Dear fellow Christians, I would like you all to click here to watch the latest ISIS recruitment video, and tell me what modern Christian movement or expression matches the zeal and commitment of this Satanic movement? Its going to take something far greater than what we are doing right now. Its going to take a prayer and missions movement unlike anything we have seen to date. Its going to take a return to the early Church theology of the cross and martyrdom. Its going to take a genuine Global Jesus Revolution.

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. (Ro 1:16)
It’s time for the church to be the church and body of Christ. Loving those around us and standing and shining against the darkness.
You couldn’t be more right. Meanwhile, the Chriatian Post is excited because Beyoncé has released some kind of song that has something to do with God. Or something. No word as to whether in this particular song she will invite demons to take control of her as she frequently does.
Just chilling, Joel! The unwavering commitment of these young men to wage Jihad all to bring about the Islamic Caliphate? We in the west truly do not understand and underestimate the true threat to what we are facing and the Church just sleeps soundly as if nothing is wrong. What will it take?
The terror of 9/11 briefly awoke the Church to prayer before God, but alas, it was temporary. This verse from the lips of Jesus was brought to my mind as I watched this video:
John 16:1-3
1 All this I have told you so that you will not fall away. 2 They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. 3 They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.
These verses are non stop in my head…
Blessings!
Something to consider: Anbar province and the Saudi Kingdom share a long border. If I were ISIS and was able to consolidate my gains in Anbar, what better way to legitimize my nascent caliphate and put my new arsenal and 450 million to use than to invade the prophet’s homeland and liberate it from the munafiqoon Saudi royals? Sound far fetched? I would have said that about Mosul and Tikrit 2 weeks ago. These guys will waste no time in going for the prize. Again, not a prediction, just something to consider…
In Him,
Gabe
These ISIS members bring home to me the reason why Paul calls the antichrist the man of sin and the lawless one. Basicly by waging jihad they are totally unrestrained and believe they have the right to break every commandment that God ever made. I most certainly do not envy their zeal in anyway.
The zeal I see is the zeal for sin. I see sinners who have found the perfect religious excuse to kill, rape, steal and wreak havoc anyway they want. None of them show any spiritual zeal that we should envy. There is no sacrifice for the common good, they do not live for God by praying and being an example of God’s love and by being a salt in the earth. They are willing to die for their god, and take the easy short way out. Not willing to live for God and serve their entire life in the service of God, being holy and spiritual and good to all man.
Other murderers and thieves that have nothing to do with faith show the same zeal. Prisons are full with people like these jihadis who got there by having zeal for a live full of sin, regardless of any god.
So very true Joel
And Christians shoot each other with doctrine.
With all my heart i would that i had a group of ‘Azuza’ brethren to be with, no more big bands and entertainment, just an alter where sin and pride are laid, and hungry hearts are humbled, that we may see that demonstration of the spirit that Paul spoke of.
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death philippians3v10
Frustration and disappointment have taught me that it is about us as individuals, we each have to come aside and be the ones to seek the Fathers face, He wont respect our persons, but He will grant His presence to hearts laid bare. (my problem is that my flesh keeps resurrecting)
May we be the ones that know our God and do exploits Dan11v32
Joel,
My only suggestion would be to read Revelation 6:9-11.
Its frustrating Joel. I am a pastor and short term missionary. I have set up seminars in my denomination on more than one occasion on Israel and Islam. I never have more than a handful to show up. With all due respect, all the church cares about is camp meetings, revivals and church plants where a dozen churches already exist. These are good things but lets not go overboard. In my experience, much of the western church simply could care less about these prophetic issues.. I so want to teach and educate, but it is difficult.
It is frustrating, but I’ve resigned to being content with those several that do show up. If these are the ones that the Lord has set aside, then I’m happy to work with these few. Keep up the good work and be encouraged. In due time, faithfulness will be vindicated. Blessings!
Robert,
I agree with you obviously, I do not envy that which they have zeal for, but their zeal and commitment for a lie is admirable in terms of what they are willing to lay down (their lives). If we are to rise to meet this challenge, then we must have a zeal and commitment that surpasses theirs, albeit for the truth.
Bless you brother
The world system of Satan has blinded and closed the ears of the West, esp America. We are the Laodiciean church mostly here for sure. Gospel for Asia is doing a good work in India and many are coming to Christ. Jesus told us if people don’t want to hear, dust off our shoes and move on. Most of us do this with the $$ we give so we can be fellow labours with Christ. 1Cor3 I believe if most true Christians would stop being so blind in just giving 10% to “their” 1st world church, we could do a whole lot better for Christ. We need to support brothers and sisters where the work is, and get away from our denominational biases. Most of the USA will not have ears to hear until our sysstem is brought down IMO. This will happen around the 2-4 seal, if not before. So if we want zeal and commitment, I can see no other way than praying for judgment on America, not blessings. Can you all see any other way? Just my 2 cents.
I agree with you on where the church is at regarding their expression and lack of zeal. I would like to point out, however, that Islam does not have spiritual forces of darkness working against their pursuit of zeal. On the contrary all the forces of darkness would love nothing more than to help them become set ablaze with passion for Islam… Us on the other hand, we face an uphill battle and have to wage spiritual warfare against those forces. Like I said I agree that the church has a long way to go, it’s just not quite as simple as “look at how zealous THEY are”…
perhaps a video full of God’s truth speaking directly to these jihad fellows could be produced and posted in a place on the web where these guys could see it, would be a way to reach them with God’s mercy and salvation message.
Hello Joel!
I have not posted in a while but I must remind you that the Anti-Christ is coming from Europe! (Islam will be completely wiped out way before the “Tribulation!” You, are really wasting your time looking to the middle east for any answers. If you would just avoid reading Daniel 2 and 7-12. Avoid the minor prophets for sure especially EZ. 38 and 39. You should spend more of your time looking at all the commentaries that have been written by every intelligent and holy people. I hope you will rethink your end times position and fall back in step with those who get their words from each other (Jer. 23). You will not make any real friends if you continue to expose Satan in everyone of your posts. You must learn to be a little more politically correct if you want to grow a “HUGE” ministry with many followers!
Well, actually I am continuing to be amazed at the american theologians that have followed the red herring and have no way of putting the final pieces in their proper places. I am very glad to see you and Alan working together, because his position will motivate people to get in their Bibles and see what they missed. Your position is what they missed. I pray for you often and hope to come to one of your joint conferences someday… God bless you my brother…
It makes me wonder what Father Zakaria Botros is communicating these days. From earlier this year: http://pjmedia.com/lifestyle/2014/02/14/middle-earth-as-the-middle-east/?singlepage=true
Hey Joel,
Your post prompted me to post this. You might be interested.

