  1. Israel is the apple, or pupil, of God’s eye as mentioned in Deut 32 the Song of Moses, and Zechariah. The nations are but dust as Isaiah mentions, and the Sovereign God raise them up to do His bidding at the time of His choosing, to accomplish His purposes. He raised up ancient Egypt, and when Jacob and the 70 moved there, it was the superpower of the day militarily and economically. When Jacob left 400 years later, he was over one million, and strong enough to eventually take the Land of Promise, and so Egypt served the purposes of God by being the womb for the first nation of Israel.

Fast forward to today….the Jews were almost annhilated, and came to America poor and destitute, to the superpower of the day, the US. They prospered, and supported the founding of new nation of Israel monetarily, spiritually, and emotionally and as I see it, the USA has served the purposes of the Almighty in the same way that ancient Egypt did, by serving as a womb for the nation of Israel….God raised up the USA to serve as a womb for Israel, the pupil of His eye.

Nevertheless, the Almighty is working to place Israel in a position where it will not be able to look to America for deliverance, just as He did not want Israel looking to Egypt for deliverance in the days of Jeremiah..as He wants to put Israel in the position where it has to look to Him, and Him alone for its salvation

  2. Great show Joel…really learning alot of great information, you are fotifying my faith… God bless you, hope to hear you speak someday!

  3. Hi Joel, I’ve been devouring your material. I love your insight and teaching but more than that I appreciate that you always have practical and encouraging words to share for your brothers and sisters in Christ during this time and the years ahead. I.e. Zephaniah 2:3 and Joel 2:12-13. It was funny because I opened up my Bible to Zeph 2 and beside verses 1-3 I had written “survival plan.” I have also quoted this line from you, “I don’t want to die in my bunker with rice and beans” several times over the last week or so. So thank you for helping me and I am sure others keep our hearts and minds set on the hope of the kingdom to come!

Prayers for you and your family!

  4. Joel, I really appreciate you and especially this episode. Was reading an article minutes ago and thought back to earlier today in watching your show. After reading it got to thinking that quite possibly China could be that candidate that the Anti-Christ goes after. I was reading how their Great Firewall censors and prevents unwanted media through the Internet. I really think that a new financial Intranet system is established in the last seven years that requires memory of a password and icon unto the beast. I could be wrong but I tend to think to “remember” means also in reference to bind to the mind or hand. They may resist this new system to some degree.

  5. Great comments from Sam and Kristy!

This is an excellent video, Joel. Your presentation is very balanced and keeps the focus on God’s bigger picture. God is kind in giving us all of these Scriptures about the end times, so that we can study, and discuss, and prepare our hearts. As we search the Scriptures and discuss these things we gain additional insights to be the ‘maskilim’ who lead many to righteousness

I forwarded this to a friend who, though very patriotic, does not have a grasp of Biblical prophecy, and is very upset with what is going on in our Nation. Believe me, my heart also grieves for the decline of the United States. I think of Jeremiah, who wept for Israel, and so it is appropriate to weep for America. However, politicians are not ultimately he answer to this country’s problems. I hope this provides some perspective for her. I think many people are overly obsessed with finding the U.S. in the Bible, and I believe this can be a distraction from that bigger picture.

We can be so focused on “Where is the United States in Biblical prophecy” that we don’t see the bigger picture of God’s eternal redemptive plan, which will not come about without a crisis for Israel.

  6. The “Strongest fortresses”, I dont think is America. Its true that today America is still probably the most powerful military, but we are talking about the future, when the AC is in power, he will move against the Strongest Fortress of his day, not ours.
A hundred years ago British theologians would have read that and thought ‘hey, the Royal Navy will be fighting the antichrist’, because before the Great War, the British Empire was probably the strongest power in the world. Not so today.
Today America is. Maybe not so tomorrow.

I think the strongest fortress nations are either Russia or China. Reason being is that in the end of Daniel 11 (or 12?), it says rumours from the East and the North shall trouble him and he will march out to fight. Being the only two significant militaries to the north and east of the middle east, and predominantly non-muslim, I would say they might be the same nations referred to earlier when it says the AC would fight against the strongest of fortresses. The two verses might be alluding to the same thing

  7. Right. This is simply one of those issues that we will not be able to definitely conclude until it actually coms to pass. I hope I expressed myself as cautiously as is necessary when addressing these kinds of passages.

