  1. Hi Joel!

Read your book, wow!I didn’t want it to end, just wanting to keep on reading. Three years ago I knew it was Islam, But you gave us an eye-opening on the harlot. She fits perfect to Bible Prophecy. May God’s Kingdom Come! Thank you for a well written and excellent book. God Bless!

  2. Man Joel,

I lead a eschatological small group. Rev 12:14 was our key verse this week. We are going through Revelation verse by verse.

I’ve never heard you talk about this verse before. It’s refreshing to hear we have the same perspective because we are simply weighing scripture to scripture. I love pointing people in the direction of Genesis 37 in reference to the women. Blows their mind every time. Still blows my mind, the Bible is straight up amazing. Thanks for all you do brother.

    -Ray

  3. Joel,
Thank you for your continued counsel & discernment. I’ve been following your blog and books for over two years now. I found you as a result of an internet search I did when my curiosity was peaked over the discussion of blood moons. I am hopeful that others might land on your site as a result of this new discussion taking place.

You mentioned that Rosh HaShanah is not one of the Biblical feasts, could you go into more detail on that? Isn’t that the Feast of Trumpets referenced in Lev. 23:23-25?

Thanks again for all your ministry efforts, teachings, publications, recommended reading list, introductions to missionaries & authors!

  4. Rosh Hashanah is not a biblical feast, but Yom Teru’ah or the Feast of Trumpets is a biblical moed. It follows immediately upon Rosh Hashanah. I erred somewhat in emphasizing this.

  5. At 15:04 you say the ‘sun’ is positioned under her feet. No disrespect, just trying to help.

  6. Very good and wise words Joel. I’m sick of some Christian’s hyper approach to ‘end-time’ theories. No more sacred bible codes, calendars, stars etc. Just follow God’s holy words and his counter-cultural kingdom, the rest will sort itself out.

  7. Thanks Joel. I myself have written about this very thing and urged caution at setting dates based on signs. It’s obviously an interesting subject, but there are a LOT of things that have to happen before the final 7 years take place. I am going to add your video to my article on this. Very informative as always.

  8. Dear Joel,

Thank you so much for you ministry and for what you do! God bless!

You say in the video that Rosh HaShanah is not a biblical feast and that it is not part of the “biblical moedim”. Further, you state that it is not a biblical new-year at all. Although the holiday is not mentioned by that name, or called a “New-Years-feast”, it is mentioned in the bibel as a feast. Its origin is a divine command:

“In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.” (Leviticus 23:24-25).

    and:

“On the first day of the seventh month hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. It is a day for you to sound the trumpets.” (Number 29:1).

So it is a biblical feast. It might originally be known by another name, “Yom T’ruah” (Day of Sounding the Shofar Numb 29:1), but it is certainly divinely prescribed, and a convocation connected to the blowing of the shofar (which takes on eschatological motives already within the bible). Through Babylonian influence, it takes on the names Yom HaZikaron (Day of Remembrance) and Yom HaDin (Day of Judgment). When the Jewish tradition began to be codified in the Mishna, Rosh Hashanah is mentioned together with three other new years: 1 Tishri, 15 Shevat, 1 Nisan, and 1 Elul. Already then it was connected to the new year theme.

While you are right that it is not a biblical new year, it is certainly a biblical convocation/sabbath; and that is an important point in so far as the day being connected with the jewish calendar.

    Many blessings!

  9. Thanks for defending the Bible and keeping errant teachings from running amok.

One thing I would like to ask you though.

I have an idea that the male child , which the woman with the crown of stars gives birth to, is symbolic of the 144,000 male virgins which were martyred and are the first fruits of the resurrection.
    Isaiah 26:18-19

I think the accuser apposes their resurrection, yet because of their martyrs deaths , they overcome and are granted to rule with an iron rod along side Lord Jesus.

Satan’s ejection from access to the throne clears away opposition also to the series of resurrections which follow.

The Lord Jesus is always emphatic that his followers share in his reign. Revelation 2:26-27

Do you see anything wrong with my theory?

I use Revelation 4:1 as my main support against the common idea that the man child is Jesus jn his mortal body, because Jesus’ birth and earthly life all took place before the voice from heaven spoke to John.
The voice didn’t say ” Come up here and I will show you things that have already happened.”

