It was in 2004, when American businessman Nicholas Berg’s brutal execution by beheading was widely shown all over the Internet, that most Americans caught their first glimpse of the black flag of Islam. Hung on the wall behind Berg and his murderous executioners was a black banner with Arabic writing in white.

Since the murder of Nicholas Berg, in numerous al-Qaida videos posted online, the same black flag has been observed hanging prominently behind the speaker. And now the same black flag is proudly flying high over the U.S. Embassy in Tunisia and is waving across the world. Welcome to Obama’s so-called “Arab Spring.”
Over the past few days, the black flag has been observed amidst the protests and riots in Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Nigeria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Indonesia, India, Turkey, Jerusalem, Gaza and even Germany, Australia and England. That’s at least 22 nations. Across the world, Muslims of every race, tribe and nation are marching under the same black banner.

While many commentators have been referring to this banner as the flag of al-Qaida, this does not convey its full meaning and history. What exactly what does the black flag of Islam truly symbolize?
According to Islamic history and tradition, during the career of Muhammad, the “prophet” and founder of Islam, his forces carried a large black banner known as ar-Rāya into battle. The first black banner was said to be made from a large piece of cloth once wrapped around the head of his child-bride, Aisha. When Muhammad and his men attacked a convoy, or village, it was this black flag that would herald their approach and lead them into battle.

When the Muslim forces returned to Mecca in conquest after a prolonged expulsion to Yathrib (Medina), enforced by the powerful Qurayshi tribe, this marked a major turning point in the expansion and victory of the Muslims over the region. Prominently leading the Muslim armies was Muhammad’s black flag. It is for this reason, namely the military conquests of Muhammad, that some versions of the flag today have a silhouette of the sword of Muhammad running along its lower half. Another name for the flag in Arabic is al-Ùqāb, and is sometimes referred to as “the Eagle” or alternately as “the Punishment.” Since the time of Muhammad’s original military victories, the black flag has represented the unified and ever-expanding Islamic movement or government, and is a reminder of the expansionist conquests of Muhammad and his armies.
The element of black seen today in many of the national flags of Islamic countries is a hearkening back to Muhammad’s original black flag.

Last week, in the midst of the fierce anti-American rioting and protesting, there were even attempts to hoist the black banner over the U.S. Embassy in Cairo.

Islam’s black flag is most often emblazoned with white Arabic writing. The phrase in Arabic, lā ʾilāha ʾillà l-Lāh, Muḥammadur rasūlu l-Lāh translates into English as, “There is no god but God, Muhammad is the messenger of God.” This is the creed and very heart of Islamic theology. This phrase is known as the “Shahada.” The Shahada affirms not only the exclusive and singular claim to deity of Allah, the god of Islam, but also the supreme role of Muhammad as the final messenger of this god to mankind. If one wishes to convert to Islam, this is the phrase that one must recite. When every Muslim child is born, the first phrase they will hear are these words whispered into his ears by his father.

A primitive version of ar-Rāya, not only has the Shahada, but also the ‘Seal of Muhammad’
While some in the Western media have claimed that the symbol of the black flag belongs exclusively to radical terrorist groups, in fact, the flag is also used by Hizbut-Tahrir, an international Islamic group whose goal is to reestablish the Caliphate, though it claims to reject all violence or terrorism.
The restoration of the Caliphate, a goal shared by jihadist groups such as al-Qaida, as well as moderate activist groups such as Hizbut Tahrir is a vision to unify the entire Islamic world into one Islamic superstate, called the Caliphate, led by a single leader, known as the Caliph. The Caliph is the pope, president and general of the Islamic world, bringing the religious, governmental and military offices all under one head. At virtually every Hizbut Tahrir rally, it is the black flag that will be the most prominent symbol on display.

Finally, beyond symbolizing the return to a unified Caliphate/Islamic superstate, there is a very important eschatological dimension to the symbol of the black flag as well.