  8. I just saw this news article in World Net Daily: TEL AVIV – Hamas’ political leadership tentatively accepted the terms of an eight-year truce with Israel, according to sources within Hamas.

The sources, speaking to WND from the Gaza Strip, said Israel gave support to Egypt to accept a Hamas delegation for further talks on the proposed long-term cease-fire.

After discussions in Egypt, the Hamas delegation, headed by Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, will travel to Qatar and Turkey for more input on the deal, which is being brokered by former Quartet envoy and ex-British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

    Read more at http://www.wnd.com/2015/08/hamas-accepts-terms-of-8-year-truce-with-israel/#vwsF8iLvDPGbUmeO.99

What are your thoughts about this? If this is still being discussed and is yet to be signed, and if Turkey’s leadership is involved, and if the final form of the truce changes… What if it is changed to 7 years? Could this be the 7 year treaty that the Bible says will be signed by Anti-Christ?

  9. Not looking for America, I found Isaiah 18:2-3 NKJV. “Go, swift messengers, to a nation tall and smooth of skin, To a people terrible from their beginning onward, A nation powerful and treading down, Whose land the rivers divide.” 3 All inhabitants of the world and dwellers on the earth: When he lifts up a banner on the mountains, you see it; And when he blows a trumpet, you hear it.”

I can think of no other nation has been terrible from its beginning onward. The rest could also fit. Amos 8:9 says the sun will go down at noon. Noon in Jerusalem would be 2-5am in the US. This “may” be God’s way of telling America that we may not see the sun darkened, since it would already be dark, but we will see his sign in the heavens and hear the last trumpet. Possible? Maybe.

Also, the examples you gave in this episode triggered another “possible” consideration for America in my mind. Ezekiel 28:6-8. 6‘Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Because you have set your heart as the heart of a god, 7 Behold, therefore, I will bring strangers against you, The most terrible of the nations; And they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, And defile your splendor. 8 They shall throw you down into the Pit, And you shall die the death of the slain In the midst of the seas.” Strangers could mean a people not listed elsewhere in the Bible. Unless America falls “the most terrible of nations” could be the US. Referring to the fall of the King of Tyre (Anti-Christ), this “might” be another example. This would be awesome!

Keep up the good work. I sincerely appreciate it. I just finished going thru Islamic Anti-Christ again and verified everything in it for myself. (I question everything and everyone) You have a special purpose on this earth at this time. Multitudes will escape deception because of your work. God Bless You!

  10. No, the messengers go to Cush, the subject of the prophecy. The Cushiness are the people tall and smooth, feared, etc. Cush is the land divided by the Nile rivers.

  11. I rarely find that blanket term correct. One can see rightly, but get parts and timing wrong. Dudman clearly got many things wrong. Doesn’t mean he didn’t see some thinks rightly.

  12. Joel,

Just wanted to say thank you for doing this series. I’ve been going through a spiritual valley lately, and your teachings have been a great source of hope and inspiration. Keep up the great work.

    God bless,

    Michael

  13. Thanks Michael,

I’m glad that my weak efforts here are edifying. Hope your valley season come stop an end soon. And may the Lord bring some solid brothers around you.

    Bless ya!

  14. Absolutely love Ezekiel 38, its just perfect. As you said it so describes modern day Israel, a people bought back from the sword, that have caused the desolate places to flourish. Post Babylonian captivity, no other time but now, can this describe the Land of Israel.

Its so amazing, and i think a great tool in prophesy witnessing.

Jeremiah16:14-16 says God will deliver Israel for a second time, this time from the land of the north. 1st, the opened sea signalled their deliverance, but the 2nd time it will be the opening of the very heavens themselves, Talk about style and power, truly mind blowing.

    Thanks again Joel.

  15. Hello Joel,
We saw your teaching on Jim Bakker’s show last night, I don’t know if I have ever seen you that animated before. Good job!
I have a question. Some 15 years ago I helped with prayer conference in Branson MO and heard a story about Corrie Ten Boom flying over the Branson area & seeing many angels surrounding Branson. She asked the Lord what does this mean and the Lord said that He was going to used Branson in the last days.

