  1. Hi Joel,
Do you believe that Islam will be crushed?
When will that happen according to your researches through the biblical prophecies ?

  2. When Jesus returns he will deliver his people from oppressors. If Muslims choose to embrace the “everlasting hatred” of Israel, the Jewish people, and Christians, then they will be judged. Though I am sure that not all will choose this. I am confident that many will repent and turn to the truth of the Bible. In fact, more Muslims are coming to faith in Jesus (the true Jesus of the Bible, not the false Jesus of the Qur’an) now than at any other time in history. I trust that you will also become a Christian Abdullah.

    Blessings, Joel

  3. Excellent.. very good and right on. So hard to find a self taught person who has studied to show “themselves” approved. When you do not follow the teaching of others blindly you will end up very, very close to this narrative. The Bible is very clear when you don’t twist or distort the truth.

@Abdullah… praying for you… seek truth and you will find Jesus to be a God who has laid down His life for you… because of His great desire to do His Fathers will. God loves you because He is love…

  4. Hi Joel,
    When? When that will happen?
    Could you be specif? 2022?

Joel, I don’t question of your heart and your feeling. I really appreciate that. However,Islam is my life.
    Can I have your email?

  5. Abdullah,

Jesus said, “Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 10:39)

  6. Joel,

What do you do with the teaching in Ephesians that talks about “one” new” man with the dividing wall of hostility removing the barrier between the Jew and the Gentile. I teach that this is referring to both groups being reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. The one new man deals with the new covenant and the inauguration of the Kingdom to be fulfilled later at the return of Christ. Jesus said the kingdom would be taken away from the Jews and given to a people who would produce fruit. I see the remnant as a pipeline from Genesis 12 to Revelation 7 but I would not recommend for ANY JEW to avoid Jesus and take their chances on being one of the 144000. So seeing the one new man and the obvious teaching of Eph. 2 and 3 mentioned in the beginning of your video I was wondering if you see the tension in this continued narrative the Bible has continuing to keep grafted in Gentiles separate from the cultivated olive tree but at the same time calling this union in Christ ONE NEW MAN. Thanks for any help here.. pray for you and your outreach nearly everyday.

@Abdullah God requires perfection for entrance into the kingdom. If a person is trying to be good and keep the commandments this actually puts you under a curse because no man can keep the law. Perfection is given freely to us in Christ Jesus because He never sinned. He was a perfect priest who submitted to God’s will unto death. His death is the only thing that will satisfy God’s wrath because He was a human like us but He was also perfect like God. Praying for your journey to end up at the feet of our precious Lord. Take care Abdullah and keep asking .. keep searching.. keep knocking.. the truth will be there right in front of you when you see it you will know it..

  7. Troy,

I’m not sure I fully understand what you are asking. The wall of hostility was a literal wall of separation excluding Gentiles. The kingdom being taken away from the Jews of course was a specific reference to that particular generation. The kingdom will be restored of course.

  8. Hi Joel,
    and others.

great conversation and teaching. I commend the speaker for his excellent work.

Joel, I believe the scriptures clearly teach the gentiles are not required to follow the Torah. Many today are pushing the idea that gentiles should follow much of the O.T. in order to draw closer to the type of worship God prescribed. I believe Paul the Apostle made it very clear that God has Israel firmly planted within the whole plan of God.
That is a given. God will finish his plan and fulfill the Gospel by restoring Israel.
the final thousand years will be about Israel representing God as a priestly nation to the gentile world. The whole world will travel to Israel to be in the presence of God on earth and witness the glory of His presence and his chosen people.

I agree that is a huge missing ingredient within much of the church.

it will happen; Israel is a vital part and the Law has it’s place in the whole plan.

Would you be kind enough to give a simple (not a simple subject) reply to the teaching of say a Mark Biltz, who seems to push an effort to get the gentile churches to not only learn about, but to follow, many O.T. ceremonies

I believe Biltz is wrong along with much of the “Hebrew Roots” teaching.

I am not confrontational and don’t want to create a situation in which you need to defend or question Mark, but I believe Paul battled this teaching in his own time and we now have it returning in these final days.

In the interest of Godly conversation and a healthy discussion regarding these things.

Paul strongly defended the gentile churches from ‘those from James’ who would try to influence them into living like the Jews.

    thoughts anyone?