According to Islamic prophecies, Muslims believe that the emergence of Muslim armies carrying black flags is powerful sign of the end times, heralding the coming of the Mahdi, the Islamic messiah figure. Muslims believe that the Mahdi will unify the Islamic world, conquer Israel and cause Islam to gain victory over the non-Muslim peoples and religions of the world as the Caliph of Islam. One version of the prophecy of black flags, as relayed by Suyuti, commands all Muslims to join this army:
“The black banners will come from the East and their hearts will be as firm as iron. Whoever hears of them should join them and give allegiance, even if it means crawling across snow.”
Another version of the prophecy as recorded by Tirmidhi, has the armies marching from the east and placing their flags on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, as the seat of the coming unified Islamic superstate under the Mahdi/Caliph:
“Armies carrying black flags will come from Khurasan. No power will be able to stop them and they will finally reach Eela, (Baitul Maqdas, “The Holy House” in Jerusalem) where they will erect their flags.”
Christian theologians have highlighted the similarity between the Islamic vision of their Mahdi with the warnings of Jesus and Paul who saw the biblical Antichrist setting himself up on the Temple Mount as the demonic claimant to world leadership:
So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel – let the reader understand – then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. – Matthew 24:16
He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple. – 2 Thessalonians 2:4
To discerning Christians who still recognize the warnings of biblical prophecy, it is clear that the Islamic Caliphate, or the “Mideast Beast” is on the way (Daniel 2, 7, Revelation 13, 17). Of course, even if one rejects the words of Jesus and Paul, it is clear that there is a powerful movement swirling throughout the Islamic world with strong apocalyptic or eschatological threads running throughout. But God knows that it is not a matter of if, but when the apocalyptic volcano that is the Middle East will explode. As we all anxiously watch the events unfold in the Middle East, it is time for Christians and unbelievers both to prepare their hearts and lives for all that lies ahead. For whether we like it or not, there are dark clouds, and black flags, gathering on the horizon.

Hi from NZ. I always enjoy your writings. After reading this one on Global Jihad and the black flags I hope a certain sector of NZ’s population will now re-think about their proposal for a new National flag – black with a silver fern in the middle. Looks too similar!
Cheers, Gaye
Well said, Joel. You have warned repeatedly this was coming for more than a few years now. This must be very bittersweet for you to watch these Mideast events transpire into reality. The ominous signs of Islamic hostility and eschatological meanings behind last weeks attacks should make every serious prophecy student be on notice that the Jihadi black flags reflect the hearts of what Islamists really want…a return to a Caliphate Superstate with a Caliph/Mahdi as their leader. The eschatological drum beat is getting more insistent and louder each passing day…but world events must get even darker than they are now to ignite a full fledged Islamic Caliphate. I shudder to even imagine what those events will even be and what economic hardships are coming as we begin to feel more severe birth pangs in just a matter of time, but how much time? *sigh*
Hey Joel. I am in love with you! See ya soon.
I wonder how much longer the church in the west can keep their heads buried in the sand. The 800 pound gorilla is fast putting on weight.
The Banner of Jesus must be waved over us if we are to be victorious in sharing the Good News around the World. The Word of God and King of Kings.
i agree Paul Walmsley. we can’t afford to get this one wrong. Satan keeps us distracted by looking in Europe. and if people don’t wake up, even Christians will suffer more than is necessary.
Very nice article Joel. Again you impress me with how far out in front of other Christian theologians and apologists you truly are…I agree with you when you say “Christian theologians have highlighted the similarity between the Islamic vision of their Mahdi with the warnings of Jesus and Paul who saw the biblical Antichrist setting himself up on the Temple Mount as the demonic claimant to world leadership.” In other words, many Christian theologians are currently claiming that the Mahdi of Islamic eschatological anticipation will be the Antichrist. Why they make this claim is beyond me; I guess it is because they truly don’t know enough about Islamic eschatology to know any better, or maybe its because of the obvious sensationalism The 13th Imam of Shiitism brings with it?
As you know Joel, al-Mahdi is more a prophet, in the Biblical sense of the word, than a warrior? His job is to “reform” a corrupted Islam – to return it to the purity of it’s original form. This would define the Mahdi as more of a prophet or reformer than it would a Christ, or even a Caliph…Thus, for me, as I state in my book, Kingdom of the Antichrist/The Rise of the Beast, al-Mahdi can be no one other than the “False Prophet.”