  10. Hi Joel,
A couple of things. First, who are the scholars that say that the Virgo cluster is the crown of stars? I’ve never heard that before and would like to read more on that. I can’t tell how many, if any at all, of the galaxies in the Virgo cluster are visible un-aided so I’d like to study this further. I doubt that having a telescope would be a requirement for a person to see one of God’s signs in the heavens.

Second, I don’t see the connection between Joseph’s dream and Revelation 12. I think saying that both include the sun, moon, and stars is thin evidence on its own. Is there more in-depth analysis of this I can read? After all, what else is there to use as a celestial sign?

Love the videos, they keep us thinking.

    Dave

  11. Hi Joel,

I have been watching your videos for a year or two and enjoy them very much.

Have you ever watched the ” Star of Bethlehem” video (http://www.bethlehemstar.com)? I saw it a few years ago and for some reason remember the presenter making a case that the woman and the 12 stars configuration happened around the time of the birth of Jesus. He uses a software which apparently is available on http://www.space.com to go back in history and see the exact positions of the stars.

On a similar note I just went on http://www.space.com and noticed that there is going to be a total eclipse passing thru the US in August this year and that the last time it happened it was in 1776! I thought it was interesting.

Thank you for all you do for the Church,

    Stephane

  12. Joel,
Hi. I was wondering what you think about Iran and the Trump Administration so far? I want to abandon my thoughts on Iran and the Goat. However, the more news that comes out, the more it seems to be. At the risk of sounding dogmatic (a thing I’m generally and genuinely opposed to), I would appreciate your incite; specifically in light of current news.

    Thank you.
    Natasha Davis

  13. Hello Joel,

Have you ever heard of Bethlehemstar.com? If so what are your thoughts? I watched it for the first time to tonight and it blew my mind. It raises a lot of questions, but seems pretty solid.

    Thanks,

  14. Interesting enough this week I came across a video talked about about the September 2017 alignment and about the one during 4to3BC that is led to believed to be Star of Bethlehem. The minister said that the September 23rd alignment wasn’t identical in position but significant enough of Jupiter’s alignment made him to believe that it could be sign of something else more related to something the AC might do because of its imitation.

  15. Hello Joel,
I really enjoyed this video, I enjoyed the start of the video and your sense of humour as to the rapture in 1988.
Sadly today many believers do not have a Biblical understanding of what the rapture is and especially what events must happen before the Rapture. I was only just talking to a believer yesterday about this very topic. Many were caught up in the Blood Moons and how the rapture was to take place last year and now it starts all over again. Believers must stop having their ears tickled and must get into the Word of God for Truth.
I have had some very positive feedback from many believers and Pastors on a Study that I did from scripture on the rapture. Once a believer has a true Biblical understanding on the rapture then they will not get caught up in all the hype.
My Study is available free for all to study for themselves and so that they may know the Truth. It can be downloaded in word document.
Here is a link for those that are willing to search.
    http://jesusiscomingsoon.club/index.php/category/what-is-the-rapture/
It is called “What is the Rapture, do you have a clear and Biblical understanding”
Thank you once again Joel for a balanced Video that will help many, not get led astray.

  16. Thank you Joel for your wonderful teachings. I am happy you cleared up somewhat your statement on Feast of Trumpets. I think it an extremely important Feast day and like you say is in the Bible by a different name. I wish you would clear that up a bit more because many Christians see a fulfillment at that time at a later date.

  17. Hi Alice,

Yeah, I really should have been more clear on that. I actually do believe the rapture will likely happen on Trumpets / Yom Teru’ah as well, just not a pre-trib rapture. My primary caution in this video of course is on how much attention and energy folks seem to give to every “sign” that comes along.

  18. A month prior to this sign will be a total solar eclipse that will traverse across the USA. Gavin Finley has a very good article on Yom Teurah and the solar eclipse. (see http://endtimepilgrim.org/). 7 years later another solar eclipse will traverse again across the USA. His hypothesis is that the three solar signs may be a Harbinger.

  19. Joel I am reading your book, but I have only reached the chapter on Nimrod so far. Maybe you answer this later in the book, but this verse has always confused me:“But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle, so that she could fly to her place in the desert, where she is taken care of for a season and two seasons and half a season, away from the serpent’s presence.”
    ‭‭Revelation of Yeshua to Yochanan (Rev)‬ ‭12:14‬ ‭CJB‬‬
Most verses regarding Israels last days express her captivity and hardship, but this verse sounds like someone helps the people or protects them during tribulation. Am I getting this wrong? Two wings…taken care of…away from the antichrist. I haven’t heard anyone talk about this verse. Is one group taken away and another protected?
    Great book so far!
    Thanks,
    Tamaira

  20. Apparently many will flee the land and find safety in the desert. Some speculate this will be in Jordan. Hard to know for sure.

