Ha! That’s hilarious. You so nailed it. As for your “footnotes” I like the touch. Not that your critics actually care about doing any research other than on Google. So funny!
Now if those who are shown the truth will let it sink in so that it creates a dilemma in their views, so that they must work through all relevant Scripture that touches this subject. That is my hope. Good video.
It shocks me that most of these populists still fail to recognize these basic facts of history as you have so effectively pointed out Joel. It becomes quite clear that for some, fear and pride is far more of a driving factor in their life than truth. Fear that if something as simple as one small eschatological doctrine is proved to be false, perhaps their entire faith system will come crashing down. This is a classic mark of uneducated fundamentalism. Though in many ways I would consider myself a fundamentalist also, in that I certainly adhere to all of the fundamentals of the historic Christian faith, I also am well aquainted with history, it being my primary field of expertise. I have thus found no difficulty in reconciling historical facts with my faith. Your thesis is quite complete, and I applaud you for the efforts that you have put forward. Continue the good work. I’m convinced of that in only a short time your views will become the most widely accepted view concerning the end times.

You are exactly right. Just imagine how many people will lose faith in Christ when persecution comes. They’ve been discipled on the health, wealth and prosperity heresy and will equate persecution with God not being faithful. Christians need to read the New Testament and abide in Christ, not the teachers they heap up to satisfy their itching, carnal ears.
Another huge problem I see coming with persecution is that Pre-Tribulation rapture adherents will abandon faith because their eschatology was wrong. They won’t understand that we are called to be a witness of the Cross during the Tribulation and will forsake Jesus because of their misunderstanding of God’s end-time purpose for His Church. They won’t see it as being purified by fire but as some kind of abuse and they will think God is a liar.
We must pray for the Holy Spirit to release revelation to the whole Body.
