The Underground Episode 46: The 2016 American Presidential Election and the Saudi Influence of Washington

In this episode, Joel takes on the incredibly controversial topic of the Saudi Arabian influence of Washington and what it means for the 2016 American Presidential Election. This is one episode that you will not want to miss.

Hey my brother! Excellent–and very sober–summary of the influence of the Saudis globally. I remember when in 2006 you were pointing to them as the city on many waters and the hatred of them by the fathers within Shi’a Islam. It is hard to imagine that even the one man in my lifetime (GW Bush) who with resolve was willing to prosecute the war on terror was greatly influenced by them. I really appreciate and benefit from your delving into the world of current politics –particularly from a scriptural/prophetic point of view. I have closely followed all of the other things you are doing. I really do pray I get a chance to see you in person someday. God bless and love you brother!

Rev. 18:3: “For all the nations have drunk
the maddening wine of her adulteries.
The kings of the earth committed adultery with her,
and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries.โ€ Rev. 18:

Rev. 18:9: โ€œWhen the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her.”

Well, that certainly puts the great harlot of Revelation 18 into perspective, doesn’t it? And those “excessive luxuries” (vs. 3), excessive indeed. Like the diamond studded Mercedes Benz cars those debauched Saudi princes drive! Someday their oil fields are going to go up in smoke and fire, and their money will be worthless. And then the kings of the earth will weep.

That was excellent, Joel. Our leaders have betrayed our country.

Very surprised about fox news. Though I suppose in these days nothing should surprise us.

Its a tragedy that our fore father’s zeal for funding the gospel, has by to many (IMO) been replaced by “securing a pension”
by compromise. John Wesley would be ashamed before God on their behalf.

Sometimes you feel like your going barmy, knowing what Gods word says regarding the islamic connection to endtimes, but feeling like your trying to move a mountain with a spoon, in trying to get others to see the urgency of the hour. So thank you for sharing as you do

May Gods presence keep you safe as it did David.

Hi Joel. Really sobering to consider how those we “trust” are not necessarily trustworthy. Fox News, for example, does refer to radical Islamic terror, but I can’t remember if they actually speak of Islamic jihad. I’m not sure that Fox News is so “conservative” on moral issues.

Regarding Saudi Arabia buying U.S. political, educational/intellectual, economic influence, and Mecca being considered the Babylon the Great in Revelation, and Islam being the beast, I have a question:

Since harlotry is immorally selling oneself/one’s body for financial/material gain — I suppose that a bribe can sometimes be viewed in that way — then it could be said that the U.S., in this case, is doing that. If the beast is Islam(ic), and the harlot is riding it, and then the beast — who actually hates her — throws her off and destroys her, having exploited her until it had no more feigned respect for her or use for her anymore, doesn’t this imply that the harlot is actually Judeo-Christian in her identity, and selling out to her illicit ‘lovers’ rather than being faithful to her true God, Savior, and Husband, and His character?

This would seem to be the spiritual dynamic going on here. Just as corporate Israel is called a harlot in the Old Testament (despite there always being a remnant of faithful believers), the New Testament shows that there is also a visible harlot church operating out from the corporate Church/the Body of Christ. Islam was founded spiritually to undermine the holy and moral integrity of the true people of God — whether within Israel or within the New Testament Church — as a way to defame and blaspheme the holy and righteous name of the one true God, YHVH, the Father and the Son — Jesus Christ/Yeshua the Messiah — and the Holy Spirit.

I hope I’m being clear enough for you to understand my question. Sorry that we can’t talk about this in person!

  • Joel

    Hi Howard,

Biblically speaking, spiritual harlotry is simply idolatry. Not necessarily covenant unfaithfulness. It can be that, but is broader. Any who commit idolatry with her, or who even support her, even if they do not actually commit idolatry, are to some degree found guilty with her. When we really analyze Rev. 17, 18, it is clear that she is not apostate Christianity or Judaism, as she openly pushes the religion of the beast. She is in full partnership with the beast. When he turns on her, it is intended to be profoundly ironic. I use the analogy of watching the Lone Ranger and suddenly Silver tunes and devours the Lone Ranger. We are intended to be shocked at this. So it is not an initial picture of an uneasy partnership. At first they are in full league, until they are not. I hope this brief response makes sense. I hope the book does a good job making it all makes sense. Unfortunately it will be six or seven more months until it is out. : )

    Bless you!