    Blessings!
    Joel

  21. Hello Joel,
I am enjoying your new e-book that much that I have now ordered your hardcover book so that I can take to work. To me Mecca is a brilliant example of Babylon the Whore but may I ask a question?
Mecca at present is a place that no Non Muslim can enter. Mecca already exists as a place under Sharia Rule and she executes Sharia Law on its people. If it is the Great City Babylon and her fall takes place later when she rides on the Beast. What is her fornication if she is already under Sharia Law? I am trying to figure out Revelations 18 where God says come out of her my people so that you do not partake in her sins and receive her plagues.
If Mecca is only a place that allows Muslims and does not allow Christians or Jews, who are Gods people that are living in her? And if she already exists under Sharia Law with other countries what is the significant change that takes place when the Beast arises in power for 3 and 1/2 years.
I like your presentation on Jedda,Jedda is a very large Port, is Jedda under full sharia law and can non muslims enter into Jedda freely.
    Awaiting your response
    Thanks David

  22. Hi David,

Her fornication is simply idolatry. Mind you, it is not adultery. It is simply sexual immorality. This is any kind of false worship. It does not require any form of former covenant faithfulness.

My interpretation is not that Mecca is the complete fulfillment in a strict sense, but in a slightly more broad sense it includes the whole forthcoming mega-city of Jedda/Mecca/King Abdullah Economic City, and in an even more broad sense the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and finally, in the broadest sense, Islam as a religious system. Thus, it would refer to any believer in Islam in general, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia specifically, in the emerging mega-city, or in the actual city of Mecca proper. It should ne noted that there is presently an increasingly vibrant underground church in the kingdom, including in Mecca.

    Blessings,
    Joel

  23. Brother Joel,

Love that you are fearless in tacking new and controversial subjects. The fact that there is an actual constellation that coresponds to the crown in Rev 12 is comforting and confirms God’s Word even more. However it doesnt totally discount the fact that the sign on 09/23/17 may have some significance on God’s prophetic calendar. The ever present crown of 12 stars simply makes the sign less rare, but it still is a fairly rare sign for the moon to be under the feet of Virgo at the same time that a planet is with in the constellation, and rarer still that it stay with in the sign for a full 9 months, and exit between the legs of the constellation, like a birth. Here is a document i found a link to on youtube that charts the rarity of all of these signs coming together at once. http://j.mp/Rev12-Analysis I am not pretrib and do not believe this is the rapture. I also believe that like you caution “prophecy teachers” need to be more responsible and less dogmatic in their conjectures. We need to be humble and careful about what we put out there for public consumption, and always reserve the right to be wrong about what is not clearly stated in scripture. With that said perhaps Yom Terruah 5777 is the start of Jacob’s Troubles. Time will tell… I love how you, James Jacob Prasch, John Haller and Bill Randles go after error. It is needed. I also like how you arent stymied by tradtion that isnt scriptural. Thank. Keep doing what you do. I appreciate you even when I dont completely agree.

  24. Hi Tracy,

I need to reiterate, my point here is not to go after error, or most certainly not anyone who espouses these things, but I am simply encouraging a cautious, responsible, critical, and sober approach. Personally, the more I examine this alleged end time sign, the more I feel convinced that this just another distraction rooted in bad hermeneutics. I wish I could be more positive.

    Blessings,
    Joel

  25. Hi Joel,
I’ve been researching this idea that the twelve stars of Virgo are somehow the Virgo cluster. The Virgo cluster is actually a group of galaxies. As far as I can tell, to be visible in a dark sky (far from city lights, etc.) an object has to have an apparent magnitude of 8 or less. That would be the minimum visibility in the best possible conditions. The objects in the Virgo cluster are all above that apparent magnitude, so they would not be visible without a telescope. Again, could you point me to the source(s) which discuss this regarding the Virgo cluster? Also, could we go into greater detail regarding the connection between Joseph’s dream of the sun, moon, and stars and its connection with Revelation 12?

  26. Hi Dave,

As I said, there are multiple galaxies in the Virgo Star cluster. According to Tim Warner, in his book The Mystery of the Mazzaroth, the virgo cluster is what is understood as the twelve. Of course, even if Tim is mistaken, there are other far better, much more logical options than Leo.

