We believe it is important now to make it clear, privately and publicly, that Prime Minister Erdoğan’s autocratic actions and demagoguery are subverting Turkey’s political institutions and values and endangering the U.S.-Turkey relationship.”
Obama is Doing The Exact Same Thing In The US. (Executive Orders, Obamacare, Gay Rights) There Is No Way He Will Disagree With Ergodan Regarding His leadership. He may be be politically correct and say he doesnt condone violence, just as in the Ukraine.
Dave – I love your word “Magoguery”. Precise, prophetic, powerful.

The Turkish people are in the streets again today. These latest protests appear to be larger and more popular that Taksim last year. We’ll see what Erdogan does. We may very likely see the rise of a new leader in Turkey this year.
Thanks Gabe. I posted this article. Wish I was there.

Ha, sorry about that. I didn’t recognize the pseudonym. I’m somewhat (but not very) surprised that this is getting 0 mainstream attention right now, as far as I can tell. I guess that may change if Erdogan brings out the water canons and tear gas again. Wish I could be there with you!!

And Russia and Turkey have quite a history of wars over territorial expansion.

If Gog is Russia, that’s interesting, considering it’s natural, historical acrimony towards Tubal, Meshech and Beth Torgamah.
