1. Joel, Thanks for making these videos and sharing them with us. I really enjoy your hands on, detail oriented approach. You’re helping to encourage me to studying scripture, history and current events on my own and you are sharpening me up ! God will bless you and your family and keep you all safe, healthy and well provisioned.I’m sure of this.
   Question: What if Jesus rules the earth during the thousand years, from the atmosphere, where the enemy now rules over the kingdoms of this world ? Please don’t shut me off. Just because this has never been taught before, does not mean it doesn’t deserve a fair hearing. Isn’t the timeline of the prophetic portion of the Book of Revelation about 1000 years long ? And doesn’t that Book declare that the kingdoms of this world becomes the kingdom of Christ when he is still sitting on a cloud (and shortly before Satan is cast down to earth)? So The Lord’s ruler-ship comes into force even before the Lord’s feet touch the earth. Is there some overarching reason why his rule from that position in the atmosphere could not continue throughout the following 10 centuries ? Satan has ruled the earth from there for thousands of years already, has he not ? If knowledge must increase, old outdated understandings must decrease. This is the way of all progress.I think it is possible to reconcile all the other prophecies with this understanding. I hope I’m not being rude. This is your platform after all, and I am only your guest. I surely don’t mean to cause you uncalled for aggravation. Who needs that ?. But if I come to your August debate in Oklahoma City, could I give you a paper with an explanation of why I have believed this is true for a few years now. I would look forward that.

   Been in a pretty long forum thread discussion concerning Supercessionism vs Resorationism. Not surprising, no one on the other view can answer responsibly the issues of Romans 11 & Acts 1. But they quoted 2 Commentators on Acts 1 who explain away Jesus not correcting the apostles in Acts 1. Can you help me in answering this question:

   THEM: But the question remains can you find any Christian/christian source within the first 1,000 years of Christianity that agree’s with your eschatology ?

   Did anyone Christian/christian interput the scriptures conserning Physical Israel the way that yo do, before the time of Moses Maimonides ?

5. First of all, its a transparently fallacious argument. Arguments from silence can (possibly) infer something, at best. But they are never conclusive and certainly should not be looked to as a foundational argument. Unfortunately, replacement theology was the first major error to sweep much of the Church. As such it is hard to find any early writers who had a solid restorationist theology. Mind you, we have some scholarship which points to the presence of Jewish groups, but these were largely suppressed by the latter dominant Constantinian Church. Even to the point where simply honoring Sabbath or any of the festivals was labeled as heretical. Such unbiblical nonsense. Paul knew none of this. The fruit of this theology is 2000 years of bloodshed and it the great shame of the Church. In this case, rather than argue the fathers, all one must do is look to the Scriptures. Its beyond clear. Walk through my “Until I Make Your Enemies a Footstool,” power points below and it is patently clear. Many fundamentally twist the meaning of several verses, particularly Galatians 3:16 and then retroactively reinterprets the numerous clear OT passages to support its replacement theology. It’s not simply wrong, its grievous, dangerous, and potentially soul damning. Paul was very clear on this.

6. Thanks for the great videos and books. I have thoroughly enjoyed them and I have many opportunities to speak with Muslims about Christ and they have helped me a great deal. I am looking forward to the debate with Tommy Ice. (Keep it clean!!!) I may try to get down to the Prayer House later this summer as I live in Washington DC. I didn’t know the best way to post a question to you so i thought i would leave it in the comment section. So here it is: In another video of yours you were discussing the temple mount and how a rabbi indicated that the next temple could be built onto or adjacent to the Dome of the Rock. You seem to think that would be unlikely as do I, but have you heard about the theory that the temple mount is Fort Antonia and that the site of the temple is a bit over and off to the side.    While this may or may not be the case, it would have no bearing on the coming Temple, as no one believes this among the Jews or scholarly community. I also think Revelation 11 shows us that it is presently on the Temple Mount. That said, if it is correct, it could apply to the Messianic/millennial Temple.

I have actually been blessed in some pretty long forum thread discussions on the matter, because the Lord has helped me refine/define more acutely what I have always seen & sensed in the scriptures generally. 14. I love this. Explaining how Israel begin in safety and end up in captivity makes it so clear. I remember being thrilled when you previously highlighted this.
    The thing i find hard to explain, is that Isaiah 10 seems to say that it is actually God himself that raises up the ac, i realise that the ‘hunters and fishers’ are referring to the end time regathering of the Jews at the end of the trib period. I just find it really difficult to comprehend that God puts that ‘thought’ into ac’s head. Still, i suppose i dont have to.

