  1. This totally hit me earlier today Joel as I mentioned it someone else

Sometimes I think it is easy to miss a point in the following passage…Certainly it does indicate no man can date set (knoweth the hour) but it then Matthew 24 indicates a reference to Noah’s readiness especially if he knew that it would be after he completed the ark and the animals coming to the ark. Something of passage does indicate of how Noah was ready and had understanding of “about” when it was coming. With this we not just any man, if are to partake of this inheritance and should be aware of what to look for and be ready.

  2. Gary,

You need to pick up and read “The Last Shofar” by Joseph Lenard and Donald Zollar. You will gain a much, much greater understanding of your above post and a likely explanation of what Jesus meant about, “no man knows the day or the hour except the Father”. I know, it did for me and it was highly compelling. The false doctrine of imminence is deeply rooted in the church because we have lost our Hebraic corporate memory early in church history. This is all explained fully in this most outstanding work which Joel has recommended his track record is spot on and thanks, Joel for it.

    Blessings!

  3. Just wanted to thank you for presenting a balanced view of the Scriptures especially in regards to the latter days. There seems to be a lot of information out there that has just been “passed down/on” without it being examined in proper context. I also really appreciated the video you posted, “A Letter from the People of the Cross”. It’s an incredible reminder that every soul is precious to our Saviour. Thanks so much!

  4. Thank-you, Joel, for being a faithful teacher. When you said that though the apostles had some new revelation that we see in the new testament, much of the time they were expounding on teachings that had already been given in the Tanach. That is so true. We need to become rooted in all the scriptures, just as they and Jesus were. That way we won’t be susceptible to all the various “winds of doctrine” that lead astray. Very fine teaching. Blessings.

  5. Hi Joel, Good episode. At some point can you talk about the false prophet? or direct me to some good study material? In most all cases, the Church says it will be a person who is this false prophet but as I understand it is a beast that rises out of the earth. As you and other describe, the dragon is the Devil, the beast with 7 heads and ten horns is a revised Ottoman empire and the little horn is the anti-christ. I’m in total agreement with this idea but if that is the case wouldn’t that make the false prophet a nation of some kind? As far as I can understand it is a unique nation that comes out of the earth, not the sea (sea being the people). Usually the Bible has two or more prophetic verses concerning end times, so wouldn’t it also seem possible that this “false prophet” is mentioned elsewhere in scripture?

  6. And other good message, thanks for sharing this with us Joel!!!
Personally, I can’t understand that there are those who think there won’t be a temple standing on Temple Mount again. I’m a bit like a child – 1+1=2 and not 3 or even 4 or 5. God has clearly said that the antichrist will put an end to the Jewish sacrifices in the temple and will sacrifice unclean in the temple, which means there must be a temple. It’s dangerous when people twist and turn God’s holy truth to make it fit their own doctrine.
Btw, few days ago the Palestinian leader Abbas vowed to stop “filthy Jewish feet” stepping on Temple Mount (hurts me real bad when I read things like that). So I was thinking that maybe part of the 7 year peace covenant between Israel and the antichrist will be the permission/ green light to go ahead and build a temple on Temple Mount.
Regarding all those future prediction going around, I know we all want to know “when” and “how” but predicting the future is divination. The purpose of prophesy is not to predict the future but to glorify God when that future happens. I know that recognizing the times and seasons is an imperative but that is very different from making predictions. I’ve been through natural child labor 3 times. Once you find out you are pregnant, you can calculate the estimated due date but that is just a rough estimation. Nobody knows when the baby will come. But the closer you get to the “end days” of your pregnancy, the more you are sure that the baby can come any moment. I remember how I use to wake up every morning thinking, maybe today is the day. And even when the first contractions start, it’s still not very clear if those were the begging of labour. But than the moment comes when there is no doubt anymore that – this is it. And as much as you want to go back or stop it because the pain is unbearable, you know that you have only one option – go through labour and finally see your long expected baby.
Plus all those predictions of what’s going to happen with America is not how we read the sings and seasons. Again for me 1+1=2…….God has said very clearly that the 70 weeks were decreed for your people and holy city, meaning Israel and Jerusalem. Israel and the Jews will be in the center of it all and not America.

    Blessings

  7. Tried three times to watch this video. Each time, at the 1 minute 27 seconds point, the screen freezes and goes to a “More from Joel Richardson” page.

  8. Maria — really great comments! You think like I do. And I love your pregnancy/childbirth analogy, excellent!

  9. Thanks Taryn.

BTW, that is not my YouTube channel. Someone is just doing it on their own, in my name. Which is fine. But it is not actually me. Just FYI.

  10. Thank you Joel for your teachings and insights you share with us.
I’m blessed by it. Appreciate the time and effort that goes into this.
    God bless you!

  11. Joel What do you think about Bob Cornucke’s book Temple. He believes the Temple was not on the the Temple Mt. But to the side of it in David’s city he does investigations like this like you know and would that not be very unusual to sat the least. Thanks for your commentary I so enjoy them.