    Doug

  9. Joel,

The N.T. maintains a distinction between Jew and Gentile (Romans 11 & Eph. 2 and 3) while at the same time calling this ONE NEW MAN. What is Paul referring to when he speaks of ONE NEW MAN specifically? So the tension created in my mind is the ONE NEW MAN seems to agree with Galatians 3:28. This is the tension I am speaking of when the distinction is so clear in Romans 11. Is the entire tree the ONE NEW MAN? To me the one new man use to refer to the church separate from the Jew and the Gentile and in some ways still does. Still clear as mud.. ? (Sorry)

  10. Doug,

I agree that observance of Torah is never required or even expected among Gentile per Acts 15 and several other passages.

  11. This was a great episode! I started listening to Stephen through the Prayer Furnace Podcasts and I didn’t even know who he was until I heard his stuff on DTN. He has such a pure heart for God and the Jewish people and I’m so happy to see you guys interacting together.

I also wanted to tell Abdullah that I will be praying for him and praying that God would reveal Himself to him and that Abdullah would have an encounter with the living Messiah, just as the apostle Paul did. I’m so glad that the Father has drawn Abdullah to your website and I know He has a purpose for it.

    God bless you!

  12. Hi Joel, I’m talking to a guy who is adamant that the antichrist will NOT be islamic. Could you please answer these objections, because I don’t know the scriptures in this area enough to answer them!
1.) The antichrist will be from Israel. Which verses explicitly say he is islamic?
2.) Daniel says he rejects the God of his fathers. My friend claims this expression must mean the true God.
3.) He says the Jews will never accept anyone besides an Israeli as their Messiah.

God bless you Joel! Thanks for your insight

  13. A,

Rather than rewrite a book in this post, I would highly encourage you to read my book Mideast Beast. I deal which each of these various misunderstandings that your friend has. But briefly:

There is no passage anywhere in Scripture that says or even infers that the Antichrist will be from Israel. Jesus said to his countrymen, if another comes in his own name, him will you receive. But this says absolutely nothing about the Antichrist. That is only an assumption. This was easily fulfilled with various false Messiah-claimants such as Bar Kochba.

The greatest type of the AC in Scripture is Antiochus Epiphanies. Certainly not a Jew. He came from the region of Turkey, Syria or Northern Iraq. I assume we are not expecting a Jewish Antichrist from Syria.

The term ab elohim is indeed a reference to the One True God. It is arguably a mistranslation to say it is the god of “his fathers,” though it could. As an Ishmaelite, this would still apply. However, it could just as easily be read as saying he will reject the “God of our fathers” (i.e.. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This would be sufficient.

Nowhere does the Bible ever say the Jews will accept the Antichrist as their Messiah. This is simply an unbiblical assumption. Quite to the contrary, he leads an invasion of Middle Eastern nations in an invasion of Israel. Its very simple.

Again, please get the book.I hope this has helped.

    Blessings,
    Joel

  14. Abdulla asked, “When? When that will happen?”
My guess, two days to the Lord from the crucifixion and ascension. I.e. 2000 years from around 30-33AD
Hosea 6:2 is very clear in the Hebrew that that’s when the resurrection of the dead will take place.

  15. please the underground videos are they downloadable? I’d like to be able to download them. thanks

  16. They are downloadable from Vimeo or Youtube. From Youtube, it is best to download the app 4K Video Downloader or something similar.

  17. @Abdullah

Praying you continue to stay with us and read all these things and ask the God of the Bible to help you in understanding how much He loves YOU! Yes, you personally, Abdullah! The living and personal God of the Bible wants a vibrant daily relationship with YOU! But you must call to him and turn away from what prevents you from doing that and when you do, the God of the Bible will reveal Himself to you and forgive you and begin a relationship to you.

Please know all of who have this same relationship to the personal God of the Bible are praying that you too will enjoy this kind of relationship as well. We do care deeply about how you can know the personal God of the Bible by trusting and following God’s Son, Jesus.

Joel or any of us who are praying for you can help you to do this. But you must reach out.

    Blessings!