16. You’re right, and how God works is mostly beyond our (my) understanding. But one day we will ‘get it’.

Yeah, and it reminds me of when the prophets spoke of “God hardened pharoah’s heart”, or “I the Lord have raised up a treacherous people (the Assyrians)”, or how He raised up the Babylonians, etc. He’s totally sovereign, so while He doesn’t “tempt people to sin” everything must cross His desk & it all ultimately serves His purposes. Oh the manifold wisdom of God!

18. Joel–you are a breath if good air–thanx so much! An unrelated question that hangs along side you fresh perspective, was the Candaces’ treasurer from Ethiopia in Jerusalem because there was reports of the Messiah’s return, an opertunity to return the ARC?

    Since we believe that the Bible teaches a resurgence of the islamic caliphate as the eighth kingdom/empire of the beast (Rev. 17) which will be the kingdom of the Antichrist. What then is your take/view on the mark of the beast (Rev 13)? Was wondering if you agreed with Walid shoebat on this subject as he teaches it in his book “God’s war on terror”? I’m very thankful for your book “Mideast Beast” which is excellent but, it needs a new edition with the inclusion of teaching on “the mark of the beast” and “the woman” (Rev 17). I have your teaching through your video series on “the woman” but, it would be nice to have it in writing. Thanks for your teaching it’s been a tremendous blessing to the body of Christ. I can see how the prophecy that that was given to you has been coming to pass and will continue. Blessings!!

    I am actually working on a book about Mystery Babylon as we speak. I do not agree with Walid on the Mark of the Beast issue. In short, the kind of cursive Greek that somewhat resembles Arabic was not used until at least the fourth century. Therefore it is not possible that a Greek scribe saw the words Bismillah and mistook it for Greek etc. The Greek used in the earliest NT documents would have been more like SIX HUNDRED SITY SIX. It bore no resemblance to Arabic whatsoever.

21. Hi Joel,

    Regarding the people who make up the post-Millenial army of Gog and Magog in Revelation 20; I have heard it explained that the multitude of people across the world who had recieved the mark of the beast would still be alive during the millenial reign of Jesus Christ (they are included in those nations who will have to bring Him tribute as per Zechariah 14:16-18).

    However they would be unable to recieve Him as Lord and Saviour on account of having recieved the mark of the beast, and also because His physical presence on earth would negate the need for faith, without which there can be no salvation – “we are saved by grace through faith.” (Eph. 2:8)

    In any case, the question is if it these multitutdes of (Islamic?) peoples and nations who recieved the mark of the beast, that Satan gathers at the end of the millienuim. They could still be geographically the same nations that comprised the pre-millienial anti-christ Gog-Magog alliance. They would have had to pay tribute to Jesus Christ in Jerusalem for the period of the Millenium (as per Zechariah 14:16-18). However, at the end of the Millenium, being anti-christic by nature, they are again decieved by satan, and rally together for one final rebellion.

    Joel, do you think this a viable explanation of the peoples who make up the post-Millenial Gog-Magog invasion in Revelation 20?

    I would love to know you thoughts.

22. This is interesting, though there are some problems. The Scriptures sen to indicate that whoever takes the mark will be cast into the lake of fire. Beyond this, simply because Jesus is on the earth, this would not negate the possibility of people coming to faith. People showed faith in Him while He was on the earth the first time. That said, Rev. 20 seems to indicate something far broader than the slightly more limited regional description in Ezekiel 38-39. An interesting suggestion however that may have some degree of merit.

    I find it interesting that Zechariah 14:16-18 (speaking of the 2nd Coming / Millenial reign of Jesus Christ) suggests that there will be nations (Egypt is specifically mentioned) that will refuse come to Jerusalem to give tribute to Jesus the reigning King of kings – but how can this be? Surely those nations could not be the redeemed saints of Jesus Christ!? Unless they are the people and nations left behind by the anti-christ after he is defeated by Jesus Christ.

    In any case, I do agree that there may be some problems with this position.

25. I really enoyed this episode, Joel! The peace about “the time of security” was not much clear to me because the Russian Bible doesn’t state these passeges in this way. So it was a new prospective to me. Now I think that Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:3 refers to the same passages in the Old Testament that you were talking about. It really sheds light on what Paul was teaching about the second coming of Christ. Alan Kurschner unpacks this issue very well in his book, and I just could not see this tie to the Old Testament because of the translation of these passages of the Bible in Russian. Thanks a lot!

27. Well, that does make sense. I had read it as Israel being at peace so therefore it must be post millennium. Thanks for pointing out details I had missed and misunderstood. Always looking and learning.
