   May He provide all the finances your family and ministry needs.

   Personally I’m just glad that understanding things is not a competition! So glad that the Lord and yourself do not bash us when we don’t get it.

   I always remember when finding your sight, asking God, ‘why doesn’t Joel think that Rome is the legs Lord?’ although I knew it wasn’t the revived kingdom. Then early last year while shopping and pondering, it just, I believe came to me while walking past a local garage.

   So thank you for your patience with God’s people. Blessed new year to you and your family.

   Brother, I just got so happy I nearly drove off the road! As the Lord has been leading/burdening me over the past year or two on Evangelism specifically to Muslims (& has used your ministry/teachings, some real life experiences, several prophetic dreams, etc.), I have been praying, “Lord, specifically, what do you want me to do? I’ll do it. Here I am, send me”. And I was JUST accepting the Lord’s apparent direction on it & was praying just over the last week or two asking Him for tools in HOW exactly to engage & evangelize Muslims here in Albuquerque where I live. I prayed & remembered how the Lord used Ray Comfort earlier on in my walk/ministry in Evangelism (I used to teach WOTM at my church, lead teams, have been with Ray/Kirk doing Open Air back in the day – though I MUCH PREFER personally engaging in “1-on-1” even when others drew crowds open air). I prayed and asked the Lord for more tools & understanding/teaching towards Muslims in similar fashion. I am so excited about what you shared! You & your teaching/ministry have been and are such a blessing to me (& the BOC at large). I will be praying for you, your family, your ministry, & will pray about what we can do to help support you. And praying for God’s provision & blessing to be “beyond all you could ask, think or imagine”! I ordered a bundle, so be sure & reserve me a copy of that book! ??

7. Not 100% sure the reference/implication on Friday? Payday or Islam holy day? FYI – I’ve been going to eat where the Muslims eat here on Fridays regularly (Muslim owned & friendly), but I don’t know the appropriate/best way to say to the people eating at their table (or taking my order) – hey, you look Muslim. I’m a Christian. Want to talk about God? ? I know that sounds a little funny, but I’ve been going, praying, asking the Lord, getting out my Bible to read, etc. & really asking the Lord for help/wisdom/insight/power. For real. ?

9. Friday is the day that Muslims go to Mosque. Its the best day to commit to going out to reach Muslims. Either at a Mosque (if it has a public accessible sidewalk) or at the local Halal market where they get fresh food etc. I bring a bunch of New Testaments or the Dear Muslim Friend booklets and just say hi, and begin a conversation if possible. I offer the book. Always a good start.

    Love hearing about your new and on-going ministry projects regarding outreach to Muslims and Christian leadership training which you are so good at and God has gifted you abundantly in both of those areas. It is always a challenge and a walk of faith when a reorganization in ministry is required so that you have a good life balance. It keeps Joel healthy, happy and wise when that happens and necessary.

    I’m sure you have been checking on Amazon and it is exciting to see your book is STILL #1 and hoping the positive reviews are extremely encouraging to you. I continue to read through the final product. It is even better now this time around, it is a very tight, sound, and a persuasive case that you make and why there is vigorous opposition…forces of darkness? Hmmm…

    Anyway, good to see you back in the saddle of episode programming.

    Praying for you and especially for your wife’s chronic pain. I have disc issues (which aren’t nearly as bad as myalgia) so I understand chronic pain. May God heal her!
    I have bought your book and I am enjoying seeing my old ideas put to the test. Thanks for writing it. I know you have to put up with a lot of resistance both in and out of the Church when putting something like this out there…

    I want to thank you for being faithful and encouraging your brothers & sisters to seek first the kingdom of God. I got my copy on Thursday and just finished it today. I would have read it all on the same day because it is that amazing but as you know being a father of five requires a lot of your time. My beautiful 2 year old daughter just watched this episode with me and when you showed the trailer and book cover she exuberantly stated, “that’s your book daddy!” I haven’t been able to put it down.
    Spoiler Alert: I recently saw the new Star Wars movie Rogue One and was wondering if you helped them plan the scene where Jedha , a spiritual hub for Jedi enthusiasts, was completely and utterly destroyed. what a coincidence! I couldn’t stop thinking about the scene as you were writing about Jeddah the port city. not to mention this planet was a desert. I have copied a link with a trailer showing a partial scene.

