  1. Joel,

This message is both timely and beautiful.

Timely because darkness is in the world and a great storm is coming.

Beautiful because perfect love casts out fear.

A heart that is empty of God’s perfect love is a heart filled with fear.

  2. So glad to have finally found your ministry….have heard wonderful things, and continue to cover those of you who are called to share the Truth in these dark, deceptive, yet extremely hopeful and exciting days!

Shalom, shalom, and may you and all Yerushalayim be at Peace.

  3. I went to a trip where we went into Islamic quarters after bringing the gospel to someone from India who had been having visions of Christ. I encountered some amazing things on the trip. However, I felt that Satan didn’t care if people joined Islam or hated muslims. He won either way. This was a very spiritual trip and I am secure in the fact that Satan loves for us to give in the the bitter root of hate. Good work and thanks

  4. Joel,

At the 6 minute mark you displayed scripture that did not match what you read out yourself.

The passage displayed was actually 2 Timothy 2:3-4 but it was labelled as being 4 Timothy 4:3-4. This was probably just an oversight by either you or the team helping you to produce the video. I hope that you will be able to go back and edit the video to fix this small error.

    Shalom

  5. Joel, I found your website a few months ago and love what you are doing. Thank you for your ministry and I absolutely enjoyed the POWERFUL video, A letter from of the People of the Cross to ISIS! I’m a Christian and my best friend is a Muslim. I have been praying for her, her family and the Muslims for Jesus to come into their dreams and visions. Here is some good news, earlier today my friend sent me a message stating her father is reading a bible and taking notes! He got the bible from a hotel room where they stayed for a few days. They just came back from their trip in Maryland. I have been witnessing to my friend with Love. God Bless You!

  6. Deut 23:7 “You shall not detest an Edomite, for he is your brother; you shall not detest an Egyptian, because you were an alien in his land.”

As I understand it, Edomites are the brothers of Jacob, Arabs and mostly Muslim, and although I am not of Abraham’s blood line, I am adopted through Christ into His family, and therefore understand the command to not hate our Arab muslim brothers, but rather love them into the Kingdom, while leaving ultimate judgment to the Savior

  7. Great reminder for all churches.
    >>>>Government officials, Law Enforcers and Judges who forgive others including the enemies “have a clear mind and wisdom to maintain justice in the country” <<<<

  8. Thank you again Joel. I am loving your teachings from The Underground. This has been my greatest spiritual struggle this year. When I see what is taking place in the world and our own country I get angry and want to react in fear and rage, but when I take these things to God in prayer I know he is filling me with his love for these people and tears for the church’s falling away.

I understand we don’t have in it ourselves to love the way that he would have us to, but he does it in us through his spirit. Amen to your message, this too is what he is laying on my heart; he is calling us to love. The spirit of strength he has given is love. As Paul said love is what will remain after all other gifts of the spirit fade. Blessings!

  9. Hi Joel, Heard your message given today at El Shaddai Ministries in Tacoma, WA. So glad to meet you (online). Love your heart and so thankful for your teaching. I will be reading all of your books, following your teachings and keeping you in my prayers. I thank my God for you and others like you who teach with wisdom, love and understanding God’s heart for His creation! Looking forward to learning and growing with your teachings. God keep you safe and strong and thank you for what you are doing!!!And helping the rest of us to do also. Blessings, blessings and more blessings be with you.

  10. Beautiful. Thanks for the reminder to honestly examine our own hearts and our thinking.

Just one additional thought. In order not to be among those whose love grows cold, it`s so important that as we examine ourselves honestly, we also remind ourselves that we are the Lord`s beloved even in our weakness. This is what enables us to stay motivated to continue turning towards Him and pressing on to grow in love.

Good job, much appreciated. Love the video from the People of the Cross. At our House of Prayer (led by an Arabic Christian) we regularly pray for Muslims.

