A New Muslim Vision: Rebuilding Solomon’s Temple Together

Temple Model

This article, written by Sinem Tezyapar, a student of Adnan Oktar, I think many will find quite fascinating.

The unique importance of the Temple Mount to Judaism and to Islam makes the location vulnerable to tensions and conflicts between Jews and Muslims. Usually, these incidents originate in rumors such as: “The Jews are coming today to bomb the mosques and build their Third Temple.” Obviously, false accusations and baseless suspicions like these turn the site from a holy place of prayer and love into a site of violent political demonstrations. And, consequently, potential escalation of tension brings more restrictions and discomfort to all. Who benefits from this? Surely not the believers.

  1. This is a great article. I remember you talking about Adnan wanting this and now another Muslim man wanting this. Another major sign as The Antichrist must enter a rebuilt Temple. You know I have heard many teachers say that the Dome of the Rock would have to be blown up or removed in order for this to happen. I don’t it would. It will be interesting to see how this progresses.

  2. Joel,
That article remindes me of a quote by Mark Twain: “History doesn’t repeat but it does rhyme.

Ezra 4:1-2 Now when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the children of the captivity builded the temple unto YHWH God of Israel; 2 Then they came to Zerubbabel, and to the chief of the fathers, and said unto them, Let us build with you: for we seek your God, as ye do; and we do sacrifice unto him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assur, which brought us up hither.

It’s worth reading the rest of Ezra 4-6 to see how it all turned out. The effort was not blessed until YHWH gave the “commandment to restore and to build” mentioned in Ezra 6:14.

  3. Oh, how I long for the temple to be rebuilt, and for the Lord to return and reign there!! This article is good, but it is like smelling a steak and not being able to eat it. So close, so close. How much farther Lord? How much longer? Please come quickly!!

  4. My husband and I were talking about this question we have last week……why is the Middle East where Jesus and His apostles started the church predominantly Muslim now? What happened?
    Denese

  5. Denese,

What happened is that Islam spread rapidly by the sword. In a matter of a few decades the Jewish and Christian populations of the Middle East and North Africa were subjugated and in many cases slaughtered. By the mid-700’s Muslims had even taken Spain and were halfway up into France before their forward momentum was stopped. Spain remained at least partially Muslim until 1492.

  6. And all this while Rick Warren encourages and teaches his followers that ANY spiritual pathway is an avenue to the Kingdom of God while at the same time leading the “purpose driven church” into believing that prophecy is a “distraction.” I suppose we’ll see Rick at the dedication ceremony for the third temple celebrating “peace.” If only he had let prophecy “distract” him a little! And then there’s Brian McClaren, Rob Bell and their ilk! Brian really isn’t a good “Emergent” until he actually makes it official and goes on the Haj. I mean, why shouldn’t he? He celebrates Ramadan and calls himself “evangelical” even if there is a “post” in front of it. But that’s what these folks have for brains, a wooden post. The third Temple will after all represent the realized pagan mystical perfection their eschatology and philosophy crave, from which God surely won’t judge the nations…Uh, yeah keep holding onto that one Brian! Read your Bible and give up deconstructionism! Surely when it’s built, it must be the nirvana they’ve been waiting for! I can see Brian and Rob now walking their Hindu labyrinths right there in the courtyard denying the existence of hell while they cheer on “peace” and get their pictures with their new Muslim “brothers.” Then there’s my favorite, the word/faith/pre-trib rapture folks who “have the entire kingdom now” because “God said I AM, and therefore, I AM too.” No Mr. Copeland, that’s not exactly what God had in mind sir! God help us with this group. Half of these folks will be making their last minute declarations for unlimited wealth and making their last trips to the Cadillac dealers to “claim” their new ride, after all, God’s children only escape tribulation in the best, right? The other half of them will probably be packed up and ready to go at moments notice as if the thief were coming for them…uh, no…hope not. That’s what signs are for folks. All this time they weren’t worried about suffering so they’ll be stunned when the Mahdi of Islam, the Biblical Antichrist sits down in the temple as if he were God. But don’t worry pre-tribers I’m sure this site and a few last minute books will be available and a whole lot of people with some directions since you were lured into believing that prosperity is the overwhelming theme in Scriptures for the Church rather than suffering. Thank God for His grace that creates that eventual escape ahead of the Day of the Lord. Then there are our historically and eschatologically challenged brothers the preterists and the higher critical liberals. What can I say about this group other than for some it already happened and for others it’s not really all that much of a focus or concern. I mean, I spent closer to a decade around these kind of clergy and they have no idea at all what to believe. Somebody get these mainline churches the books on this site, PLEASE! I’ve passed out so many already. So with all these groups they’re either not paying attention because it’s past, its not going to happen to them, It’s just a distraction or anything that happens is cool…after all…”God is still speaking…” Pass the sick bag please. Yes he’s still speaking but he needs listeners who haven’t spent all night in the basement with a lava lamp and a chrislamic agenda to help them focus on their inner pagan. Clearly while there are faithful congregations out there, there are many many who are going to go for this garbage as soon as its presented or deny that it is what it is! So many Trojan Horses, and so little time! Let us all raise a standard or go down trying!

