1. nice talk Joel. I think we may have been in Israel, Egypt and Jordan in the same period in 1994. As a Catholic we don’t agree on everything, but I appreciate your insights, your faith, commonsense, and your wit. good people is good people.

   Where did you stay most of the time when you were there? Did you ever make it down to Eilat?

3. I was studying at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, so I stayed in the dorms there. We did travel around quite a bit in Israel, the Sinai, and surrounding countries. I made it down to Eilat a few times, and just stayed in youth hostels there.