  12. As I understand it, Bob’s thesis has some interesting points, but also fails to address some key issues. I have not read it in any great detail, but am familiar with it. The issue of the Eastern gate lining up with the Temple seems fairly solid. The fact that Jesus looked down at the Temple from the mount of Olives seems fairly clear. The bottom line is we will not know until Jesus returns. In the end, Bob may be right, and perhaps the millennial temple will be in the city of David, but for now, the rabbis do not think it was there and so I think we can be assured that the next temple will be on the Temple Mount next to the Dome of the Rock.

  13. Ou, ou, Joel…if I hadn’t studied this just recently, I wouldn’t be able to comment about your response to Alice regarding Bob Cornucke’s work about the Temple.

There is another work entitled, “Messiah’s Coming Temple” by John W. Schmitt and J. Carl Laney who view the Millennial Temple separate and north of the new Jerusalem (City of David) in the Millennial Kingdom of Messiah. I don’t have time to go into detail, but I want to add this to the mix for your posters to consider and it was a well written work, imo.

    Blessings!

  14. Seriously, though, I am quite grateful that this youtube channel exists. So thank you, whoever you are…

  15. Another beautiful and balanced presentation Joel, many need to be inspired by the Prophesies and what is playing out.

Many think that as soon as the 3 and a half years of Tribulation ends that Jesus Christ instantly comes that day and hour as if we know the exact day and hour of His coming yet nowhere in scripture does it say that.
In Mark it states that in those days after the Tribulation has completely ended then the signs will be seen in the heavens, Jesus then says that when you see those signs after the Tribulation has ended you know that His Coming is near, He is at the Door, Redemption is near, that is the time to look up as that is the time where He can truly come at any moment.
In Matthew 24:32 to 34 Jesus commands us to learn a parable of the fig tree and in Luke 21;29 Jesus says all trees, when summer is near you literally see new leaves budding, likewise when you SEE ALL these signs then you know his coming is near and at the door.
We don’t know how many days exist before Jesus Comes after the Tribulation but we know that He will then be at the door ready to come and we should be ready at that time as we will be walking in Truth not in darkness.
We do know that the Antichrist will still be alive at that time as Paul clearly states that Jesus destroys the AntiChrist at His Coming.
In Daniel 9;25 it was prophesied 69 weeks until the Messiah and then states (after) the 69 weeks Messiah will be cut off. Jesus being cut off was not in the 69 weeks it was just after.
In the same way there is a seven year period remaining and after that seven year period ends will be Christs return.
We do not know the day or hour but we know what must happen before that day or hour draws near as prophesied by the Prophets.
We know that the two witnesses minister for 3 and half years in the last half of the seven years and that they actually lay dead for 3 and half days after that 3 1/2 year period before they are raised.
Thanks again Joel for a beautiful and balanced presentation on the Antichrist and Temple.

  16. Joel, I was inspired to dig deeper in His word when you spoke here in Nashville. Your information concerning the agreement between anti-Christ and the elders of Israel in the near future came to mind today. I saw a book by a respected Jewish author named Rabbi Weitzman. It is entitled “The Ishmaelic Exhile”, and mentions two Mossiachs…….one Jewish, and one Islamic. It seemed to be setting Jewish thought upon a peace making duo sent from God to establish the Kingdom on earth. I don’t recommend the book but find it very timely that a leader in Israel could be preparing for such an mind manipulation.

  17. Also Joel 2:17 says “Let the priests, who minister to the Lord,
Weep between the porch and the altar” in reference to the day of the Lord. So it looks like there has to be a porch and an altar. Hard to say if the rest of the Temple will be built, but speaking from an Architectural background, it seams likely.

  18. Hi Joel, thank you for this teaching. If any of your viewers are in Jerusalem, I recommend a visit to the Temple Institute which is situated near to the Western Wall (www.templeinstitute.org). They have produced and constructed sacred vessels and musical instruments, which are on show to visitors, in preparation for the Third Temple. (Ezra 1 v 5). My husband and I visited the Temple Mount a couple of weeks’ ago and saw Jewish people there being physically intimidated and verbally abused. It is amazing to think one day the Third Temple will be there when there is such animosity towards the Jewish people who visit this place at the moment. God bless.

  19. Brother Joel,

Thank you for trying to free minds from clinging to commenaries, nationalism, tradition and ethnocentrism when interpresting the Bible! Our worldviews sometimes blinds us from the truth if we cant escape it enough to look at the truth in tne context it was written in and not just our own context.

Have you ever heard of or read Lambert Dolphin? Profound older saint, in his 80s I believe. He writes for Temple Institue and Koinania House, Chuck Missler’s ministry. He was also a co-laborer of Ray Steadman. I don’t know him personally, but I admire his work greatly. He is still accessible. He has a website and is on Facebook. However like Billy Graham he is a treasure that may not be with us long. Please pray about getting intouch with him. I am sure Chuck Missler’s people would gladly put you two in touch. He is more than an encylopedia of knowledge, spirituality, and is as sharp as a Stephen Hawking, no exaggeration. He is not stogie and stubborn. He is open to new ideas as long as they can be proven Biblically.

  20. Shalom Joel :

Thanks for this excellent teaching ! As one serving the Lord in Israel
for many years I’m personally grateful for your biblically based insights and I’ve already learned a lot from them. For what it’s worth, you have my full attention and respect. Thank you. In His Redeeming Love, Pastor David N. Decker, Jerusalem, Israel, ” The City of the Great King .”
