In light of discussion concerning the rapture and its possible correlation to the Biblical Fall Feasts, I wanted to share what I had written on this subject for my own study some years ago. It is a loose time-frame of the Biblical Fall Feasts with various prophetic motifs from the Scriptures. I am not dogmatic on this matter and certainly still working through the subject myself. Thanks for sharing Joel. Just as Jesus fulfilled the spring feasts to the exact day and hour, he will fulfill the fall feasts at his second coming. See Michael Rood or 119 Ministries for detail studies of the fall feasts. God bless.
J.
RBC Ministries has two excellent booklets (PDF links below) on “The Holidays of God”, one of the spring feasts, and one the fall feasts. I found them to be very interesting and informative.

Joel, I really appreciate your simple straight forward teaching with no pretense.
Nothing short of a heart attack could keep me from hearing you when you were in Earl, N.C. Unfortunately that is what happened. However I am home after open heart surgery and making a good recovery.
Sorry, I missed you, but some of my bible study group were there and got me a set of your tapes.
Thanks!
Hey there O.A.,
Yes, I heard about your trial. I cannot imagine that recovery from open heart surgery is an easy thing. Lord bless you! My goodness. I’m so sorry to have missed you. Though I am happy you made it through. In due time, I’ll be back up in those parts I’m sure. Continue to have a good recovery my friend. BLessings!
Thank you for sharing the study Joel. Great information. If it is okay I will save it for future reference.
Regards,
Bill
7 Trumpets?
The 7 years of Feasts of Trumpets that occur during the Tribulation?
With the 7th year/7th Trump being the return of Christ?

The more you learn about how Jesus Christ is in all the OT sacrifices and feasts, the more obvious it is that He is Messiah. How can anyone deny this? What I also found mind-blowing, and something I didn’t know, in RBC’s study on the spring feasts is this:
“That final decisive plague came during the full moon of Nisan 14. Moses, the leader of the Jewish people, had instructed every Israelite home to sacrifice a lamb,
collect its blood—the biblical sign of life—and with a hyssop brush paint the lamb’s blood on the lintel and door posts of their houses. On the evening of that first Passover, the Lord visited Egypt as an angel of death. According to the Scriptures, the Lord took the life of every firstborn— people and livestock included—except where He found blood on the doorway. Only where there was blood on the doorway did He “pass over” and spare the life of the firstborn in that home.
“To understand the killing of the paschal (Passover) lamb, it’s important to know that in Egyptian society the lamb, or ram (a male sheep), represented a pagan god of the Egyptians named Amon (also spelled Amun, Amen, or Ammon). Amon, whose name means “hidden one,” was considered the king of the gods and the source of all life on heaven and earth. According to the Egyptian zodiac, Nisan was the chief month of this god, and the 15th of that month during the full moon was believed to be the apex of Amon’s powers.
“To the Egyptians, the killing of a lamb was a desecration of their religion! The Passover sacrifice was a direct challenge to their gods. The lamb was so sacred in Egyptian cult practice that the people of the land were forbidden to even touch a ram, let alone bring it into their home, slaughter it, roast, and then eat it as God commanded the Israelites to do. To the Egyptians the killing of a lamb was a desecration of their religion! The Passover sacrifice was a direct challenge to their gods. To the Jewish people, the same sacrifice fulfilled a promise of the Almighty:
“Against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.” Ex. 12:12
“On the celebrated day of Amon, and at the alleged peak of his powers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob not only overcame Pharaoh, but desecrated the worship of Amon and gave the Egyptian people reason to believe in the God of Israel.”
All I can say is, “Wow!!”
Thank you so much for sharing this, Joel. It was such a blessing to read all of the scriptures pertaining to the fall feasts and their meaning put together in such a comprehensive order. I am going to share this with my bible study girls.
Thank you and bless you again for your faithfulness in sharing the truths that the Holy Spirit has revealed to you. I pray you and your family are healthy and blessed.
The great multitude which no man could number in Revelation 7 is shown with palm branches in their hands which speak of the Feast of Tabernacles, or Feast of Ingathering. When one compares Rev. 8:3-5 with Leviticus 16:11-14 the Day of Atonement ceremony seems to be happening also. There is a possible reference to the Feast of Trumpets in Daniel 7:10, (a clear reference to the second coming of Christ) when: “the books are opened,” an event said to occur between Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement, a time referred to as the: “Days of Awe.” Zechariah 14 mentions the Feast of Tabernacles three times after the Lord has made His physical appearance in Jerusalem.
I can see the three Fall Feasts in the Scriptures concerning the end of time and the Lord’s return, I’m not dogmatic about it, bit I do see it.
Hey Joel, thank you very much for sharing this. It is great stuff! I have a few questions. I too have been of the opinion that the Bowls of Wrath are being poured out, while Jesus proceeds into the Holy Land with all his saints. There actually is an amazing parallel to that in the story of Joshua, a type of Christ, when he leads Israel into the promised land:
“And it happened, as they fled before Israel and were on the descent of Beth Horon, that the Lord cast down large hailstones from heaven on them as far as Azekah, and they died. There were more who died from the hailstones than the children of Israel killed with the sword.
12 Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel:
“Sun, stand still over Gibeon;
And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.”
13 So the sun stood still,
And the moon stopped,
Till the people had revenge
Upon their enemies.
Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day. 14 And there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the Lord heeded the voice of a man; for the Lord fought for Israel.” (Joshua 10:11-14)
Likewise Christ will lead Israel into the promised land, fight against wicked kings and judge them with the bowls, which also include the heatening up of the sun (maybe it will stand still again?) and huge hailstones falling from the sky.
Now, my questions are: Do you think Christ will return at the end of the tribulation and that his procession corresponds to the difference of 30 days betweens the end of the tribulation (1260 days / 3 1/2 yrs) and the time the abomination of desolation will be removed (1290 days according to Daniel)? Do you think that these things will happen during this time period?
What do you think about the trumpet judgments? Will they all occur in the last half of the tribulation? And the sixth seal? Will it be placed prior to the end of the second half of the tribulation?
I know these are very detailed questions, but I would be very interested in reading your opinion on these things…
God bless…