The Antichrist, then, must be “Jesus, son of Mary” of Islamic teachings and eschatological anticipations…He is, truly, an “imitation of Jesus Christ” in every way.

Here’s a great article just posted today on Bloomberg about Turkey’s rise as an economic super-power and financial hub of both Europe and the Middle East:
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-09-1 … enter.html
If Turkey does join the EU (which I believe it will very soon due to the fact that the EU needs Turkey’s strong economy to remain viable), it could potentially be the strongest economy in that bloc. Turkey would then be in a position to dictate politically and economically to the other Western European states as those states continue to decline, much as Germany has attempted to do in the past year. Not to mention the growing influence that radical Islamic groups have had on the growing populations of Muslim immigrants in Western Europe. We could really see Turkey “inherit” the entire old Roman Empire, if not through military conquest (at first), then at least through economic and political subjugation, in preparation for the return of the Caliphate and the Mahdi. So in that sense, maybe the idea of a revived Roman Empire is not completely off-base, it would just not appear according to the “Left Behind” scenario. It would be GREAT to see an article from Joel on WND that addresses these developments in Turkey and it’s unique position as being the “bridge” between Europe and the Muslim world, and how that would factor into it’s role as the seat of the Mideast Beast.
Working on it.
It’s amazing to see how imminent it is becoming for a leader to emerge for Muslims over the past few days. Their political and militant aspirations coupled with their vast yet seemingly discombobulated network of believers virtually necessitate the Mahdi himself. The black flag reminds me of Shoebat’s breakdown of the mark of the beast – has your research yielded similar conclusions about it (the mark), Joel?
What’s surprising to me is how the Jews in America continue to support Obama when he has done his best to radicalize the ME. Is their love for socialism greater than their love for Israel? The fact that God is the master puppeteer explains some of these apparent paradoxes.
Its good to see this forum back. Times perilous, but we aint seen the worst yet. My heart goes out to the Copts, just been reading up on the recent ‘jihad’ declared upon them in Egypt.
Thanks for all the updates Joel…………i keep telling my muslim friends that why do they have to defend their belief can`t mohammed defend himself?????? lucky for them our commander has told us to love our enemies or else it would be the crusades all over again
Thanks for the excellent overview. Much appreciated. Fuel for prayer.
@Richard Neal and Joel, the author of this article.
Regarding the similarity of the Mahdi from Islamic pt of view and the AntiChrist from a Christian point of view.
As a Muslim, I should point you to a very major distinction :
The Mahdi claims rulership. (Islamic pt of view)
I think, in christian writings, Anti-Christ is claiming deity.
If my previous sentence is true, then the Anti-Christ as defined to Christians is the same as the one defined to Muslims.
in fact, in Islam, the Anti-Christ will say he is God.
I really ask you to search in your books for details of the Anti-Christ, because there is no need to create conflict of religion by means of wrong interpretations.
Hi Joel, Are these Black flags also related to the Bismillah so well spoken of in your book with Walied Shoebat, “Gods’ war on terror”?
Hi Michael,
In my view, this would be encroaching closer to the Image of the Beast or the Mark of the Beast than the Bismallah would. I am not saying this is that, but I would say that such a confession is more in line with what I believe it to be.
People of the living God, get ready.
A blood bath is coming.
The Biblical requirement: patient endurance, obedience to the commandments (love of God and man, 1-10) and a fast hold of the Testimony of Jesus.
All the way. Even. Unto. Death.
The beast will be given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them, but WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS in JESUS MESSIAH, the suffering Lamb who will come back as the ROARING LION!!!
Hallelujah!!! Salvation!!! And glory!!! And power!!!
“I really ask you to search in your books for details of the Anti-Christ, because there is no need to create conflict of religion by means of wrong interpretations.”
Ahmed, you’ve just described Islam perfectly. Muhammad wrongly interpreted every single core theological teaching of Biblical faith and truth.
Joel V.
Let’s set aside what is true and what is false.