On the prayer movement – while there is much shallowness in Western Christianity, I also see a genuine hunger for obedience and “whatever it takes” among many in the prayer movement, and I am grateful for godly leaders who want God more than they want acclaim and who are hungry for the return of the Lord.
Keep reminding us of the truth, brother. I so appreciate your faithfulness.

I cant link directly to the posting but look for the posting that
Describes the “5 year plan for ISIS”.
It includes a map very similar to the map of the Caliphate that you have published.
Here’s another direct link to the info:

Not sure where the info originates from since these both reference a twitter account.
Joel,
I’ve been listening to Theodore Shoebat’s arguments for Christian militancy and also reading some of St. Augustine’s ideas on just war theory. Now, I have to admit as a Pastor I’m a little conflicted. Especially in the light of Christ’s command to “love your enemies”.
I was wondering what your thoughts were on this??
Although I think there is room for a just war, I think the present call to arms is the antithesis of what the Lord is saying in this hour. I think He is preparing His people to die, not conquer. The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing. Some trust in chariots…
DEAR JOEL WHAT IS BIBLE TALK ABOUT INDIA –UNDER PRIME MINISTER NARENDRA MODI?
India is not directly mentioned in the Bible nor in Bible prophecy specifically. It would be similar to the United States, simply outside the context of the Bible.