  7. Hi Joel.
I have a question. How do you see the timeline of what is explained in Ezekiel 38.18-23? Antichrist and his armies shall surely go to war against Israel and overcome them, but Ezekiel explains here that the Lord would stop Gog the same day he comes across Israel.
How do you see this ?
I could not see anything about this in your book 🙂
Excuse me if I overlooked this !

    Blessings from Norway
    David

  8. Hi David,

This is what will happen IN THAT DAY: When Gog attacks the land of Israel, my hot anger will be aroused, declares the Sovereign LORD. —Ez 38:18

The phrase “in that day” does not infer that all of the things which follow will all take place in a single day. The phrase “in that day” is used throughout this oracle to indicate a general time frame. More specifically, it is pointing to the Day of the Lord. This becomes clear when you study the repeated use of the word day throughout the two chapters.

Consider the other examples within the same oracle:

“ ’This is what the Sovereign LORD says: ON THAT DAY thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme. You will say, “I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars. —Ez 38:10-11

Here, The DAY the thoughts are placed in Gog’s mind to make the attack is also the same day. If such were the case, we would have the implantation of the idea, the actual plan, the actual attack and the destruction of these armies all taking place on the same single day. OF course, such would be entirely impossible. From the time that the idea is placed in Gog’s mind until the armies are destroyed, it is a much broader period.

Later in Chapter 39, the same day, Gog is even buried:

“ ’ON THAT DAY I will give Gog a burial place in Israel, in the valley of those who travel east of the Sea. It will block the way of travelers, because Gog and all his hordes will be buried there. So it will be called the Valley of Hamon Gog. – Ez 39:11

Yet we are told that it takes 7 months to bury the dead in the very next verse:

“ ’For seven months the Israelites will be burying them in order to cleanse the land. —Ez 39:12

So again, we must understand the phrase “in that day” to simply be an expression no different than its common use today. One might say for example, “back in my day, we used to walk to school barefoot through the snow ten miles to get to school”. (Or at least we have such a common claim among our grandparents here in the States). But though the word for day is singular, it is referring to a broader period.

    Blessings!

  9. Thanks Joel !
That makes sense and you saved my day !
I’m learning slowly but surely 🙂

  10. Joel, has the prophecy of the Elder Paisos come to mind regarding Cyprus?

For I see the Kremlin ordering the Russian Navy to safeguard Cyprus, in the Cypriot efforts to develop its off shore natural gas deposits, and Erdogan would not see this in a positive light.

Call it a stepping stone to the Return of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

  11. Joel, someone (Jeremiah, I think) mentioned above something about what the pre-tribbers think and the preterists?
Would you please go over the main theories and the differences and what you believe to be correct?
    Thanks

  12. I recently read on WND, as well as a few other places, that the Jewish temples were actually located at Gihon spring near the temple mount and today’s temple mount was actually Roman. What are your thoughts Joel? Would this answer how the 3rd temple could be built w/o conflict with the Muslims over the temple mount?