According to the astronomer Thorley, there are exactly twelve stars surrounding the head of Virgo as we view them from the earth. Apparently, Norton’s Star Atlas shows twelve visible stars can be seen around Virgo’s head.

They are, according to astronomical terminology: (1) Pi, (2) Nu, (3) Beta, (4) Sigma, (5) Chi, (6) Iota – these six stars form the southern hemisphere around the head of Virgo. Then there are (7) Theta, (8) Star 60, (9) Delta, (10) Star 93, (11) Beta, (12) Omicron – these last six form the northern hemisphere around the head of Virgo.

Another source says there are exactly twelve globular clusters around her head that is famously known as Coma Bernices, which make up the crown of twelve stars:

    https://goo.gl/aPtoZJ

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coma_Berenices

According to Wikipedia, “Coma Berenices is not particularly bright, as none of its stars are brighter than fourth magnitude, but on clear, moonless nights up to fifty stars are visible to the naked eye.”

Virgo is usually defined by between 9 and 15 stars, but it actually has dozens of stars that are within range and visible.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_stars_in_Virgo

Now, please think through this. Would it be more reasonable to you that the twelve stars of Virgo’s crown are already there, or that the stars of Leo combined with some other planets are the stars of Virgo’s crown? Such a notion makes no sense. Leo is a distinct constellation. Are we to believe that Leo somehow stops being Leo so as to temporarily become a crown this year? Or is Virgo wearing a Lion on her head? Apart from those who are claiming this is some unique and super rare sign, can you find one astro-theologian or other such source who counts Leo as part of the crown of twelve stars?

I highly encourage you to watch the video linked above by Donnie of Michael Heiser as he discusses this 1st century event, how it would have been understood by the Jews of that time, and how it has already been fulfilled.

  27. “It should ne noted that there is presently an increasingly vibrant underground church in the kingdom, including in Mecca.”

Wow, I did not know that. Praise God!

  28. Hey Joel,

Re. your comment above on the mega-city of Jedda/Mecca/King Abdullah Economic City.

I had no idea of the scope and influence of this mega project. This is mind boggling. A few excellent resources people may want to check out regarding the vision Saudi Arabia has for King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC).

I wish I could embed the following video here:

And a couple of other interesting links:

  29. HI Ted,

Yes, it easy to watch videos on these things forever. Some amazing things brewing on the Red Sea for sure.

  30. Hi Joel,
I think you are misunderstanding the line of my questioning. I’ve never said that I believe that Leo is part of the crown of 12 stars. If God has stated that he is going to put a “great sign” in heaven, I believe that it will be a genuine astronomical phenomenon because God has said it is so. I also believe it will be un-mistakable to those who are looking for it. The Bethlehem star was not noticed in Israel when it occurred, but was noticed by astronomers to the east who were looking for it. So while the Rev. 12 sign may include the ordinary appearance of Virgo, but it must have all of the elements that God has described. I don’t believe that Revelation 12 is some sort of allegorical description alluding to Israel. Jesus said (Rev. 4:1) that the things John subsequently describes, including the great sign of Rev. 12, are yet to occur.

I’m not sure whether the 12 stars are part of the ordinary appearance we see in Virgo, or a unique display yet to occur. As you stated, there are dozens of stars in Virgo, and Coma Berenices has up to 50 stars that are visible on a moonless night, so why is it described as a crown of 12 stars rather than dozens or even 50? Is anyone aware of 12 in particular that have been identified as the crown? The link you cited (https://goo.gl/aPtoZJ) says that globular clusters form a crown of 12 stars above her head. However, as I stated earlier, none of the galaxies above the head of Virgo are visible with the naked eye which disqualifies them in my opinion. If on the other hand the phrase “a woman with a crown of 12 stars” is taken as a whole , it is merely descriptive of the normal appearance of Virgo. What then is there about this that qualifies as a unique “great sign”? I personally lean toward the idea that even the crown of 12 stars will be distinctive for the following reason.