Joel is absolutely correct in this current episode regarding the Saudi influence in all of American life. It is truly breathtaking the lengths the Saudi’s have reached to lull Americans asleep to the shadow of radical Islam in this country. I mined this link from Social Media and it is sobering what is intended for our country by Islamists and the Muslim Brotherhood is also a more fundamental form of Islam that has its tentacles using stealth tactics to establish themselves within our country. I had two links but one of them has been removed, but the other one is attached if Joel allows it.

I just have to say that I am not that surprised. I am European (south-east Europe – West Balkans). I remember being a small kid in the eighties and hearing some of our muslims (we have muslim minority – descendants of muslim converts) threathening us (Christians) constantly with America, saying: You will see when US sides with us (muslims). – We have seen it happen, resulting in ethic cleansing of ethnicities that are nominal Christians, parts of territories given into muslim hands, persecution of Christians, rise of radical islam, enclaves where sharia is the only law of the land, ISIS forerunners that were taking videos of killing/massacring non-muslims in Bosnia in the 1990’s etc. Now we know the cause, ’cause people were wondering what is the interest of US in either supporting all of the above or at least turning the blind eye when it is happening.

    Hi Joel!
Any thoughts on the burning oil fields in Kuwait during the gulf war of 1991? I don’t suppose this could be linked to Rev 18 since Kuwait only borders on Saudi Arabia. Also, with this coming election, I am concerned about voting and not voting, this really is a tough one, so far I have found info that speaks of Donald Trump currently doing business in Saudi Arabia.
Any additional info you or others may have and wish to share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your hard work and perseverance for Jesus Christ.

Joel, Do you have any thoughts on the city Saudi Arabia is building, KAEC? I wondered if this city fit into Revelation 18, but reading it I’m not sure it’s speaking about Babylon being an actual city. Maybe just the empire…hmm. Seeing the city being built though kinda freaked me out cause they have a lot of investors like Mars(candy company). Companies from all over the world, countries that claim to be democratic. How can they invest knowing what they promote, what they stand for, all the things they do in their own country. These are not equal rights, free speech people, but they have money. So to heck with ethics and morality I guess.

Thanks for the message Joel. Interesting about Glenn Beck and Saudis. I’m not surprised. I stopped watching Fox years ago because I finally saw through their slant and bias. I do listen to Beck and believe he is the only one telling the truth on air (I don’t agree with everything he says).

Great post, Joel. Breath-taking material. Also saw your related speech July 7 on the Jim Baker Show. This material is really going to be another best-selling book, probably bigger than “The Islamic Antichrist”. Will your upcoming book be titled, “The Islamic Mystery Babylon?”

I thought the story of Muhammad ibn Saud and Al-Wahhab took place in the 18th century, founders of the first Saudi state (and progenitor of the House of Saud) and Wahhabism, respectively. Or are there others with same name in the 1930โ€™s? Wasnโ€™t Abdulaziz the founder and first king of Saudi Arabia?

KAEC, Jeddah and Mecca will all be interconnected by a new high tech speed train that allows travel to any of the above in about 20 to 30 minutes.

Yeah, I mixed up the earlier alliance with Saud and Wahhabi with the later events of the 1930s. My bad.

OK, thanks. I thought maybe there could be other guys with similar names, since many Arab names are alike and complicated. No problem at all. Great video, as always. Keep up the good work. Anxious for your new book about the Harlot Babylon and Saudi Arabia and all. Currently enjoying greatly the read of When a Jew Rules the World.

Great program. So many people are in the dark on this issue.
One of the most comprehensive books I have read on this subject is “The Secret War Against the Jews” by John Loftus and Mark Aarons. They delineate in great detail how America became entwined with the house of Saud. I don’t know if you have read it or not, but it is agrees with everything you have said (though it is not a Christian book, so Scripture is not included!).
    Keep up the excellent work.
On a side note, you state you are writing another book. May I ask what it is about? If you can’t advertise it yet, no problem! I am just curious!

Good, I’m so sick of hearing people talking the wrong places being Mystery Babylon. I think it’s like the Antichrist.
There are many Antichrists and one final Antichrist which is judged.
There are many Babylons out there for prostitution and depravity,
but one specific place in the future that will be judged by God in a specific way.

    Excellent Joel!

I first learned about you and your books by watching Glenn Beck on FOXNEWS. So I always wondered if he was “forced” out by the Saudi connection. Of course, Glenn seems to have gone off the deep end with some of his rhetoric as of late, but I still owe him a LOT for having you on and I’ll forever be greatful. I have learned a great deal since then.

With the events in Turkey overnight will you be doing a show on the implications soon? Seems like Erdogan may be able to consolidate power and turn Turkey in an even more Islamic state and wondered your thoughts.

