substantial response. I really hope this does not sound arrogant. But I found his exegesis and overall arguments to be quite amateurish. I don’t know how else to say it.

Now don’t get me wrong, Chris is very articulate and he does make some valid points here and there. But overall his individual arguments and his overall case simply fall flat on too many fronts. Polemically speaking, he rarely makes a complete argument. Instead, he makes partial arguments, just enough to undermine bits of things I’ve written. This might be somewhat effective if one is not familiar with the broader underlying arguments. He also makes several factual and technical errors, and even flat out misrepresents my views in some cases.

Of course, I am far from immune to making errors myself. But after having assessed his overall case, in my opinion, the case for an Islamic Antichrist remains to be by far, the most feasible and Scripturally solid position.

Concerning the beliefs of the early Christians writers, many did indeed believe the Antichrist would be a Jew, or partially Jewish. This is true. The problem with Chris using this as support for his Jewish Antichrist theory is that if there is one issue common among the early church writers that responsible, informed believers should categorically reject, it is their truly disgusting anti-Semitism and replacement theology. Personally, I am very sad to see a modern author resurrecting a position that has demonstrably resulted in profound persecution against Jewish people down through history.

But Chris’ greatest problems pertain to his handling of Scripture. In his very first chapter on Daniel 2, he argues that this prophecy points to a “kingdom now” perspective. His exegesis is deeply flawed here. After reading just this chapter, I was left speechless. White concludes this chapter by citing several verses that are commonly used (and misinterpreted) by those who espouse a kingdom now (realized eschatology) perspective. For a solid breakdown of how White and others misinterpret these passages, see this excellent appendix from my good friend John Harrigan’s book:

    http://gospelofchristcrucified.com/project/appendix-analysis-passages-associated-with-realized-eschatology/

Chris’ interpretation of Ezekiel 38-39 (seeking to argue for a post-millennial interpretation, ie., that Ezekiel’s battle falls at the end of the millennium) falls completely flat. Simply stated, if Ezekiel 38-39 occurs at the end of the millennium, as Chris argues, then Jesus is a truly impotent Messiah. Chapter 39:17-39 makes it very clear that Israel and the nations do not come to a saving knowledge of God until after Gog’s armies are destroyed. God does not pour out His spirit on Israel until after they Gog and his hordes are destroyed. The exiles of Israel do not come back to the promised land until after Gog and his hordes are destroyed and fed to the birds. If Chris’ position is correct, then Jesus is here on the earth for 1000 years before the exiles of Israel return to the land and come to know God. Its simply untenable. The implications of Ezekiel 38-39 are quite clear: The Antichrist is a leader from the region of Asia Minor or modern day Turkey. Obviously, this contradicts White’s Jewish Antichrist view, and thus he seeks to cast it as something that happens at the end of the 1000 years. Again, it just doesn’t work.

Another huge problem is Chris’ interpretation of Daniel 8 and 11. These chapters show the the Antichrist is foreshadowed in the career of Antiochus Epiphanies, a gentile ruler. See my article on Daniel 11 here:

    https://joelstrumpet.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Daniel-11-Abomination.pdf

The only view that makes sense of Daniel 11 is the two-king theory. The three-king theory, popular among the Euro-centric camp, but which Chris has adopted to bolster his case, truly destroys the flow of the whole chapter.

    https://joelstrumpet.com/?p=4645

Chris’ efforts to diminish the fact that the premiere types of the Antichrist throughout Scripture are all Gentile rulers is simply grasping at straws at best. Antiochus Epiphanies is the most looming historical figure the Scriptures use to foreshadow the Antichrist.

White teaches that the Islamic Antichrist theory is dangerous, actually being some form of a big Satanic set-up, created by the devil (through me, I must assume) to mislead Christians to follow a false Jewish Messiah. I just find this so far out there that I cannot take it seriously. In my opinion, this is just goofy.

I also cannot take Chris seriously wheres he feigns respect in the opening pages of his book stating how much he claims to have deep respect for me and my work, while using the word “Debunking,” across the cover of his book, repeatedly using the word “dishonest” to describe my work, and then inferring that Satan is using me to mislead everyone to follow the Antichrist. That in itself is just being passive aggressive and dishonest. I far prefer someone who attacks me and my work directly in a more honest manner.

I have corresponded with Chris, and have sent him information to help him with research on one of his previous books. Yet in writing an entire book, almost entirely dedicated to me and my work, he never once contacted me, reached out to me, or ran anything by me. I’m a very approachable guy. But there was no effort on his part whatsoever. When someone treats a fellow brother in Christ this way, I personally lose respect.

Much more could be said. As always, forgive my brevity. I hope this has somewhat helped. In the end, nothing I say or Chris says really matters. Our opinions will not change the way the last days actually transpire. I am absolutely sure some of my speculations and interpretations will simply be wrong. No one will get it all right. But as we seek to be responsible with our interpretations, first and foremost, we should seek to do so with humility and with love. I hope this has helped.

    Blessings!
    Joel

  29. Thanks for taking the time to respond, Joel. I will be processing this. It means a lot to me! Blessings.

  30. Hi Micah,

I wrote this under another thread concerning Ezekiel 38-39:

Ezekiel is very clear that it is not until after Gog and his hordes are destroyed that the following things take place:

  31. The house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God from that day onward. (Ez. 39:22)
  32. The Lord restores the fortunes of Jacob and has mercy on the whole house of Israel. (Ez 39:25)
  33. Israel repents of their treachery which they perpetrated against the Lord while they lived in the land. (Ez. 39:26)
  34. The Lord brings the Jewish exiles back from the lands of their enemies. (Ez. 39:27)
  35. The Lord is sanctified in the sight of the many gentile nations. (Ez. 39:27)
  36. Israel will come to know that I am the LORD their God. (Ez 39:28)
  37. The Lord will not hide His face from Israel any longer. (Ez. 39:29)
  38. The Lord will pour out His Spirit on the house of Israel. (Ez. 39:29)
  39. Again, all of these things happen specifically because of the judgment and destruction of Gog and his armies. Anyone who seeks to move these events to the end of the 1000 reign of Christ must cast Jesus as the most ineffective and impotent Messiah. They must ignore the wealth of prophecies that make it clear that these things all happen when Jesus returns, not 1000 years later. It’s very simple. Efforts to equate Ezekiel’s Gog (Antichrist) with the brief reference to Satan’s final Gog at the end of Rev must do great violence to the Scriptures to argue their case.

    Blessings,
    Joel