I am making a logical point here.
The Christian Anti-Christ will claim deity,
while the Islamic Mahdi will claim rulership.
The Islamic Anti-Christ will claim deity.
Now there should’nt be any attempt to claim that the Islamic Mahdi is the Christian Anti-Christ.
Ahmed,
While many Christians believe that the Biblical Antichrist will claim deity, the Bible does not necessarily say such. It does not say that he will verbally declare himself to be God. It says that he will assume a seat of authority in the Temple of God. This act itself could very well be sufficient to declare himself superior to the God of the Temple. I could be wrong. However, one must separate common assumption from the actual text.
This of course, is a large discussion, with some fine lines, as Muslims will adamantly deny that they ascribe anything divine for Muhammad, yet numerous divine qualities are commonly afforded him.
http://www.answering-islam.org/authors/shamoun/rebuttals/zaatari/worship_muhammad.html
Likewise, when one reads of the Shi’a descriptions of the Mahdi, he is viewed as essentially being omniscient, able to see, guide and oversee all things throughout the earth. He is clearly afforded divine qualities. I am not inferring that Sunnis would necessarily do the same.
When one compares the demands of a sitting Caliph, (of which it is said, the Mahdi will be) of the requirement to make the bay’ah, the pledge of absolute obedience, this is also something that no Christian could ever do to a man, yet in Islam, it is allowed.
In the end, while the issue of whether or not the Biblical Antichrist will verbally declare himself to be God (Allah of Islam, YHVH of the Bible or another god?) is yet to be seen, but regardless, there is no question that Islam as a system, due to its rejection of the divine incarnation of God’s very essence in Messiah, as well as the fatherhood of God, according to the Biblical definition (1 John 2:22), is the very embodiment of the spirit of the antichrist.
In no way however, does this mean that we do no love Muslims. We simply pray that they will escape Islam and find the truth.
Blessings
Joel,
Matter of belief are very serious issues.
Belief should be directly based on strong, clear and very expressive divine texts.
It is very important to know whether the Anti-Christ is to claim deity or not. Because that is a distinctive mark.
For example, we know that Satan, did not claim deity. He rather opposed God and worked/is working to lure us to the wrong deeds/beliefs.
No, in Islam, neither the Prophet Mohammed, nor the Imam Mahdi is a God. Mere servants of God who await their judgment and only hope for his Mercy.
Quote :
“there is no question that Islam as a system, due to its rejection of the divine incarnation of God’s very essence in Messiah, as well as the fatherhood of God, according to the Biblical definition (1 John 2:22), is the very embodiment of the spirit of the antichrist.”
In Islam, belief is coherent. God is one, no creature can match him. He gives miracles to his servants but never allow them to take a share in his Seat.
“O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Jesus Christ the son of Mary was (no more than) a Messenger of Allah, And His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a Spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His Messengers. Say not ‘Trinity’: desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is One God: glory be to Him: (Far Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.”
[Al-Qur’an 4:171]
Ahmed,
Again, for clarity, the Bible does not say that the Antichrist will verbally say that he is God. Its says that he will set himself up in the Temple of God, as God. Thus it could simply be the act, and not anything he says.
According to the Bible, Satan does indeed want to be worshipped as God. See for instance Isaiah 14, and Matthew 4 or Luke 4.
And again, I understand that within Islam, the party line claims that Muhammad nor the Mahdi is worshipped, but the evidence suggests otherwise. While the Qur’an and Allah are regularly besmirched, a single movie results in what we are seeing. To the rational mind, this is a clear case of improper priorities.
And again, the very fact that Islam’s view of God disallows him from revealing himself as He did in Messiah, as well as the rejection of the self-revelation of God as father, for Christians, disqualifies the Allah of ISlam from even being considered. For us, he is like a father that abandons his children, yet is overly insecure about preserving his image. True greatest does not need defending. The God of the Bible is utterly superior and worthy of adoration and worship. The god of ISlam to us is an insecure and impotent being.
I would counsel you to choose and serve the one true God. Broad is the road that leads to destruction. And Islam will never save you.