Revelation 12 further states that another sign appears in heaven, a great, fiery red dragon having 7 heads and ten horn, and 7 diadems on his heads. (Rev. 12: 3) No one has addressed this. Again, God calls this a sign in heaven, not merely an allegorical symbol. So now we have 2 astronomical events which seem to be linked, neither of which is properly explained. Something about this fiery red dragon is occuring at the same time as the woman giving birth, because he is poised to devour the child when it is born. Draco is the astrological dragon, but it is not in a position to stand before the woman and devour the child she bears (Rev. 12:4). Serpens is in the right position, but I don’t know that we can call it fiery red, or having 7 heads and 10 horns, and 7 crowns on his head. Is it possible a unique event will occur which allows us to see a manifestation of the fiery red dragon that matches the description of Rev. 12? If that is the case, could the same event, or another one, allow us to look up at Virgo some day and say, “Oh yeah, there it is.”? I don’t know. But I am sure that they have to occur at the same time and in the exact manner described in the Bible.

I’m not trying to be contrarian, I’m just not satisfied with the explanations that are being proposed.

    Dave

  31. Thank you for your reply. It is sound wisdom. We will see. Time will tell and thank you for doing the responsible thing. One of these proponents of this sign has dated the rapture, anther has named the antichrist. While I do think the sign means something, I admittedly dont know what yet. Keep ding what you do. It is a blessing.

  32. Dave,

I have given ample info to answer your initial question. I have certainly sufficiently shown that the initial claims that are being made are simply inaccurate. I’m honestly not sure where your particular disconnect is. There simply is no unique sign this year. Have you listened to Heiser’s podcast yet? The sign of the woman and child was most certainly for the first century. The remainder of the description is something else entirely.

  33. Hi Joel, Rather than continue this as a protracted debate, which I think would become a distraction for others in this community, you can contact me via the email address provided. I would like to continue the discussion though because I think there flaws in Heiser’s analysis.

    Dave

  34. Dave,

With all due respect, I think I have already spent enough time answering your questions. If I am to be honest, I’m a bit dumbfounded by your response. Thus far, I’ve tried avoid being critical of the particular individuals who have popularized this claim, as this is not my desire. I did however watch some videos created by the primary ministry responsible. I will simply say that I was really saddened by the level of really bad hermeneutics and poor logic used throughout the video. After having admitted that he falsely predicted the rapture three and a half years ago, he just said sorry and literally moved on, and reapplied the same wrong methodology to move his date to this year. That you seem to be accepting of this, and critical of Dr. Heiser, who is far from perfect, but certainly is a hundred times more studied on this matter, says enough to me. As I have said, there simply is no special sign this year. Further, nowhere are we even commanded to look for any such sign. The portion of the sign in Revelation 12 that is being studied is long past fulfilled. The remainder concerning the dragon and the great persecution will be fulfilled in very literal manner here on the earth.

    Be blessed,
    Joel

  35. Hi Joel, I just finished your newest book “Mystery Babylon”. The arguments provided for Mystery Babylon being Mecca is so airtight in its logic, interpretation, and historical evidence. I love your systematic and thoroughly biblical approach to building your case (as is characteristic of your previous books).

I did have a question regarding this eschatological harlot. That is, is Mystery Babylon the same as the King of the South in Daniel 11? While there may be no dogmatic case for this, would you say it is probable? In Chapter 11 we find that both kings lie to each other at the same table and later on, they fight against each other (compare with the woman and the beast being allied, yet the woman is destroyed by the beast later on). What are your thoughts? Also, what types of current events should we expect to see in the coming days with regard to Mecca?

    Thanks!

  36. I think the King of the South is distinct from Babylon. The King of the South seems to be conquered earlier on in the regional consolidation of the AC’s power. I hope this has helped. I appreciate the encouragement. Glad it was beneficial to you.

As for the future of KSA, I am watching the growth of the regional development as well as how the relationship between the Kingdom and the new American admin relate.

    Blessings!

  37. Regarding all this talk of signs plural. I’ve noticed in my personal studies of the bible and the historical context of the cultures who are part of the bible that nobody in Christ’s day was looking for signs. They were only looking for “the sign” singular and the Messiah who came with it. The Pharisees said in Matthew 16:1 and Mark 8:11 show us a sign having it’s source in heaven and we will believe you. This is the only true sign that heralds Christ as the deliverer. The disciples asked for Christ’s sign singular in Matthew 24:3. Then Christ gives a bunch of baby signs so to speak but the main huge one is the only one that counts because it’s so huge and overwhelming Matthew 24:29-31. If we don’t get this sign right which is the only sign asked for of Christ we are going to be runing to the nearest cave instead of into His SHEKINAH GLORY when He comes.
PS my website is old and needs up dating but it still gives scriptural scientic and historical understing to the main sign of Christ coming.

