My friend Dalton Thomas has begun work on a documentary film titled Covenant & Controversy. It’s theme is Jesus, Jerusalem and the Hope of the Nations. The website is here. They also have a Facebook page, a dedicated Twitter account, and the many amazing pics on their #covenantandcontroversy Instagram account have been awesome as well. I expect this to be a powerful and highly relevant film. Keep an eye on these sites over the next several months for updates and developments. Below are the first three teasers:

this looks cool
Hi joel
I was wondering what kind of passages from the old testament would you say refer to the religion of islam?
Well, Islam didn’t exist, so nothing directly. But it repeatedly refers to the nations that are now Muslim majority and identifies those repeatedly as the primary recipients of the wrath of God in the Day of the Lord. There are some other strong hints. Isaiah 14 speaks of Hilal Ben Sachar. This is the passage from wherre we get the name Lucifer for Satan. But the phrase translates literally as the crescent star, or the son of the morning star. Elsewhere, Gideon in Judges 8:21 after destroying the pagan Kings of the East and removed the crescent ornaments from their necks. This is later appealed to in Psalm 83.
Joel, are you aware of the “covenant of/for Jerusalem. This document was sent to all Jewry to consider and its leaders to sign. In was formally signed by the then president of Israel in May 1993. I understand that few in the world knew about this. I don’t believe the full document has been released, but it seems to state Jerusalem to belong to Israel in quite strong terms. Israel then, of course, as you know signed the Oslo agreement in September of that year also.
Seeing that the “controversy” of Zion certainly involves Jerusalem could the covenant of Jerusalem be the one strengthened, not Oslo?
Just a thought, perhaps important.
Thanks for all the good information on your website. I have also found the links you have listed extremely profitable as indeed yours is.