Blessings

And again, I understand that within Islam, the party line claims that Muhammad nor the Mahdi is worshipped, but the evidence suggests otherwise. Just today, Grand Ayatollah Vahid Khorasani, from Iran stated the following:
“The Prophet is the light of God and everlasting and that Allah, among all of His prophets, only compares himself to Muhammad and clearly calls him the last of His prophets with the most complete and righteous religion.”
Muhammad is everlasting? Allah compares himself to Muhammad? I think you understand my point. Christians see such statements and just shake their heads. Particularly because we know that Muhammad, unlike Jesus, was a sinner. Beyond this, while the Qur’an and Allah are regularly besmirched, a single movie that allegedly slanders Muhammad, has resulting in global uproar among Muslims. To the rational mind, this is entirely revealing as to who is more adored and a clear case of improper prioritization among Muslims.

Hi,
Quote :
“And again, I understand that within Islam, the party line claims that Muhammad nor the Mahdi is worshipped, but the evidence suggests otherwise”
What evidence are you talking about ?
The Quran says :
“Muhammad is but a messenger before whom other messengers have passed. Should he die or be slain, would you turn back on your heels? He who turns back on his heels shall do God no harm. God shall reward those who give thanks to Him.” [Al-‘Imran 3; 144]
Upon the death of the Prophet, and the choking of people, one of the Companions addressed them:
“People, if any of you has been worshipping Muhammad, let him know that Muhammad is dead. He who worships God knows that God is always alive; He never dies.”
This is not a partyline. It is the essence of belief. If we worship Mohammed instead of God, we are out of Islam.
Again my main point is about the AntiChrist:
The Christian view does not match the Muslim Mahdi.
If we are looking for a match, then consider Al Dajjal. He will force people to worship him and he is dwelling on an Island according to a Prophet saying, which does match with the Biblical prophecy that the Anti-Christ will come out of the Sea.
Is that not true ?
Ahmed,
You have demonstrated my point exactly. Islam is a confused and contradictory religion. Not worshipping MUhammad is not the essence of belief for many Muslims. Or will you say that the Shi’a Ayatollah who I cited above is not a Muslim? Will you say that all of the Muslims globally who are rioting over a movie, as if blasphemy were committed, yet who ignore multiple insults to Allah not Muslims? Will you deny the various traditions which say that Allah prays to Muhammad not part of Islam?
This is always the case with Islam. While the Qur’an affirms the Jews right to the land of Israel, those Muslims who agree with this are a tiny tiny minority. To far too many Muslims, Islam is not what the Qur’an says, (though they would argue that it is) but what Muslims globally say it is.
As for the Dajjal and the island, there are several contradictory traditions. The island tradition is only one of them.
Blessings
Joel,
Quran has no confusion about belief and monotheism.
Confusion lies when we go away fron the Tawhid which is the Belief that God is the only one worthy of being worshipped.
Your argument about God Praying to his Messenger as an act of Worship can not be accepted.
If you are truly confused, go here : http://www.islamicsearchcenter.com/archive/2010/08/does-allah-pray-meaning-of-the-word-salah-used-for-allah/
Islam is very clear on those Men to appear in the last days.
And I have but to restate that the only Man that can fit the Christian Anti-Christ is the Al-Dajjal.
The Mahdi will rule but will not make people worship him, nor will he claim deity.
He will rule but with the divine teachings.
Ahmed,
You obviously are not willing to have an actual dialogue. The Qur’an supports Zionism. Are you a Zionist, or not? According to your argument, only Zionists can be true Muslims. After all, the Qur’an says it.
I am sure that you want to believe that Islam is a coherent belief system, but obviously for Millions of your co-religionists, it is not.
It never seems to connect with Muslims that your whole system of belief was clearly and prophetically foretold several hundred years before it ever existed. The prophecies warning of your system of belief are hundreds and at times thousands of years older than Islam.
Good morning,
A dialog can not succeed when instead of elaborating on the one starting point, you start opening multiple discussion subjects.
I tried to debate with on the subject of the Anti-Christ but with wrong understanding of Islam you start stating wrong claims about Faith, talking about the Film, Zionism, Jews, etc.