  11. Joel- This was a great episode. You are spot on about the deception. You know the video you showed and your comments really challenged me and made me look at myself. As much as we see what Islam is and the evil religion it is, we cannot forget under those ISIS masks are men who are deceived and lost who need the know The LORD Jesus Christ as their Savior and need to saved. Hate the satanic antichrist religion, but love the Muslim. Love those precious souls. I am reminded of Isaiah 19: 24-25 “24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:25 Whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.” Thank you again for ministry Joel and challenging me, to love and pray for the Muslims!

  12. Joel:

Please explain when you say many believers will fall away. Are you implying that believers can lose their salvation in the end times?

  13. Afo:

The idea of “losing salvation” can seem to be at odds with the idea of eternal security (“perseverance of the saints” in a Calvinistic understanding). I do not think think these ideas are incompatible. We see illustrations of God’s ongoing faithfulness to believers in passages like John 10:28-29 and Ephesians 4:30. Hebrews 12:1-2 also shows this principle, but also notice how we are expected to persevere in faith in this passage. God alone saves through grace, and we should expect to see an ongoing, but imperfect, perseverance of faith along with visible spiritual fruit. This does not mean that the minute a believer does not display faith and accompanying works they have lost their salvation, only to regain it a few minutes later. I do think a Calvinistic soteriology is very helpful to understand this principle, and Jesus makes this clear: he knows his sheep and they hear his voice and follow him. He will ensure that all of his sheep are fully sealed and sanctified.

The Bible makes it clear that many professing Christians will indeed apostatize. In this case, I would say that their faith was not true, for if it was they would not fall away. Again, if we view this from man’s point of view, we will be confused because man is imperfect and we won’t always SEE evidence of faith in our lives. But God will complete his work if we are his.

  14. Actually was reading a statement earlier and it made me think about about false Messiahs quite differently. It may even deem one as “a savior” though he may not think himself quite as Jesus. Karl Marx or Keynes for example. Sadly, Keynes has indeed infected some trains of thought in Christianity. I think this is exactly what you are getting at Joel in to not be misled. There is nothing new under the son though many think their idea is novel.

  15. hi joel,
well its made me think long and hard and led to some decisions…without going into too much detail. but for the best.

we really need to be more aware of what you were going on about with love going cold. its like speeding. easy to do if you’re not aware of it.

  16. I recently finished reading “The Islamic Antichrist” & “Mideast Beast” and I thought they were really good. I like many others had believed in a Revived Roman Empire. However, I believe your arguments make more sense and more importantly are biblically sound. One area that I had a question about was about you view on the rapture of the church. I believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. While I don’t remember you specifically addressing this in your books, I got the impression you don’t believe in a pre-tribulation rapture and was hoping you could explain why if that is the case.

  17. Hi Scott,

The most simple reason is because I do not see any pre-trib rapture in the Scriptures. I see just the opposite. Additionally, we find any belief in any pre-trib rapture in any of the early writings of the Christians, until perhaps 700 years after the apostles. And even then, it is questionable at best. Instead, they all clearly believed that we will face the Antichrist. Regardless, Scripture is my barometer. Now, for clarity, many great men believe in the pre-trib rapture, and this is not to insult any of them, nor is it to sow division. I simply do not see it.

    Blessings,
    Joel

  18. Dear Brother:
I feel convicted by this message and video. I will be praying for our Muslim brothers and sisters and for your ministry and will share your messages where I can on my blog if I have your permission.

  19. Great talk Joel. Amazing that Jesus loves those that kill Him and His children. The video re – loving ISIS is just so what God would do. Just a question – I work among muslims and feel wrong towards the Lord if I use the term allah for God – given the name Yhwh in the Bible. But I loved the idea of walking into their homes everyday and saying salem allah koum [excuse my transliteration spelling]. what’s your take on this, what word do you use? Cal

  20. Cal,

Most Americans use the word God to refer to YHVH or Jesus to refer to Yeshua. And of course, Arab Christians use Allah for God. I have no problem doing so in an Arabic context. In the case of simply saying as-salamu alaykum, I do use it, though I think in many countries, a simple salam could be used as well, or Ahlan wa Sahlan or even just Ahlan. But this can be different from country to country. Its always good to ask local Christians what they think.

