Stavanger, Norway

I’ve just returned from Stavanger, Norway.  The nation, the city, and the people were absolutely beautiful. It was a pleasure and an honor to meet with the people of Salem Church as well as several visitors to mutually encourage one another in the LORD. We had three days of meetings discussing the return of Jesus, the end times, loving Muslims, current events in the Middle East and how we should be living in light of all these things. In the famous peace monument above, three enormous bronze swords memorialize the battle of Hafrsfjord in the year 872, when Harald Hårfagre united Norway into a single kingdom. In my brief visit, I felt a genuine connection to Norway and the Church there and expect to return.
