1. What a GREAT documentary!

   The need is so great and the people are so genuine. I didn’t know the Kurds descended from the Medes. Your heart will melt for these people as they need to know the power of the gospel to give them hope and a future is such a powerful calling in this film.

   A great tool for outreach and a call to the church!

2. How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (Romans 10:14-15)

God’s people must first turn and become salt and light once again. particularly in the way in which we have handled the immigration situation over the last 20 years or so maybe longer, we have been facing an onslaught of refugees escaping from hideous horrors, what can we say about how we have treated God’s precious children these refugees running away from the brutality that is the law in places in Mexico China around the world. if we treat God’s children so horribly by sending them back to face this brutality what can the USA expect to happen? but the church has been co-opted and believe the propaganda of the political elite which has propel dust away from the narrow path, what about our taxes we pay and our 401 K rates? of return. Jesus said give what you have to the poor, take up your cross and follow me. our treasure should be primarily in heaven brothers and sisters. how often have I wondered who Jesus was talking about when he said there will be those who will say to me Lord Lord haven’t we prophesied in your name and done many miracles in your name and he will say depart from me you workers of iniquity well my friend iniquity is highlighted here in the way God’s people the church for christ sake has forsaken these refugees and treated them as scum to be exploited.

6. I read an article yesterday, the US gave Turkey the ok to shoot US soldiers, who are fighting with the Kurds against ISIS. The article states: Turkish jets struck camps belonging to Kurdish militants in northern Iraq this weekend. Is this the same group you are trying to help? How will this impacted your relationship with those in your camps? I will pray for all of you. Bringing the gospel to an area like this can’t be easy, but what a testimony of Yeshua’s Love!!

7. We are ministering to Kurds, Arabs, Yezidis, and anyone living in the camps in the area. But the camps of the refugees and the camps of the PKK militants are not the same.
