The image above is from the Cave Church at Mokattam Mountain in Cairo, Egypt. On my recent trip to Cairo, I was blessed to participate in an all night prayer meeting there on Pentecost. There were other opportunities for some sweet times of worship with the believers in Cairo as well. One of the worship leaders there is a young man, and a friend named Fady Gergis. We were in this cave church in 2005, although we actually attended a worship service in the larger open-air cave church next door. It was an enlightening thing to see people who have so little feel that they have so much, because they have all that really matters in Christ. Thanks for the reminder.