In each message I tried to come back to the initial point but you throw diverging issues.
Quote :
“The prophecies warning of your system of belief are hundreds and at times thousands of years older than Islam.”
I am chocked at your understanding of the connection between Islam and Christianity.
There are so many parallels than divergence. But seems you are only seeing total opposition, making the claim that the Islamic Mahdi is the Christian Anti-Christ with the very high cost of throwing so many logical points that oppose you.
Ahmed,
You are showing yourself to be like too many of your brethren. Evasive and dishonest. I don’t have time to waste with someone who is unwilling to have a honest dialogue.
Every comment and point I have made have been relevant to your initial complaint. You responded. I debunked your claims. Rather than correct with facts, you shift to another subject.
You obviously haven’t read my book. Nor are you even as familiar with your own religion’s views concerning the end times / al-Fitan. Read my book Islamic Antichrist and after you’ve done so, then make a slightly more informed opinion. Then you will see that the parallels that exist between the traditions and expectations of al-Mahid and the true Antichrist far outweigh the parallels between the Antichrist and the Dajjal.
Blessings
You now easily claim the Majority of Muslims are dishonest and evasive.
In fact, you are dishonest by making false claims about Islam.
You are evasive by not responding with logic and argument to my very point that the Islamic mahdi is too different than the Christian Anti-Christ.
You disregarded the similarity between the Islamic description of Al dajjal and the Christian description of the Anti-Christ.
It is very sad for someone like you who seems to know so much, to conclude that the very Evil Person in Christian books is the Noble Mahdi.
You want to make a theory of conflict, while logical study of what Islam is and of what Christianity is contradicts you.
I cannot allow myself to read any book of yours unless I come to admire your reasoning and give confidence to the way how you reflect on data and reach conclusions.
Look at what you are doing Joel,
Islam is very expressive about who the Dajjal is and how is he going to claim that he is the Christ, son of Mary, but you just disregard that and want to make people believe that the Mahdi is the Anti-Christ.
Ahmed,
Which Scriptures should we follow? The Old and New Covenant Scriptures that have been followed for thousands of years by the Jews and Christians or the scripture that came down 600 years after the completion of the New Testament but wasn’t collected and written down in a single volume until about 200 years after Muhammad died? It also completely contradicts the foundational teachings of both the Torah and the Injil.
Also, should we follow the Qur’an when it states that it has been preserved on eternal tablets? How is that not shirk? How can the tablets on which the Qur’an is written be eternal without being God? Only God is eternal. You Muslims elevate your book to deity by claiming it was uncreated and has existed eternally, having a separate nature than the Creator who creates all things. So you have two eternal objects in your religion; Allah and the Qur’an. Therefore, because the tablets which contain the Qur’an are separate from your god, Allah, you actually believe in two eternal substances and you elevate the tablets as an eternal partner of Allah.
The Qur’an is so confused that it condemns itself of shirk, inadvertently of course. It seems like the writer(s) of the Qur’an didn’t think through everything they were writing.
Christians don’t look to the Qur’an or Hadith for information about the Anti-Christ because both of those writings contradict the teachings of the real Scriptures (Old and New Testament). Our Scriptures have prophecies which have been fulfilled in history. The Qur’an is nothing more than mindless rambling. How could the Qur’an be the eternal word of Allah if it doesn’t even know how to complete a story and it must rely on extra-biblical stories about the Biblical figures?
Your religion is hopeless and cannot be founded on fact. That’s why you Muslims lash out in violence like little children who scream for not getting their way when people show how vile Muhammad was and how ridiculous the Qur’an and Hadith are. Both of which elevate pagan superstition to spiritual truth. Do you believe Satan sleeps in your nose? Muhammad did!
-Joel V.
Ahmed,
I’ll make it easier for you to grasp my argument which just one question…
Do you, Ahmed, believe that Satan sleeps in your nose and must be flushed out with water each morning like Sahih al-Bukhari says?
If you do, you’re just a deluded superstitious pagan.
If you do not, then why should we believe anything the Hadith says? Especially considering the fact that Sahih means perfect and Islamic scholars agree al-Bukhari is reliable.