Are you familiar with this vision of Corrie Ten Boom?

    Alisa

  16. It is clear from scripture that Israel is defeated and sacked by the Anti-Christ, and that a third of her populous is enslaved. Thus, the Anti-Christ, will possess whatever offensive and defensive armaments and systems Israel possessed, including nuclear ones. This will give him the capacity to go up against the strongest fortress whomever that turns out to be.

  17. Thanks guys. Appreciated. I heard Jim tell that story. Just what you said. Pretty Amazing.

  18. Joel, Can you comment on the possibility of Revelation 12:14 referring to America? Might the wings of a great eagle be a reference to the US as a protector of Israel during the great tribulation? In light of the use of animals to portray other nations in prophecy, this doesn’t seem to be out of the question. I’m aware of verses such as Exodus 19:4 where the Lord refers to Himself as the eagle’s wings, so great caution must be used as always. But the verse in Revelation seems to refer to a group of people specifically, where “they” nourish the woman for 3.5 years.

    Great show, blessings!

    Greg

  19. Just a thought on Revelation 12:14, but perhaps what John described as a “great eagle”, could also be a plane, a big one. 🙂

But seriously, if things don’t turn around in this country, I frankly can’t see America being a protector of Israel in a time of unequaled deception, when the whole world will feel the weight of the Anti-Christ.

  20. Three things.

1 – A fortress is a good place to store what the holder of the fortress has looted. I can’t help but think that the AntiChrist is engaging in some projection.

2 – Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Tarshish mentioned in the Old Testament prophecy according to Jonah?

3 – I came across a well written piece that places the influence of the US, on the geopolitical scene, in a soon to come day, with where it was in 1800.

  21. I’m loving your Underground videos and would even like them more often then weekly 😉 Of course, it’s probably not a good idea to watch them as a wind down at the end of an evening. Yeah, I wouldn’t recommend watching them before a night’s rest is needed, as it makes for some mighty interesting dreams!

  22. Amerika’s centricity, yes, that’s right, that is a wellknown characteristic of America. It is an irritation-factor for many people and (also western) countries, more and more.

Thank you Joël, for your work and sharing. Always interesting and educational.

Blessings to you & your family !

  23. Thank you, Joel, for an excellent presentation of why the US is not Mystery Babylon. I’ve been teaching bible studies for many years and have some thoughts on the subject. I believe it to be a Spiritual domain, controlled by Satan. Just as the kingdom of God in this present age is a Spiritual domain (mystery hidden from beginning of ages, which is Christ in us the hope of glory). In Daniel, Babylon was represented as the head, or the beginning of this manifested earthly domain. Gabriel .gave Daniel a clue when he said that he was hindered by the Prince of Persia from getting God’s answer to his question. He said God had to send Michael, the warring angel, to aid him. He also said the next succeeding domain would be under the control of the Prince of Graeca. Of course as you say the fourth empire or domain was the Islamic empire which has controlled the region since the 7th century. They have had such an iron clad hold on the region that George Otis III deemed it the “10 X 40 window” (10th to 40th parallel.), the most under evangelized part of the world . Have you ever thought of why God told Abram to get out of the region? Or why Paul was not allowed to take the Gospel to the region? Or why Satan told Jesus, “that all this has been given to me.”?. I’ve been down in the Jordan Valley and looked up to what is thought to be the Mount of Temptation. From there you can only view eastward. In my way of thinking the 10 X40 window has come the closest thing to being “the gates of hell”. Praise God, we are now seeing big cracks in the wall and the Gospel is getting in – Allah’s greatest fear is about to come on him. Just something to think about.

  24. Joel, since antichrist is destroyed in Revelation 19 and thrown into the lake of fire, who is GOG of Revelation 20:8, who shows up against Jerusalem AFTER the millenial kingdom? This can’t be the antichrist since he’s in the lake of fire. Is this a reference to an antichrist spirit?

  25. In Rev. 20, Gog is essentially a term applied to Satan’s final human puppet. More of an expression than necessarily referring to the same human.
