When you spoke of an upcoming trip, I thought it may well be Mount Siani.
I was convinced in about 1994 after watching the The Exodus by the Wyatt’s.
I actually remember my heart stopping when seeing the split rock, then finding that verse in Isiaha 48.
Hope you all have a brilliant time .
Interesting. I’ve seen the Ron Wyatt info. Believed it initially then read some things that persuaded me otherwise. Would love to hear more from you on this. Blessings on you and this trip. Praying!
The whole field of Exodus studies is wrought with controversy and very strong opinions. Few show much kindness toward those who have different views. From the scholarly community, there is tremendous condescension toward this location in particular. So, I’ve worked through all of the popular online “against” articles, as well as several scholarly papers. Thus far, I’ve found nothing of any substance in the way of solid arguments against it. That was before I went. Having now been there, I am absolutely sure this is the real Sinai. It would take a few hours to lay out all of the reasons why. Visting it was the most stunning and faith-building experience of my life.
DEFINITELY up for a few hours of reasons.
Joel, I was not aware of of this controversy until you hinted of it in one of your twitter posts. After checking this out, I was blown away by the stories of it being discovered by the Wyatts, Caldwells, and Dr. Kim of Korea and how they came to that site. Then seeing all the evidence they produced was overwhelming. God truly kept this place pristine until such a time as this. Now to see how this all unfolds now will be interesting. Hope you can lay out a thorough examination of all you see as it relates to the biblical evidence of that area as opposed to the present day Sinai.
Praying for your safe return, can’t wait to hear more about your trip.
Ron Wyatt is also noted in discovering what he believes is the Ark of the Covenant within Jeremiah’s Grotto within the hill of Golgotha.
Wow, stunning, you being there! For many years this site was a closed area, how did you get permission in the first place !?
Well this is so exciting, Joel! Like Linda, I also had a hunch that you would be in Saudi Arabia when you announced your trip. I stumbled across Jim and Penny Caldwell’s work, as well as Ron Wyatt, about a year and a half ago and have watched their videos on YouTube.. I am convinced this is the real thing. It is just one more confirmation of the Bible’s veracity and that our faith is based on fact. Archeology is our friend, and the truth of scripture is confirmed by it. We are living in amazing days, to see these things revealed.
I will be praying for the preservation of these sites by the Saudi authorities, and for Prince Mohammed bin Salman in particular. May the Lord use this to bring people to Himself in these last days.
Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
I agree with Taryn, Joel, you really should consider doing at least one “The Underground” episode (perhaps more than one) for a closer look at your trip to Mt. Sinai. I believe you because I know you somewhat, but I also think there would be enough interest from your viewer-fans that we would like to know WHY you believe as you do by laying out the proofs for your conclusion. I think it would be instructional and highly educational for those would like to know more who are unable to visit there as you did.
Please pray about it and ask the LORD if this is what he would have you do.
Blessings!
How about a whole film and accompanying book?
Joel, I think that would be splendid! But “tease” us first with an overview of trip on “The Underground” would be a nice place to start. 🙂
Blessings!
But what if one of us gets hit by a truck while we are waiting for this documentary to be released?
Wow! I absolutely loved this program. You are blessed to see these historical places in person and to be a part of God’s last day plan. It’s just amazing. I came across your program a couple of years ago by divine design and have been challenged and encouraged by your insight into the role the middle eastern nations play in the last days. Up to that time I was content believing that the anti-christ would rise out of Europe, until I read your books The Mid East Beast and Mystery Babylon. And you have helped me recognize that the Bible is Israel centered and not American centered. Just knowing this has opened my eyes to understand that America (NYC) is not the woman who rides the beast, like I once thought. Reading your books and understanding the rift between Saudi Arabia and Iran, Turkey, Syria, etc… makes so much sense. I am so thankful to your ministry and I pray for you and your family often.
I have three questions from Daniel that I hope you can help me better understand.
#1. In Daniel Chapter 12:12 what is meant by those who wait and make it to the end of 1335 days?
#2. Concerning the mixture of iron and clay feet from Daniel 2:33, if they represent a kingdom like the head, chest, and belly/thighs do, do you believe this represents the Islamic nations who are strong like iron… verses the Islamic nations who are soft like clay? Or something else?
#3. Concerning the 7 year period of the Tribulation from the 70th week prophecy found in the book of Daniel (which I am familiar with)… Where is the 7 year period of time found in the new Testament? I can only find a period of 3 1/2 years that the anti-christ rules and reigns over the whole earth. So how does that fit? Is there any possibility that Christ’s ministry on earth for 3 1/2 years is the first half and the second half will be the 3 1/2 years the Devil gets his time for ministry (so to speak)? For some reason the seven year period of time just doesn’t make sense to me. Any insight is appreciated.
Thank you,
Kelly
#1 Is obviously a call for endurance and patience to endure to the very end. Cannot say precisely the importance of that timeframe.
#2 Strong nations, weak nations that comprise the Beast coalition.
#3 The full seven years are at the end. The AC violates the temple in the middle of the week. That’s the middle of seven years. Affirmed in 2 Thessalonians 2 and Revelation 12-13.
Joel,
Got it! Thanks for your reply.
Kelly
Joel,
Please keep us informed. Let us know in general when you will be going again, I want to give some money for that trip.
Shalom!

Joel, are you open to a post-trib (& therefore non-dispensational view)?
I’m not a dispensationalist. I am already pre-wrath / post-trib.
