1. Truly interesting field reporting, Joel. The cut aways to the actual service work validates the work FAI is performing in Mosul. I also thought it was relevant what Dalton said regarding the media and the silence from them of the true nature of the situation there. This is why it is important that field reporting is necessary so that the Body of Christ understands the genuine conditions and not solely rely on media reporting which may not state fully or accurately the true status resulting from their own news organization’s agenda. If Christians are not willing to step out and risk to love these vulnerable people in the name of Jesus, how will they ever have a chance to know that Jesus loves them and wants a personal relationship with them? But always to love them first, then tell them in whose name you come and why and in that order.

   Really, really engaging and fascinating look at the work FAI is doing and the difference they make to make refugees’ lives better and to build a spiritual outpost for the Kingdom of God in a place of darkness and conflict.

5. Joel, this episode is so timely. Have been teaching Nahum’s prophecy against, Nineveh, for the past 3 weeks. Have been following the battle to retake, Mosul, since the beginning. Even though the prophecy primarily is pointing to the fall of Assira to Babylon, it eerily discribes the battle to retake Mosul at this time. Nahum 2:8 is a good example of when Isis first over ran the city. I ask God, who is really going to be in charge of Mosul when the battle is over. As quick as a flash the answer came, “I am”. I shared with my class that I really believe that Mosul, modern day Nineveh, is a major “gate of hell” Jesus was referring to when He said they could not stop His Church.

6. A brilliant and touching insight into the heart of FAI.
   Thank you Joel for going over to Iraq and being willing to share with us the Truth as to what is going on over there and the Love of Jesus that can be shared through the gift of sacrifice. It was confronting to see their pain and heartache but it was also beautiful to see their Joy when they receive the aid so badly needed.

   Agreed. I’ve been amazed at how well Nahum describes what is unfolding right now. We visited Nahum’s Tomb just north of the city last September.

   What an amazing labour FAI do, as servants of the Living God in such an “ocean of need” as you put it Joel!
   Made me think of the Apostle Paul when he said: “present your bodies as living sacrifices, Holy and pleasing unto the Lord”
   Will definitely give to this amazing ministry, after I have saved for ONEKING!
   That really made me emotionaly respond when you mentioned that part of Romans when Paul said “when we were His enemies Christ died for us.” When we think where would be without the grace of the Lord, how can we not share the love of the Lord with Sunnis, Shia, Kurds etc…
   We did not 1st love Him…He loved us!

   Slight aside: when I get time will write 5 star review of MYSTERY BABYLON, awesome book! Will sit nicely next to MID EAST BEAST and WHEN A JEW RULES THE WORLD!
   Hopfully my review will be read on the Uk amazon site to help get your book to a British audience Joel!

   Been so inspired by your writings, along with Dalton’s books, John Harrigan’s book: THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST CRUCIFIED and Samuel Whitefield’s book ONEKING!
   Really hope Reggie Kelly writes some books too at some point!

    This is big, look what Erdogan said last week speaking of a crusader alliance…

    He’s really setting himself up to be the saviour of the middle East. (Unfortunately he wants good relations with the UK when we leave ????)

    Until a week ago I had never heard of you. I saw you on YouTube and it seems you are a laser beam in the muddied area of end-times interpretation. I bought your book Mystery Babylon and was astounded at how much has been going on under my “western nose” without my having a clue! Lol.

    Thanks be to Father God for this wonderful presentation detailing the work being done by these dedicated young people. I am blessed to have been made aware of this work, to bring the love of Yeshua to war ravaged refugees in their own land. I praise GOD for these young people and their selfless dedication. I wish I could help financially, but I will certainly remember them in prayer that Father would guide and protect them as they go about the Master’s business.

    Thanks for the inside look at what FAI is doing in the Mosul offensive. I love the approach too of “not looking just for the need, but for the opportunity”. This kind of look at hearing the driving heart of the work really helps one in giving & fuels pointed & effectual prayer/intercession for God to use it by His Spirit to touch many for eternity with the love of Christ through the Gospel message & the hands & feet of Jesus through His servants! Love it!

    I have always appreciated your labour and effort very much. It also moves me to pray more for both muslims and Jews.

    Meanwhile, it’s not really related to this post but, may I ask if you can share this with other Christians in the west to pray for Malaysia and especially the Christians and the missing pastors? A few pastors have been kidnapped and missing since last year and Koh is one of them. It’s believed to be related to the higher Islamic religious authorities. Now BBC has just brought it up. It’s so heartbreaking.

    Unfortunately, I cannot find your mailing address, this being the reason for my posting it in this place: Listening regularly from Germany to your updates, I have often been wondering, whether the final times could possibly be a combination of the Roman Catholic Church and some Moslem states instead of pure moslemic activity.
