Washington’s misplaced support for Turkey’s Erdogan

Luke Montgomery

I would like to call my readers attention to a man named Luke Montgomery. Montgomery lived in the Middle East for over a decade, holds an MA in Linguistics, speaks fluent Turkish and writes on foreign policy, religion and culture. Montgomery is one of those rare commentators out there who truly “gets it” concerning the importance of the nation Turkey in the present unfolding of global events. If any of my readers enjoy fiction, particularly fiction that is deeply rooted in truth, then I absolutely highly recommend his book, A Deceit to Die For. You can also follow Montogomery’s work at www.lukemontgomery.net, or find him on Twitter at @LookingFor_Luke and on Facebook.

Below is Montogomery’s most recent excellent article featured in the Washington Times:

  1. “Aspects of a possible confederation between a Palestinian West Bank state and the Hashemite Kingdom…were the subject of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s recent conversation with Jordan’s King Abdullah in Amman, debkafile’s sources reveal.”

    PSALM 83
    5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
    6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
    7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
    8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. (Note:10 KINGS)

    REVELATION 17
    12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

    When Assad is gone and a new ruler arises in Syria, he will last only a short time (Daniel 11). Then the Antichrist will rise and make a treaty with Israel. It is only a short time now.

  2. Washington’s support of Turkey’s Erdogan is not misplaced when you consider Obama is the enemy of our country and Israel. Check the link below to see his actions and decisions in favor of Islamic extremists.

    The way I see prophecy, Obama is the king of Babylon (U.S.) who is responsible for our country’s destruction and millions of deaths.

    Isaiah 14:19-20

    “But you (Obama) are cast out of you tomb like a rejected branch; you are covered with the slain, with those pierced by the sword (in an Islamic invasion), those who descend to the stones of the pit. Like a corpse trampled underfoot, you will not join them (former presidents) in burial, for you have destroyed your land and killed your people.”

  3. The world will be amazed when the mortal wound is healed, and the Islamic empire is reassembled before our eyes. At least we know ahead of time, not to believe any lying wonders.

  4. Elijah,

    Dont take this the wrong way, but non-Americans like myself find it a little arrogant that Americans ascribe whole sections of the Bible to America. Just because America is powerful and being led by a dodgey leader does not automatically equate to Babylon and AntiChrist. There really are other powerful nations out there as well, also led by Godless leaders.
    A prominent role in world affairs does not guarantee a mention in biblical estchatology. A hundred years ago the British ruled a quater of the world. That changed, very quickly. What makes you so sure the same cant happen to the US, leaving the role of “Mystery Babylon” to another nation?

    I think its a good idea to remember what Joel said in MidEast Beast, that the Bible is mainly a middle eastern book, centred on that region of the world.

  5. Well said, Giles. Your last paragraph of your 12.29.12 post is especially fitting and we need to remember everything in the Bible including Bible prophecy is Jerusalem centric because it is God’s holy city and the world will be ruled from this point and why it is such a point of both political and spiritual contention. Sometimes, Americans can get carried away with themselves, unknowingly, as many of us think the world revolves around us when, in fact, it revolves around Jerusalem, specifically, and the greater Middle East, generally. Please forgive our self-absorption. Many thanks.
