Wow, how amazing it is to get to see this! Thanks so much for posting this encouraging and sorely needed message about the coming King. Also, a few moments as you joked around had me laughing pretty hard. (Not that that’s of any importance alongside the return of Our Lord, but it really was a bonus.)
Thanks for pointing to this video Joel. I’ve just had my morning coffee and started my day watching this, fantastic! I hope more of the churches where you speak will place their videos online because unless you plan to come to the Netherlands in Europe this is the only way I can follow your teachings. And you’re so right, the gospel of the kingdom is so much more than just being saved in case you die. The coming age and world rule of Jesus Christ is almost never preached, even though this was what Christ preached when He was among us!
I wonder how many other biblically accurate sermons on the end-times were preached in the USA on that Sunday? What would have been the effect if every church had preached a similar message?
But, the Church is asleep which of course was prophesied by Jesus
Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. Mt 25:1-5
“They all slumbered and slept”; both wise and foolish so we shouldn’t be surprised. But we need to nudge them as much as possible to wake them up. He comes like a thief. Thanks for doing your part Joel. Hopefully I’ll be fishing along side you on that blessed river bank someday.
Joel,
You were made for such a time as this. Sid Roth says God hand picked you. As a younger man, certain people had spoken about your future specifically and now God is bringing it all together.
Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 2:15 to be bold enough to teach the words of Jesus correctly. Keep doing what your doing, you’re a breathe of fresh air.
Stay humble

Thanks Taryn for that link, just watched it.
Something in that talk that spoke to me, was that simple truth has indeed become to simple, its as though unless you are an intellectual and easily
understand the Greek and Hebrew, your thoughts are invalid. While i do
appreciate my strongs concordance, i believe that Gods word is within the reach of all our understandings, but there seems to be a trend towards new ‘revelation’ that only those who are fluent in greek can somehow see: eternal punishment being a prime example.
I do believe as Joel stated that we should simply read Gods word and believe it, it really is that simple. Yes God gave us teachers, but i am very glad that His spirit is indeed the great teacher.
Blessings in Him
Thanks Taryn Daley I will surely watch those video’s!
Joel, I really enjoyed this wonderful teaching. This is what I refer to as “rounded out” teaching…very different from “myopic” teaching. The scripture says we desire to live pure lives because of the hope we have. You do such a good job of providing the details of that hope. Also, the joking around doesn’t hurt either. Take care.
Reminds me of an old Charlie Peacock song “I want to live like heaven is a real place!” Let us march forward with the reality of the Kingdom in our hearts and the Gospel on our lips.
Joel,
Thank you for posting the link to that video, I enjoy reading your books and articles, but it’s a welcome and needed experience to hear the conviction in your voice, and to see the how you inspire others with your hope. I’m really looking forward to your upcoming documentary. Good luck and God bless you.
Great message Joel! Clear and concise.
Joel
I do apologise, it would have been more courteous for me to say, that while i am grateful for the teachers God has provided, ultimately He is our teacher. I may have sounded like i don’t value teachers, which i certainly do,so sorry if i sounded a bit blunt,i wish you the Lords blessings on your efforts in Him.
No offense at all Linda. Didn’t even consider it.
I always say that a good Bible teacher is one who directs you to better understand the words of Scripture. One who encourages and inspires you to turn to the Scriptures to learn more yourself, as opposed to those who make you rely on them for their elite knowledge or special revelations etc.
Joel,
The teaching is great but so are the testimonies. A person’s testimony is something Jesus clearly uses to further his message. Mark 16:20
For everybody’s viewing here is your Saturday meeting.
Wow! Now I need to make a correction. I did not mean to say ( but ) I meant to say ( and ) so are the testimonies.
Question: This has confused me for a while. What will happen to those of us that are alive on earth and live during the 1000 year reign of Christ. Will we age and die? Because there are no wars and lions are lying with lambs.
aamer,
If we are in Christ, we will receive our immortal, glorified bodies. Those who are not in Christ when He comes back, (if they are not killed) will simply live better and longer lives in their natural bodies.
Those who go into the Millennial Kingdom in the natural body will live tremendously long lives, as they did before the Flood. Most of the effects of the curse will be reversed.
I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people; the voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her, nor the voice of crying. No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; for the child shall die one hundred years old, but the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed. They shall build houses and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat; for as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, and My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. (See: Isaiah 65:19-22)
There will still be the capacity to rebel, as we see God in Zechariah warning the people of Egypt not to forego worshiping Jesus during the Feast of Tabernacles, or else they will receive no rain. (Zech. 14)
Joel Thank you so much for such an uplifting message. We really miss seeing you. We need for you to come back soon so you can teach others your wonderful, encouraging and Bibical correct message.
Actually for me, Isaiah 65 that Nick Quoted, shows that there actually is
a millennial period, in v17 God references a new heaven and earth where death is still present v20. However when the New Jerusalem comes from heaven there will be no more death rev 21v4.
Which i think adds up to Jesus returning and reigning until he puts all things under his feet, the last enemy being death 1cor 15v25-26.
Which also matches Johns mention of a thousand year reign in rev 20v4.
I love it!
I enjoyed this teaching, thank you for posting it
Joel,
I found your great, great, great, great, great grandfather…. Not only are you following in his footsteps, you look just like him, lol!!!
