1. Thank you for posting this. I do agree with your answers to the questions put to you. I do have questions regarding the millennial reign and the temple. With Jesus being our ultimate sacrifice, will sacrifices be “reinstated” at this temple? I cannot see this knowing what Jesus went through to fulfill God’s purpose for us. There should be no need to have sacrifices any more. Thank you Joel.

2. I know you believe that the false prophet will still be Muslim but I am still not sure about this….what about the great falling away. Something of late that syncretism with moderate aspects could still happen via the pope. Original authority in the early church was not from Rome but Constaninople and think it is not out the range of possibility. Also new archeological findings are saying that Gobleki Tepe in Turkey was where the first religious development in history occurred. Would really feed into some sort of New Age syncretism.

   I am not opposed to this idea. It is certainly possible.

4. Casey and Joel, I agree, the Bible only tells us about the unholy ministry of the False Prophet, and that he comes out of the “land.” This leaves a wide possibility of who it might be. In my understanding the land is Israel. If the False Prophet is “ISA”, the Muslim Jesus, this would match perfectly as they believe Isa was the historic Jesus and born in Israel in his first coming. 5. I’ve gotten to the place, where some-things in Gods word i am happy to leave on the shelf knowing that in time, God will bring understanding. Im very greatfull to now understand that we will not be spared the tribulation,(unless we die).

   I realise that God obviously will not pour out his wrath on his people, and that some people say that all the plagues ect in revelation don’t happen until Jesus comes back, thus supporting that view, which is fine.

   However, the two witnesses in rev 11 have power to bring drought, turn waters into blood, and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.(Very similar to what some call the day of the Lords wrath). But surely the two witnesses also perform Gods wrath before the people? from which we will be saved, as Israel in Goshen.

   Just wondering how some might distinguish the two, a plague is a plague after all ? sorry if i sound awkward, i realise this has been spoken of much, but no one seems to mention the plagues called down by the two witnesses. Thanks.

   I think it will be as in Egypt, the plagues were poured out while the Israelites were present, yet they were spared in Goshen. This is the Goshen principle, and I think in many ways, it will apply in the past days as well.

7. Thanks Joel, i do believe the Goshen principle will stand during the end times. Just before watching your clip, a sister was telling me how Isaiah 17 was presently being fulfilled, i said i thought it was for end times, so i appreciated that piece too. God is good.

   Can you explain the timing of Christ’s “visit” to earth in Rev 14:1Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)?

   14 Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads.

   It seems like this is a visit to earth before the “second” coming.

9. Nelson Walters, I’m the same page as you.

   The subservient ‘prophet’ Isa who causes the world to pledge allegiance to the Mahdi (the Antichrist) matches the Biblical story very well.

   1 – Muslims can ‘suffer’ and put up with Christians not converting to Islam and just paying the Jizya so long as ‘Jesus’ doesn’t come back to correct the Christians. You see, from their perspective the Christians don’t really know better, but once the Lord himself comes back and Christians still refuse to recant and follow Islam, then the Jizya will be cancelled, because then the Christians will be not true Christians, but disrespecting the true ‘Jesus’. That’s when the great tribulation kicks off and Isa goes around beheading Christians.

   2 – If you’re going to pretend to be Jesus, you need to be Jewish, and most Jews are in Ha’arets (the land), while the antichrist comes out of the sea (the Gentile world).

   3 – Revelation says the false prophet has horns like a lamb (the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world i.e. Jesus, but speaks like a dragon (Satan).

   Both Islam and the Bible portray the false prophet (which Muslims call the true prophet Jesus) coming shortly (a few years) after the Antichrist (Mahdi).

10. Hey Joel, when you get a chance (LOL) can you expand on who the Prince mentioned in the last chapters of Ezekiel is? Most Jews apply these scriptures to Messiah and is why they say Jesus cannot be the Messiah. You mentioned to me previously that you thought it might be David. However, after I thought about it further, I had further questions. For instance, since David would be in a resurrected body as well, how could he have children as the scriptures seem to indicate? Any further study you could provide on this subject would be appreciated. Thanks much.

    Good point. Perhaps it is simply an anointed son of David. Time will tell.