Obviously, we always seek to make a distinction between the God of the Bible and the God of the Qur’an.

My real problem is when American preachers use Allah in an English context. I have seen this done quite a few times and I see no reason to do so whatsoever.

    I hope this helps.

    Blessings,
    Joel

  21. Thanks Joel for such a timely message. With everything happening with ISIS, and in our country where sin seems to be celebrated every time we turn around, I myself have been filled with anger at times. While I have prayed for Muslims to be converted, and for our politicians to receive wisdom, I certainly haven’t done it enough, and I know my heart has not been right. It truly is tough to love our enemies. But your message was a good wake up call and I will strive to serve Him who showed mercy upon us while we were yet sinners. Thanks again for all you do.

  22. I’d not seen that video message to ISIS from the people of the cross before. Wow. So powerful! That’s proof of God’s love, to give them the truth like that. I agree with everything that you say, brother Joel. Even the worst murderers deserve to be forgiven, if they repent and turn to God through Yeshua the Messiah. Thank you. Be blessed always.

  23. Hi Joel, I just came across your website today and ended up watching all three of your underground videos. Wow! Spot on! I love your balanced approach to how we understand end time events and how we live our lives accordingly. Thank you so much for your willingness to speak out on these important issues!

  24. “…and such were some of you.” That video and your message brought me up short. Being steeped in truth for 40 years almost fooled me into thinking I was always true, or am now. I have nothing I did not receive. Thank you for the wake up call!

  25. Tried to listen to Pt 2 of The Underground Church, but was given message “Blast! You can’t listen to this on your device.” I listened to Pt 1 on my iPad without a problem. So, what has changed? Tks.

  26. Thanks, Joel. I would love to post that “Message from the People of the Cross” video on my Facebook page. Can you email out a link to us?
Your warnings about growing cold and not reflecting God’s heart to Muslims was very convicting, and I thank you for it. It feels good to repent and get back in harmony with the Holy Spirit. Paul said in Ephesians 3 that comprehending Jesus’ love for humanity is the way to be filled with God’s fullness – and “God is Love”…

  27. I recently discovered your ministry. I’ve very grateful to you. Your message brought me to tears. I have no hatred but fear instead. It seemed justified, but after listening to your message I realized how unChristlike it is. thank you and God Bless and Keep you.

  28. Joel, thank you so much for this video! My heart grieves for what is going on in most churches today – the preaching of feel-good messages rather than the truth you have shared. Sadly, I believe one of the primary reasons pastors don’t touch the subject of deception and falling away is because of the teachings of Calvinism (particularly the part which denies man’s free-will in salvation – and, instead, states it’s all about God’s sovereign election). This instills a response of, “So sad…. but oh well… he/she must not have been chosen” when someone drifts away into a pattern of willful sin and their love for Christ grows cold. “That wouldn’t have happened if he/she was really saved..” While I know many fine genuine Christians who believe this doctrine, I personally think it could be one of Satan’s finest schemes in all of history, because of how it is designed around clear truths – yes, – we are born depraved and spiritually separated from God. Yes, we can do nothing to earn salvation and are desperately in need of God’s grace, etc… But Satan has taken those truths and twisted them into lies such as that Christ died only for a select few and the rest were always destined for hell. No. God died for ALL of us and invites ALL of us into restored relationship with Him. But it is up to each of us to have ears to hear… He has given us free-will to reciprocate His love. It is no more simple than that. True relationship is reciprocal.. Because He personifies perfect love, God does not force us to remain with Him – we are free to continue abiding in Him or to harden our hearts against Him, allow our love to grow cold, and forsake Him….
Thank you so much for your willingness to speak uncomfortable words of truth. Including as well the difficult part about how God has called us to love our enemies – even those who may “persecute us and say all manner of evil against us falsely….” We are not to be overcome by evil, but to “overcome evil with good.” This is God’s way… It always has been.
