Behind all of the prophetic speculation, beyond all various signs that one might point to that signal the return of Christ, none is more relevant than the rising tide of global anti-Semitism.
Of course, one could easily point to the redundant calls heard throughout the Islamic world for the elimination of the Jewish state, or at times for the actual genocide of the Jewish people altogether. But as the Scriptures declare would occur before the return of the Messiah, this demonically inspired, directed, and empowered hatred is spreading far outside of the Muslim world.
On Friday January 31, 2014, the same week that many European Jews memorialized the Holocaust, boxes containing bloody pig heads were sent to the Israeli embassy in Rome, as well as a Jewish synagogue, and the Jewish Museum of Rome, which is presently hosting an exhibit on the Holocaust. There were also bomb threats called into the synagogue. One might see echoes here of the acts of Antiochus IV Epiphanes, the Greek monarch, who in the second century B.C., sacrificed a pig on the altar in the Jewish Temple, criminalizing the very practice of Judaism.
Elsewhere, in France, hundreds of French neo-Nazis marched through the streets chanting anti-Semitic slogans, such as “Jews, get out of France,” “Jews, we do not want you here,” and “The gas chambers are bull$h!t” (i.e. there was no Holocaust).
Why is all of this such a clear sign? Once one recognizes that the unfolding of the plan of redemption, the thread that runs throughout the entire Biblical narrative, is the commitment of God to fulfill His promises made through the Abrahamic Covenant, then it becomes clear that as we approach the last days, this will become the premiere issue wherein Satan’s hand will be revealed to all those with eyes of discernment.
As I like to remind my preterist and amillennial friends who claim that the Lord is done with the Jewish people, that the Church is the “New Israel,” if this is true, Satan surely has not received the memo. It would seem as though anyone with the discernment of a log would recognize that the growing tide of anti-Semitism globally cannot be explained through mere natural cultural or sociological means. Its time to wake up, embrace humility, and throw the outdated replacement theology into the trash heap of false doctrines.
In no other sign does Satan reveal his rage more clearly than in the manipulation of willing puppets, through the hatred of the Jewish people, in his war against the fulfillment of the Abrahamic Covenant. But though Satan would love more than anything else to prove the Lord to be unfaithful, our God always keeps his promises. Before all the nations, the Lord will be vindicated through the Jewish people when they are wholly his, truly and fully holy, dwelling in complete peace, with Him, in the land of promise.
“Then all your people will be righteous; they will possess the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified.” (Isaiah 60:21)

Nothing could be more straight-forward and clear than this post of Joel’s telling the truth in stark black and white. It is rage against the Covenant people and since Satan is unable to wage war against the Most High directly, he will try and touch God’s heart…the Covenant people and eventually, “those who hold to the testimony of the Jesus, the Lamb.”
You go Joel! Charge!
Amen Joel!
I like, “Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for the light of day and the fixed order of the moon and stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar; The Lord of hosts is His name:If this fixed order departs from before Me, declares the Lord, then the offspring of Israel also will cease from being a nation before Me forever. Thus says the Lord, if the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth searched out below, then I will also cast off all the offspring of Israel for all that they have done, declares the Lord.” Jerm 31:35-37. The jews are probably biggest sign we have of the mercy and faithfulness of God! I am very grateful to be grafted into the Olive Tree, being a wild gentile. I will gladly serve the Jews in the Kingdom!I know I will serve the greatest Jew of all time: Jesus! 🙂 I think the preterists and amillennial boys and girls need to get their act together too, and stop relying on a man-made system of theology, and realize the jews were first, and are still the people He has chosen. God just got mad at them for awhile. A very short time in the world of God. We as gentiles need to be humble and grateful God has chosen to graft us in. And last I looked, we as the church aint did much better than the Jews did at being a kingdom of priests.
Hi Joel. No doubt the increasing persecution of the Jewish people is a sign of the soon coming messiah. I would suggest an even greater sign is the global persecution of Christians as predicted by Jesus in Matthew 24/25. This coupled with the turning of truth on its head in the nations once the bastion of Christianity. Keep up the good work. Mark
Perhaps one of greatest problems with the “sleeping church” is how they fail to see their obligation to Jacob in the time of his trouble. Yeshua was so clear in His teaching about endtimes in the Olivet Discourse. Matthew 25
The Sheep and the Goats
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
The sleeping church fails to see that Yeshua’s brothers and sisters are jews as well as Christians AND that this is primarily an endtime parable. As Watchmen (Ezekiel 33:1-7) what are our obligations as individuals to that sleeping church?
Amen, Joel.
((As I like to remind my preterist and amillennial friends who claim that the Lord is done with the Jewish people, that the Church is the “New Israel,” if this is true, Satan surely has not received the memo.))
Indeed. This is a very dangerous way for a Christian to think. Although many Jews/Israel rejected Christ it in no way means that God has reneged on His end of the promise to their fathers. God does not swear by man. The bible makes clear that enemies to His people are enemies to Him, and there’s a grave repercussion for scoffing against the natural branches.
Joel,
I totally agree with you I was born and raised in France and moved to the US in 1998, since then antisemitism has been rising exponentially. It seems that Europe is taking the same path it took in the 30s…this time with Islam…the results will be the same: another holocaust but in the end Yeshua will fight for his people and destroy the nations once and for all, and reign from Jerusalem.
Thanks.
Jonathan.
Following replacement theology turns the Bible into an exercise of mental gymnastics, substituting a contrived fiction in place of common sense truth. Doesn’t a look today at Islam and the situation surrounding Israel make it clear?
Hi Joel, Thanks For Reporting This Rising Tide Of Hate. it Seems The Holocaust Is Fueling This Fire. Instead Of Seeing The Atrocity Against Humanity, They see Bloodlust. Satan Is Suffering From Nostalgia. He Loves The Past He Has No Place In The Future.
There Is a Lot Of Talk About The Blood Moons. They Seem To Be Signs leading Up To This War In The Middle East.
Keep Up The Good Work Joel And Keep Us Informed!
Take a look at the different Jewish sects when Yeshua ‘nzaret walked the face of the earth. There were the Sadducees, the Pharisees, the Essenes, the Zealots, and others. Then, from out of the sticks up north from Galilee (it was looked down upon by the snobs in Jerusalem, not unlike flyover country in the US is disparaged by the snobs on the east and west coast of the US), a different message is communicated. Some Jews accept this.
Where the older sects recognize amongst each other an element of the Jewish faith tradition, that recognition to these upstarts was not extended.
Such a distinction is lost upon those who continue to be angry with God for the 10 Commandments.
Micah 5:5 Then we will raise against him Seven shepherds and eight princely men. Does anyone know what this means?
Seth, I came across a Jewish commentary of that verse, and OT saints were pointed to.
Beyond that, I don’t know.
Changing gears, I came across this youtube channel after a facebook friend posted the trailer