  18. The unfulfilled promises of God toward Israel.

Joel I commend you for dealing with the antisemitism which is tragically flowing through the Churches. I’ve meet some very nasty antisemites who love quoting Hebrews about the annulling of the previous administrations, however they often change the tenses used in Hebrews to justify their theology of hate. Hebrews 8:13 (Lexham Bible translation) says:
“In calling it new, he has declared the former to be old.
Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is near to disappearing.”

But the Jew haters I’ve come across quote like this.

“In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is already obsolete and aged has already passed away.” Hebrews 8:13

I understand it like this, the cross has fulfilled the most important essential things so that from the perspective of God, eternity is waiting to begin with the new earth with no temple (Revelation 21:22).

But because there are still unfulfilled promises of God spoken by His prophets yet to be fulfilled it can not yet pass away, which is why Hebrews 8:13 uses the tenses to teach that it has ‘not yet’ passed away.

Deuteronomy 30 gives prophetic promises that after all the curses have come against Israel and God brings back the tribes from every nation after heaven, and event that happens after Yeshua returns from heaven (Ezekiel 48) that the Jews will carry out their New Covenant faith in a specific way, let us read Deuteronomy 30:4–10 together:

“Even if you are outcasts at the end of the heavens, even from there the LORD your God shall gather you, and from there he shall bring you back. And the LORD your God will bring you to the land that your ancestors had taken possession of, and he will make you successful, and he will make you more numerous than your ancestors. “And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your inner self so that you may live. And the LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, on those who harassed you. And you will again listen to the voice of the LORD, and you will do all his commandments that I am commanding you today…

(I agree with your hermeneutics of defining Magog by who Magog was known as in the time Ezekiel, using the same hermeneutics, what was all His commandments which Moses was commanding them in that day?)

…And the LORD your God will make you prosperous in all your undertakings, and in the fruit of your livestock and in the fruit of your ground abundantly, for the LORD will again rejoice over you, just as he rejoiced over your ancestors. He will do this if you listen to the voice of the LORD your God by keeping his commandment and his statutes written in the scroll of this law and if you return to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your inner self.”

That’s why Yeshua said the Torah can’t pass away till after the Millennium, because God made specific promises by His prophets that it would be practiced in the future, and to not do so would make God to be a liar.

If God makes a specific promise, that it must be fulfilled in the specific way that He promised, only curses could be annulled through repentance (e.g. Nineveh). If Jesus fulfilled all the OT promises, Acts 3:21 wouldn’t talk about “the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago”.

    Shalom!

I’d like to share some Scriptures without too much commentary.

  19. That last part of “I’d like to share some Scriptures without too much commentary” was a typo. It was supposed to finish with Shalom, sigh. Sorry for not proof reading it well enough.

  20. Actually the Torah is changed at the start of the Millennium. Ezekiel records for example the sacrifices for passover, which are different than in Numbers etc. There are other differences as well.

  21. Is the Torah changed or is there a new administration working in concert with an unchanged former?
i.e. The sons of Aaron are still performing their tasks which the Torah prescribed for them, but now there is the Melchizedek priesthood operating right along beside them with Yeshua as the Nasi, serving as King and Priest (Zechariah 6:13).

If anything is different in Ezekiel and during the Millennium, and you’re correct there are other things going on, I would put that down to the requirements of the Melchizedek priesthood and its administration.

Also, Yeshua is the first of many brethren (Romans 8:29), and when this mortal body puts on immortality and we become b’ne Elohim (Luke 20:36), we will function as kings and priests too (Revelation 20:6). So as resurrected people, it seems we will be acting within the Melchizedek priesthood, not the Aaronic priesthood which seems to be only for mortals physical descendants of Aaron (Ezekiel 44:15).

    Shalom! 🙂

  22. There clearly is a change. A change in priesthood would not change the prescribed sacrifices.

  23. Hello,
I was really expecting more specific answer (date or a years) for my question. Joel. I know that you have been doing many researches in this field, so that’s why I’m curious.
OK, Let me modify the question, Do you think that will happen in the next twenty years?

For all christians who addressed me on this comment. All your feelings are appreciated.
Believe me, I read your bible more than the average christians do. I ask always when it comes to faith and God.
However, I’m afraid that most christians don’t do that, and they present Islam as they get it from their media which is not authentic nor is it accurate.
If I do the research myself, I would expect the same from you although I’m not optimistic about that. Because I’ve seen many pastors even they have a phdd egre, yet they present Islam from their media, so I don’t think that the average christians are different.

