    First we want to thank Nelson & Dave for posting the article.

    It’s no secret that your teachings have helped us understand End Times Biblical Prophecy.

    One concern, you always say that the United States is not in end times biblical prophecy. Would it be OK to tell people that the U.S.A is in Islamic end times prophecy?

    The reason I ask this is because this reminds me of when we would sit in church & listen for over an hour about end times prophecy but in the last 5 minutes the minister would say ‘good news you don’t have to concern yourself with any of this because we will all be raptured out before it starts’. I walked out thinking why did that guy waste an hour of my time if I don’t need to know this. I find out now I DO NEED to know this.

    I think the people in the United States won’t take this as serious as they should, thinking they will not be involved.

    My point in saying that the US is not in prophecy is not to say that we will not be involved, but to say that it is not clear how we will be involved. It is a matter of the emphasis of the Bible, (Israel, Middle East) rather than relating to whee it will be bad or not. My message is one entirely on application and making folks responds properly. I hope I do not convey the idea that we will somehow escape the hard times.

    I happened to tune into a discussion of your new book the “Islamic Antichrist” this evening on the radio. I am not sure of the program but you were being interviewed and it was Christian station. It was really only the last say 20 minutes Or less I caught wind of, regardless you mentioned looking at older maps and coming to the determination that the area the ac comes from is Turkey. I hope that I did not misunderstand you. Your interview ended and them some other program came on discussing the new Greece PM and his charismatic way, his intention to bridge peace, and his sudden appearance in the political scene. He’s an aetheist and I believe only peace will come w the conversion of hearts back to God. A revolution of love. I decided to take a peek online and read that his family has his roots in a village near Babaeski in Turkey. I’ve never written to an author but felt compelled to share.
    I am praying for peace and as the Blessed Mother has asked in her apparitions at Fatima and her longest apparations to the world through God’s grace in Medjugorje, to pray, fast, confess and receive the Holy Eucharist.

    In the tenth chapter of the book-Islamic Antichrist, it is concluded that the 7th King/kingdom is the Turkish/Ottoman empire that lasted for over 500 years. Upon this base a whole superstructure is subsequently built, including this empire being revived to become an 8th empire, and will be ruled by Antichrist.
    But I ask you to carefully read Rev 17:10. How long does it say the 7th head/kingdom/king will last?? Is it a long while?, over 500 years or does it say a little while?
    In the overall view of things could the little while that the 7th kingdom exists for, be the first 3.5 years of the 7 year tribulation?

    The comment concerning “a little while” does not pertain specifically or exclusively to the seventh, as many tend to read the text. Rather this comment pertains to the Antichrist and his final empire. Statements regarding the short duration of his career/rule/persecution are common throughout the Scriptures. In fact, only two verses later, it is made clear that this comment pertains to the final manifestation of this empire when it says:

    “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.”

    This “one hour” is an expression referring to the shortness of time which the AC will rule, and is merely a reiteration of the previous comment that he will rule for a “short time”. Notice that it is also reflective of the rage the Antichrist feels specifically because he knows the brevity of his time:

    Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.”

    These comments also reflect previous revelations given through Isaiah which also speak of this final period:

    Come, my people, enter into your rooms
    And close your doors behind you;
    Hide for a little while
    Until indignation fnruns its course.
    For behold, the LORD is about to come out from His place
    To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity;
    And the earth will reveal her bloodshed
    And will no longer cover her slain. (Isaiah 26:20-21)

    We must understand that eastern thought is not always structured as our thinking is. We read this passage, and immediately assume that when he says, “the other one” that he is referring to the seventh, but not the eighth. But within this passage is a prophetic riddle, a mystery that is being revealed. For the seventh and the eighth are one and the same, yet in some way, they are distinct. Enough so as to be identified as two, let one. But ultimately, the aspect of the equation that is important is the Antichrist. More than any previous ruler within the empire which he will come to rule over, he is the most important. He is therefore, the other one that is yet to come who will rule for a little while.

    Thanks for the thoughtful reply. Most of what your previous comment says does seem to gel and is possibly the right understanding for Rev 12:10 as far as the new testament goes.

    However I`m not sure how to relate the “one hour” of Rev 17:12 with the “one hour” of Rev 18:17? (expressed also as “one day” in Rev 18:8). How can these two “one hour” time frames be the same? The time of antichrists reign 3.5 years, compared to sudden destruction of the city? It`s the same expression.

    Also I assume because you typed out in full Isa 26:20-21 that it is quite significant in illustrating the point that the O.T. also teaches a short period of antichrists reign. But this passage can`t teach this unless you want a resurrection at the mid point of the 7y tribulation. The “little while” of v20 is immediately preceded by Isa 26:15-19 which is tribulational birth pains, messianic woes, part of Daniels 70th week, that Jesus had in mind Mt 24:8 and then a resurrection v19 IMMEDIATELY BEFORE v20`s “a little while”.

    So if Isa 26:20`s “a little while” is the same as Rev 12:10`s “a little while” you have a mid tribulation resurrection (& rapture) which is a debunked theory that the bible does not teach. Therefore these two statements of “a little while” can not be equivalent.

    Isa 26:21 is the second coming preceded by “a little while” of hiding the resurrected saints during a time of indignation. I see this as the 7 bowls not the entire 2nd half of Daniels 70th week.

    “One hour” is simply an expression which means a short time. It is not a particular time period. Mystery Babylon is destroyed in a very brief time. The Antichrist rules for a brief time. Nothing more.

    There is some debate concerning the exact meaning of Isaiah 26:20-21. I do not think it follows chronologically. I do not see it as resurrected saints hiding out in heaven for a while as some pre-wrath do. I see it as a simple general statement that speaks of the entire period.