The pieces are moving, and nothing can undo the past, or stop them from moving.
I had the privilege of witnessing to a Jewish woman while I was on vacation recently and was able to share with her the realities of Jesus dying and rising and the Holy Spirit being poured out on HER beloved feast days.
It was very intriguing and meaningful to her.
It was the highlight of my trip.!!!
Hey Joel:
Great notes, thanks for sharing. So are you suggesting that a way to synthesize the pre-wrath and post-trib interpretations is that the dead in Christ are raised on the Feast of Trumpets and that the 7 bowls of the wrath of God are poured out on the Earth in the intervening 10 days before the Day of Atonement/Armageddon? If so, that’s insightful. It would fit the Biblical type of the plagues on Egypt and subsequent triumphal exodus under Moses. However, I have a couple of points that, if you have time, it may be helpful to clarify:
1.) You didn’t mention Zechariah 14:3 in your outline (although you cited all of the surrounding verses). When taken together with Acts 1:11, these verses would suggest to me that the first place Jesus will set His feet on Earth will be the Mount of Olives. This results in the Earthquake that splits the mountain and allows a trapped remnant to escape. However, in your outline, you seem to indicate that He will gather the captives from the surrounding nations first before marching up to Jerusalem. So how can we reconcile this verse? Is it that He could land on the Mount before going to execute judgment and deliverance in the surrounding nations? Or is it not necessary for him to land on the Mount of Olives first (like the Ascension in reverse) in order for the verse to be fulfilled? Obviously we can’t and won’t understand all of these things perfectly before they are fulfilled, but any insight you can share based on your study would be appreciated.
Also, would you suggest then that the “Last Day” of the age that Jesus mentions several times in John 6 when he will “raise up” those who are in Him is the Feast of Trumpets? This would make sense, considering that it is also the “chief day” of the new year, and also the only feast day for which the timing cannot be determined until the moon is observed (in accordance with Isaiah 13, Joel 2, Matthew 24, Revelation 6). But that would also mean that it’s a separate “day” so to speak from the “Day of the Lord,” 10 days later, and we would need to make a distinction between the events of those 2 days. I believe that’s a correct understanding of your notes, but please correct me if I’m wrong. Blessings to you.
Gabe
Joel, would you start a thread with this: http://shoebat.com/2013/11/10/christian-militias-rise-new-crusade-coming/
Thanks.
Gabe,
Rather than take a solid position on the things you have suggested, or asked about, I will have to leave my position up in the air. As I aid, I put these together a few years ago and would not consider it to represent my position in any dogmatic way. Perhaps in the next couple years, I can process it all more thoroughly.
Blessings!
David,
Ted is very strong on the idea that Christians should be taking up arms, not merely in nations such as Syria, but globally. While I do believe in the concept of just war, and fully believe that it is right to defend my little lambs, in my view the premiere call of the Christian to imitate Christ, take up our crosses, lay down our lives for our enemies as a sign of the mercy of God, I am compelled to take a far less militant and much more evangelistic approach than Ted.
Joel, I just watched an interview you had with Haran Yaha. I also watched an interview he had with some Jewish rabbis that were supposed to be from the Sanhedrin… Haran or Adnan, whatever his name is,lol, talks as if when the Mahdi comes he will (at the first) appear as if he’s a man of peace, saying that Christians, Jews and Muslims worship the same God and he represents that one God… So, my question is, when we speak of an Islamic Antichrist, do you think he will be like a radical jihadists dictator, or do you think he will appear as a deeply religious person, thus deceiving the world? Thanks!
Hi Adam,
The Bible says that he will be a deceiver initially pretending peace.

Hope you enjoyed Coeur d’Alene recently, Joel, and that the great state of Idaho was good to you. Come back soon… 🙂
Paul,
Had a blast. Thanks!
Hi Joel,
A follower & fan of your work from Oz. Thanks so much for your insightful and scholarly work into biblical prophecy, I really appreciate your honest and thought provoking work. I found your article on the ‘Jewish Feasts and the Return of the Lord’ fascinating and very helpful in seeing the OT feasts/mo’edims as shadows that point to Jesus as the ultimate fulfilment & meaning (Col.2:16-17; Heb.10:1 ),and a vital reminder of the fall feasts which will also be fulfilled at his second coming.
I was wondering about Daniel 12:11-12 – the significance of the 1335 days in relation to the Lord’s return, and if the fulfilment of Hanukkah comes into play (Feast of Temple Dedication & Lights)?
Daniel 12 mentions the period of 1290 days (1260 day tribulation +30 days), and a remaining 45 days–totalling 75 days. Are there 75 days from the ‘Day of Atonement’ to ‘Hanukkah’ (the Feast of Dedication)?
Will the 75 days cover: the period from Messiah’s return at the final trumpet to his triumphal entry into Jerusalem and the rededication of the temple when he takes his reign on David’s throne from Jerusalem? I would love to know your thoughts on this and the significance of the 75 days (after the 1260 day tribulation).
Many Blessings

(numbers 6:24-26)
Matt,
There is a strong possibility that those holidays do indeed fulfill those time-lines. Van Campen first introduced me to that idea in his book The Sign. Quite possible, as it does line up.
Blessings
Such an important topic.
I want to share a book I read a few years bck by the name of “Prophetic Harmony of the Lamp of God” by Jerome Gerbasi. It’s phenomenal and very closely mirrors a similar concept.
