  1. Questions…why would Saudis kill a reporter in the Saudi Consulate? Seems that would not be a very smart thing to do, especially for hired professional assassins. Plus, it seems weird that all of a sudden, Pastor Brunson is freed from Turkey to come home, Random coincidence? Hmmm…questions.

  2. Joel,
Thank you so much for your easy-to-understand summary of the Middle East geopolitical setting. These sorts of reviews are extremely helpful. I’m very curious, especially in light of your book, what is your thought on Neon possibly being mystery Babylon?

  3. Thank you for your perspective on this, Joel. Until all the facts come out we shouldn’t be jumping to conclusions.

On another note, will there be additional videos in the “King of Shadows” series? The three so far are just awesome. I’ve watched them over and over.

  4. Joel,
This was very helpful. Thanks. I really liked your Daniel 11 perspective of the king-of-north and the king-of-south, You’ve shown the king of the south to be a moderate block and the king-of-north to be a radical block who are radical enemies of Israel. I know you place Ezekiel 38 as post-trib. And I agree with you that Ezekiel 39 must be post-trib. But it’s interesting that these two blocks of power, one radical and one moderate, seem also to be present in Ezekiel 38. Very helpful – thanks.

  5. I know I am preaching at the choir here, but here is an interesting clip of As’ad AbuKhalil talking about Khashoggi’s lifetime support for Wahhabi Islam:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRG8lA3v0sg
He argues you can’t explain who Khashoggi is without looking at what he has written over his lifetime in the Arabic newspapers…

  6. I don’t understand why the US needs to get involved in this. After all, Khashoggi is not an American citizen, he was in exile.

It seems to me that it is an issue between Saudi Arabia and Turkey…