  • Steven Vance

Excellent! I can’t wait to read the book! I echo Gary’s words. I have been watching the Turkey situation very closely. It seems telling that Yildirim and Erdogan have fired 2,700 judges…clearing the way for a change in the constitution perhaps?

    Hi Joel,

Thank you for always keeping me informed and excited about End Time prophecy and the Bible. I’m glad to hear that you just finished a book on Mystery Babylon. This is a subject I have not been able to get my mind around. Is the original city of Babylon going to be rebuilt to be destroyed by God in His wrath or is Mystery Babylon symbolic of something else? I look forward to your new book.

Given the events in Turkey, do you plan to do a segment on that country? All hell is breaking loose. Apparently the Erdogan Islamists are attacking Kurdish and Alevi communities. Turkish officials have also cut the power to Incirlik Air Base and closed the airspace…..

Stunning material Joel. Events are helping us all focus on where our hope lies. Its not on the USA, but Jesus alone. He has given us the most powerful weapon on earth: the gospel. It is what the Islamists fear most.

BTW, congrats on the new book. I know you wrote a portion of this years ago and God had you hold it back; maybe for just a time as this. Can’t wait to read it and promote it.

Wow. That is certainly eye opening. Thank you for calling attention to this. Does Trump also have ties to the Saudis? Or would be easily bought? I look forward to your new book. Also, will you do an episode about the coup in Turkey? I’d love to hear your thoughts about that.

Hey Joel, excellent episode … as usual!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ I was getting ready to say similar things that Gary and Steven just said, (above), so I won’t repeat them.

I will say this, however, regarding Turkey’s situation and Erdogan, it would not surprise me to witness, or at least hear of, very real plans being put into place by Obama, Erdogan’s buddy, before the election, perhaps even causing a halt to the election itself … with Obama declaring himself (still) in charge for X amount of months, and/or, years, etc.. Things just seem to be lining up for this.

Anyway, again, great episode. DO MORE LIKE THESE! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Joel! Excellent video! I watch em all. Thank you for all you do. And your documentaries have been amazing. So encouraging

I came across an article regarding the island of Cyprus (Kittim/Chittim) and its role in deterring the Antichrist and him retaliating on Israel and setting up the Abomination of Desolation. If you get a chance, could you check it out and let me know what you think?

I’ve not heard that. He attacked Al Walid Bin Talal pretty strongly during the primary. I could be wrong.

  • Marcus Maddox
    Posted at 06:24h, 27 July

Your ideas about Mystery Babylon appear similar to those of Walid Shoebat.
I’ve noticed that a person’s culture can often shape the lens through which they view scripture.
As examples, a protestant might see Rome as M.B. while Shoebat as a ex- Muslim focuses on Mecca.
However, a Jew, who is now an Eastern Orthodox convert might see efforts to rebuild God’s temple as evidence that present day Jerusalem has gone a whoring and is now far away from her God.

I’m not asking you give away anything from your new book but could you shed any light at all on the scripture from Zechariah 5:5-11 and it’s possible link to M.B.
Learning when , where and why the Babylonian Talmud was written has given me reason to suspect the mystery runs very , very deep indeed and there was a good reason that John (our brother and companion in the tribulation and the kingdom and patient endurance that are in Jesus) was greatly astonished when he saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints.
I think every part of our theories must fit with every scripture. Just as you said at Morningside tonight. Even if a scripture matching theory takes us (like our brother Peter) to a place we would rather not go.

Is the Muslim Brotherhood tied to Saudi Arabia? I obviously haven’t researched it much. But I’ve heard elsewhere about the MB infiltrating our schools, govt, everything. So when you said this about SA, are you talking about the same group of people?
Its also interesting you are talking about this because I was just reading about this in Tom Horn & Cris Putnam’s new book. They talk about the relationship between SA and the US, Islam, the Bush family, and a lot more. Worth checking out.

By the way, do you think Donald Trump can be bought by the Saudi’s? I hope not. And if not, can they somehow influence the election? We need to pray this doesn’t happen.

I’m thankful for your ministry. I’ve learned a lot from you.
    God bless!

This certainly explains why Jimmy Carter negotiated the Camp David Accords for the Egypt-Israeli Peace Treaty which consisted of Israel giving up The Sinai to Egypt.; Why Bush Sr. presented “Land For Peace” at the Oslow Accords pressuring Israel to give up land to the Palestinians. The root of all evil is the LOVE OF MONEY! No wonder we are spiraling out of control.
