Throughout my book, Antichrist: Islam’s Awaited Messiah, I carefully document from numerous classical and modern Islamic Apocalyptic texts, the Muslim belief regarding the end-times. One of the highlights of the book is an introduction to, and an overview of the Islamic Messianic character known as Imam Al-Mahdi. Following are some various quotes from Islamic sources which should help the unitiated begin to understand just who Al-Mahdi is and how he is viewed by a majority of Muslims…
A figure more legendary than that of the Mahdi, the Awaited Saviour, has not been seen in the history of mankind. The threads of the world events have woven many a fine design in human life but the pattern of the Mahdi stands high above every other pattern. He has been the vision of the visionaries in history. He has been the dream of all the dreamers of the world. For the ultimate salvation of mankind he is the Pole Star of hope on which the gaze of humanity is fixedƉn this quest for the truth about the Mahdi there is no distinction of any caste, creed, or country. The quest is universal, exactly in the same way as the Mahdi himself is universal. He stands resplendent high above the narrow walls in which humanity is cut up and divided. He belongs to everybody. For all that and much more, what exactly is the Mahdi? Surely that is the big question which the thinking people all over the world would like to ask.

Thus, just a taste of who Imam Al-Mahid is according the prophetic traditions of Islam. While there is much more to be quoted and much more to be said, for now, I leave you with these quotes to chew on. For those who have read and studied the Bible, you may already see the parallels between Al-Mahdi and the biblical figure known as the Antichrist. When one looks at the Islamic prophecies and traditions regarding Imam Al-Mahid, one is faced with the obvious questions: Has Satan, through the “prophet” Muhammad, initiated a religion as a response to the true religion of Christ? Has Satan been intimately involved in the inspiration and developement of Islam from its inception? And now for the shameless plug: Buy the book and find out. Antichrist: Islam’s Awaited Messiah.