Moreover, you have to know that slam for me is the life itself. I breathe with it. Our culture as whole, which by the way is very similar to the biblical culture , is embedded in it.
    =========
I’ll comment later about the passage in Matthew 10 ,and for the statement you wrote ,Joel. ” everlasting hatred” of Israel, the Jewish people, and Christians”

    Thank you.
    Salam.

  24. Abdullah,

Jesus Himself says that no man knows the day or the hour. I suspect strongly He will come back within 25 years, but ultimately my suspicions mean little.

  25. There are ambiguous passages about the very last days,
and there are the very specific and clear ones.
Too many get stuck in the ambiguous ones and forget all the clear ones.

    Here are the clear ones:
    1) That Yeshua’s gospel would be preached in the entire world to all nations before the end would come. (Matthew 24:14, Mark 13:10)

Current trends regarding missions to lost peoples and Bible translations have this coming to an end within decades. The Bible is available in whole or in part to about 98 percent of the world’s population in a language in which they are fluent. You can see the gospel reaching the entire world here:
    https://youtu.be/9Gp-_ZsUagc

    2) Yeshua prophesied that He would not return until the Jews of Jerusalem would cry out, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord,” (Luke 13:35, Matthew 23:39) only then He would return.

When the Jews came back to the land of Israel, there was only about a dozen Jewish Believers! yet now it has risen to about 20,000, with 150 congregations in the Holy Land, and a total number of Jewish Believers around the entire world currently reaching as high as 300,000.

    3) the Apostle Paul said the Antichrist would sit in the Jewish temple in Jerusalem on Mount Zion, and that the Lord Himself would personally put him to death at His glorious return (2 Thessalonians 2:8). There was NO POSSIBLE WAY that could ever be fulfilled before 1967, then suddenly that land was back in Jewish hands and suddenly became a possibility, and while they haven’t rebuilt the temple YET, the temple institute has rebuilt essentially all that needs to be placed within it.

Then there’s the fact that the deadly wound to the seventh kingdom of Biblical prophecy, the Islamic Caliphate, is being revived and soon we’ll see the ten kings with the Mahdi as their leader. All of that perfectly fits with the time immediately before the return of the Lord.

Put all those points together and we’re incredibly close…

  26. Hi Joel,

Just curious what makes you suspect the return of Jesus in 25 years.
It took centuries to evangelize the developed world we have today. Is it possible for the great commission to be completed in the toughest parts of the world, within 25 years?

    Thanks!

  27. Initially I was afraid of the O.T. God. But as I learned & studied scripture God placed a deep love in my heart for Israel. With study I learned that God will return FOR Israel. I’m still very confused re rapture (pre, mid, post trib) however. But I’m no longer confused about Isreal’s place in this. We are blessed by their blessing….they are God’s original covenant people.

  28. Joel please explain Ezekiel 29:11-12 it says the Lord will make it desolate for 40 years? If that’s the case that has yet to happen so will this be fulfilled before Christ return?
If so we are still at least 40 yrs from his return?

  29. The primary context of the prophecy was fulfilled during Ezekiel’s day when Nebuchadnezzar defeated Egypt. The interval between Egypt’s overthrow by the Babylonians and their eventual deliverance by Cyrus, was forty years.

  30. I’m trying to read the bible and have ask for understanding, wisdom, faith and prophecy but for the life of me I can’t understand about the rapture when or even if it will happen I hope it happens pretrib because I really don’t want to go thru tribulation but I’m afraid it won’t be till right before the 1000 yr reign. I also think unfortunately the US and especially NYC fits the whore of Babylon. Do you think I’m close in any of my thinking?

    Thx

  31. Joel I have another question. I was raised a baptist and was always told once saved always saved I don’t know if I believe that or not, I fell away for a long, long time and have recently come back to Christ I will have to say whenever I would do something wrong there was always a little voice that said this is wrong so I know God never left me so my question is can a christian fall away from doing right and still go to heaven? In the same vein of questioning like you I have a strong feeling we are the generation of the antichrist if there is no pre trib rapture have we already been sealed by God and won’t be able to take the mark? Or even tho we are christian could we still take the mark?

    Blessings Kaye