  38. I figured out how rare the sign is with the moon under Virgo’s feet and Jupiter in her womb with out the 3 star alignment in conjunction with Leo. It is ever 95 years. However I did not consider in my calculations and other planet or body being in Virgo, or the factor of a retrograde motion lasting approximately nine months. Both of these would make the sign less rare, or more rare, respectively. Here is a video on the 12 star constellation associated with Virgo that you mentioned. Some might find this intriguing. https://youtu.be/ktmbeTaeFsA

  39. Glad you said it. So many wont. I read the Sun and moon combination was everyb12 years. They were close. This particular pregnancy like situation with Jupiter is every 83, but not necessarily when the moon is beneath the feet of Virgo. I think that is why people are so a buzz about it. The sign Michael Heiser spoke of was the sun; and moon under Virgo’s feet and Jupiter over Regulus in Leo. This reoccued in 2015. I find it fascinating thought I do not know what it means.

  40. Tray,

The pregnancy situation isn’t even legitimate. I went through the Stellarium software. Jupiter enters Virgo around November 2016, but then it leaves Virgo this year in May for about two months. It then re-enters Virgo in July and finally leaves Virgo in late August. On September 23, the magic date, Jupiter is already long out of Virgo’s womb and the sun has not even clothed Virgo yet. This is a manufactured sign. I’m sad folks are so quick to believe it without doing their homework. The funny thing is people seem more critical of me for trying to be a Berean and examine it than they are of the folks who are making the actual grand claims. Crazy times.

    Be Blessed,
    Joel

  41. joel you are fulfilling endtime prophecy as there will be more scoffers.. the rev. 12 sign is the endtime. there is no other way of getting around this.

  42. Phil,

Scoffers mock the idea that Jesus is ever going to return, or that He is coming soon. I do neither of these things. Bereans on the other hand test all things and as such are called, “more noble.” I’m sorry you’ve confused one for the other. I pray the Lord will give us both discernment and love for one another in the difficult days to come.

    Blessings,
    Joel

  43. Jesus is so clear in Matthew 24:14 when he says “And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” So any time I hear any claims that so and so is the antichrist or what have you, I always know that it is false, it is built to fail because the gospel has not yet reached all the nations. Jesus the prophet MUST be taken seriously. Israel needed to become a nation and be gathered, also, the great commission needs to be completed, and we are getting closer to that praise God! But until that happens any claim is ultimately false until the great commission is complete and there are disciples from every nation and tribe.

  44. Joel, I think the critical question is whether or not the Revelation 12 “sign” of 2017 is the same stellar alignment that occurred in 3-2 BC. From what I’ve read, the alignment occurred in 3915 BC and 3-2 BC. Just three times including this year. Is that true? If so, I think you have the heavens declaring the Glory of God for Genesis 3:15, John 1:14 and Revelation 12. I think 2017 is an important year.

Remember, Daniel’s prophecy of the 70 Shabuwa began in 445 BC. But that was 70 years after the dedication of the temple (515 BC). That the seventy-sevens began 70 years after the 2nd Temple is not a coincidence of history. God is precise with his dates.

    Year 5777.
    * 50th anniversary liberation of Jerusalem; Blowing of shofar by Rabbi Goren (b. 1917)
    * 70th anniversary of 1947, UN partition agreement of Jerusalem
    * 100th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration and fall of Ottoman control of Jerusalem

  45. You say You can’t borrow from the Leo constellation, but then you borrow from Coma Berenice! Also my Stellarium does not show Jupiter going outside the womb of Virgo for nearly ten months – the correct gestational time. Did you zoom in to see it properly? Not sure why yours doesn’t show what mine does. Would location matter? Should be set to Jerusalem.

  46. I set it to Jerusalem. Jupiter leaves the womb for two months. If one considers it to be in the womb the whole time, then using that as the standard for Virgo’s womb, then it is in the womb for over 11 months. Miracles do not need to be shoe-horned.

Nothing hypocritical in seeing Coma as representing the crown. It is supposed originally have been a crown! Second, Coma Berenices is not one of the twelve original constellations that are believed to be among of the original twelve biblical constellations. Coma Berenices has simply been called that since the roughly second century BC.

I am only seeking to encourage Berean behavior. Time will tell.

    Blessings,
    Joel

  47. Thank you Joel… your explanation is balanced and sober and the real immediate concern is whether we are ready or not to meet our Saviour, and the focus is to remain on building our relationship with Him.

    bless you in Jesus name