    I couldn’t wait for a hard copy so I purchased the Kindle version. At the expense of a good night’s sleep and a frustrated wife, I just finished reading your book Mystery Babylon. You build a strong case with solid evidence. The section’s dealing with Hislop’s and Woodrow’s work (and subsequent redactions) were particularly helpful in re-adjusting my interpretation of prophetic events. I will continue to examine this more carefully. Sometimes the term “newspaper exegesis” is thrown around to publicly dismiss ideas that challenge traditionally held views. I don’t believe that is the case with this book. The scope and magnitude of Islamic influence historically and today is too hard to dismiss. This book draws attention to that which is most obvious and clear. I will recommend this book to others as well as encourage this book on the appropriate book review sites.

    On page 15 of “Mystery Babylon” begins a section titled “SHE SITS IN A DESERT”, in which it is argued that the word sometimes translated “wilderness” in Revelation 17:3 should be translated “desert”. I find support for this in Bible translations in my personal library. Ferrar Fenton’s 1905 translation has “And in spirit he conveyed me to a desert”. Helen Montgomery’s 1924 translation has “And he bore me away in the Spirit into the desert”.

    You also state that Revelation 17:3 is drawn from Isaiah 21:1. I find support for this also. Ferrar Fenton has “The Doom of the Desert-Sea”. The Jewish Publication Society’s 1985 translation has “The Desert of the Sea Pronouncement”.

    Depending on the translation, either at the end of Revelation 12 or the start of Revelation 13 is a sentence that is also related to a desert. The King James Version has “And I [John] stood upon the sand of the sea”. Ferrar Fenton has “And he [the dragon] stationed himself upon the upon the sand of the sea”. Helen Montgomery has “And he [the dragon] stood upon the sand of the sea”. I checked out the Greek text and found that there is a definite article before both “sand” and “sea”. So it isn’t just any sand of any sea, but “the sand of the sea”, an expression that I think designates a particular geographical location, as does “the desert of the sea”. I think that both phrases designate the Arabian Peninsula.

    Obama has been very good of being rather opaque. Any information we have about him is somewhat difficult to prove.

    Mystery Babylon, both Harlot and City, will be revealed during the first half of the 70th week of Daniel. It will gain power and authority over the kings of the earth during that time, catapulted by the 7 year covenant with the many by the AC, which jump starts the 70th week. The Beast allows Mystery Babylon, the Harlot, to keep it under control until mid week. The beast then reveals itself as the AC and sets up the abomination that makes desolate. The AC then destroys the Harlot religion, the city is destroyed later during the Wrath of God.

    At the mid point of the week (start of the Great Tribulation), the AC will move his headquarters from Mystery Babylon the city, to Jerusalem and demand worship. Some say his initial headquarters will not be Mystery Babylon. I interpret it otherwise, since both are dependent on each other during the first 3.5 years of the 70th week. When the covenant is made and the week begins, the seals of the scroll (containing the wrath of God and deed to the earth inside) are broken by the Lamb leading to the opening of the scroll and ability to view the Wrath of God. The first seal is magnanimous. It contains the covenant, the false christ, mystery babylon the city and harlot arise, and the temple construction begins. Our answer will be certain when the Revelation of Jesus to John is unsealed, at the breaking of the first seal. IMO

28. The book “Mystery Babylon” has for me opened up some understanding of the prophecies of Isaiah. Obvious links between Isaiah 47 and Revelation 17-18 (e.g. Isaiah 47:8 and Revelation 18:7; Isaiah 47:14 and Revelation 17:16) concern the mother of harlots. I now see obvious links between the “burden” chapters of Isaiah and Revelation 17-18 (e.g. Isaiah 21:9 and Revelation 18:2 concern “is fallen, is fallen”; Isaiah 13:21 and Revelation 18:2 concern unclean birds and spirits).

    In chapters 13 through 23 and at 30:6, Isaiah mentions eleven burdens, one of which concerns Israel. The other ten burdens concern regions in the surrounding Middle East and Africa, all of which are thoroughly Islamic. These may describe conditions within the ten kingdoms that will unite behind the Antichrist.

    The book “Mystery Babylon” is easy to understand. But I think that it clears the way for understanding some of the more difficult-to-understand prophecies of the Bible.