Your answer will be the basis of further discussion regarding what the Hadith say about Dajjal and al-Mahdi.
Joel V.
Joel V.
I will only reply to what concerns the only point I am debating in this article.
You say :
“Christians don’t look to the Qur’an or Hadith for information about the Anti-Christ because both of those writings contradict the teachings of the real Scriptures (Old and New Testament”
I am speaking to Joel, who made the theory that the Christian Anti-Christ is the Islamic Mahdi.
He needed to look at “our” books to sustain that claim.
However, he disregarded the very similarity between the Islamic description of Al-Dajjal and the Christian description of Al Dajjal, and rather only worked his efforts to link the Christian AntiChrist to the Islamic Mahdi.
I find this a contradiction of logic and a proof of bad will and thinking.
Ahmed,
There is no longer any reason to speak to you. You don’t know enough about your own religion to be able to have a conversation about it. You continually change the subject and its clear that you have closed your mind to searching for truth.
I would suggest that you start studying the Qur’an, Hadith and Sira more intently so that you become familiar with your own religion.
Joel V.
If you do not want to speak to me then ignore me.
How to reply if you ask me how come I believe in what you can not proove it is not true.
Do you have concrete information that Satan can not dwell in our ears and nose ? Does your religion contradict that Satan is not able to circulate the blood and fuel the anger of Man ?
Or you tell me that you know exactly where Satan is dwelling ?
What is belief if it is not essentially about what we can not apprehend ?
If you do not believe in what you can not apprehend then you have a big querel with all religions.
I repeat, in this article, the author is making the theory that the Chrsitain Anti-Christ is the Islamic Mahdi. However, the only one described by Islam to be fit into what Christianity describes as the AntiChrist, is the Islamic AntiChrist aka Al Dajjal, and not the Islamic Mahdi….
PROBLEM:
ISLAM, generally speaking, is a Dictatorship. They tell you what you will do, what you will think how you will pray and to whom. If you don’t, you will die.
MUSLIM, in all basics, is very similar to islam. A father will have no qualm in killing there family member if said member disobeyed him, no matter how menial the infraction.
SOLUTION:
Every man, woman and child who is of sound mind and body MUST defend the world of this virus and its devilish behavior. We must wipe this planet of this virus ASAP or we will not have a planet to live on.
As you can plainly see on ANY news report including there own videos, the “Convert or Die” motto goes way beyond religion.
If they don’t like anything you are doing they tell you to stop, then tell you how it is to be done. They have proven they will take anything you own for there cause. They will kill you without compassion.
Dear Author
The black flags narration is all false. There is a long story behind it. As a muslim, I believe that it was made up 700 years ago by Abbasies who rebeled at that time against ummawi empire “post caliphate”. They made up this story to motivate their only supporters from “Khurasan” AKA Iran these days to join this holy war “end of time” and Mahdi will gurantee the vistory!!
I have asked many islamic scholars about it and they all confirmed that this narration is all false and never been a true pfophicy by Prophet Muhammed PBUH.
Please read about Abbasies and you will have a clear vision of how ppl used religion to serve their needs through nieves.
I enjoyed reading the article by the way, so thank you
hi joel i wrote you earlier, you did not reply. this prophecy is very serious. one misrepresentation all bible scholars including you do is about kush and put in ezekiel 38-39. they are not Libya or Ethiopia as all predict. they are both in ancient india, currently in afganistan pakistan (region of khurasan) . just google the term hindu kush mountain in google and google the term rajput simply meaning rajas of put or kings of put. also names of kush put comes with persia, and pakistan afganistan are closre to iran than libya or ethiopia. so it indicates an islamic army coming out of the east. so possibility is that gog’s army will consist of turkey, iran, pakistan and taliban. this will be a much stronger opposition than previously thought of. then kings of the east (hindu army from india- the army of god) will come to rescue israel. hindus and jews are friends for eternity. what do you think about this
The Bible defines exactly where Cush is. It was just south of Egypt, where the Nile splits. You are confusing two different names that have the same sound, but different origins. Blessings.
