Turkish Newspaper Close To President Erdogan Calls To Form Joint Islamic Army To Fight Israel

On December 12, 2017, ahead of the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul,  the Turkish daily Yeni Şafak, which is close to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his ruling AKP party, published an article  titled “A Call for Urgent Action,”[1] which also appeared on the paper’s website under the title “What If an Army of Islam Was Formed against Israel?”[2] The article called on the 57 member states of the OIC to form a joint “Army of Islam” to besiege and attack the state of Israel. It notes that such a joint army will greatly exceed the Israeli army in manpower, equipment and budget, and presents statistics to prove this. It also advocates establishing joint bases for the army’s ground, air and naval forces that will arrive from all over the Muslim world to besiege Israel, while noting that Pakistan, as the only nuclear country, has “a special status” among the OIC countries. An interactive map provides information on military forces stationed in various locations and the role they can play in the potential joint Muslim attack on Israel.

The map of the surrounding nations looks eerily similar to what is described in Ezekiel 38, 39 among other passages. On a separate but similar note, what did you think of the 60 minutes interview with the Saudi Crown Prince?

I think that is one reason Saudi Arabia will be conquered by either Iran &/or Turkey, before the Islamic Coalition becomes more united under the Turkish Leadership, headed by no other but the AntiChrist.

It’s playing out right before our eyes. This could be one of the greatest tools of evangelism we have ever had. Show people the prophesies, written over 2500 years ago, and then show them these news reports. Then show them that Christ is coming back real soon. To simply crave this knowledge and insIght without using it to spread the gospel is vain. Joel is both reaching the lost and strengthening the church. May we all be so bold and passionate.
    Love in Christ,

Joel, if you are still entertaining questions I do have one. I have read most of your books and commentaries. And my spirit bears witness to your insights. I believe you have mentioned that Israel will do once again be scattered. Jesus mentioned it when he warned to flee when they see Jerusalem surrounded. However, in Ezekiel 38 and 39 I don’t see where Israel is scattered. In fact, in 39 Gogs armies are destroyed against the mountains of Israel. Can you point me to your commentary again where you explain this?
    God bless,

To answer your question, consider this first: In Isaiah 9, after Jesus is born (Unto us a son is given) where does it describe Him being crucified, dying, being buried, coming back to life, ascending to heaven, etc.?

Here is an article I did on this topic specifically:

    I hope it is helpful

Conspicuosly missing from the green map, from the pretrib perspective, is any part of Russia. As I see it, if the OIC plan to invade Israel fulfills Zech. 12/14, then Ezek. 38/39 must happen towards the end of the 70th week.

Joel, I am close to finishing your book Mystery Babylon. I think you have nailed it. I have for years believed the Anti-Christ is going to be Muslim., but never thought of Mystery Babylon as Mecca, but it makes sense. Especially after comparing it to the prophecies in the Word of God. I in fact find myself agreeing with the vast majority of your views. Keep it up brother!

    Dear Joel,
I once went to a conference in St Louis and heard you speak … I have your books and occasionally listen to the u tube uploads . Recently I watched a teaching you gave where you spoke about “the procession of Jesus” in His return … in my studies yesterday I found scripture in NKJV Psalm 68:24 which actually uses this terminology. The Holy Spirit has been highlighting several scriptures related to the “bulls of Bashan” and Bashan itself. In your studies have you discovered that the ancient area of Bashan is now called “Golan Heights?”

I also read in Daniel 11:45 a verse about ‘his’ palace between the seas … would the white palace be considered between the Black; Caspain and Mediterranean seas? We are called to be sober and watch … it is a time where the sleeping church needs to wake up… the very next verse, starting n chapter 12, speaks about what is to follow..

I am praying for FAI as our LORD has seen their heart and is using them in His service. He always hears the the cries of the poor and oppressed … my prayers for the innocent in the line of fire is for their protection but most of all that they will have opened ears to the truth found only in Jesus. You speak about your love for Muslims …. His Spirit one time showed me we are not to fear them but to witness to them …. Our GOD is love …. the essence of true undefiled love … His love is for the world …. for sinners across the globe …. for me who was one of the worst. His grace is amazing.

I am not an end time prophecy ‘want to be’ …. yet it seems in the midst of today’s violence and evil of all sorts Jesus is in the process of placing His church in wilderness places to call them to Himself … separating more and more from the world and the comfort zones we have grown accustomed to …. in preparation for what is to come. Some will die in this wilderness place but the remnant will not falter because our hope and faith is being forged to look to Christ alone and in this furnace to become more and more like Him in our witness..

Sorry I took up so much space … I have a heavy heart and my hearts cry has become ‘Come LORD Jesus’ … even in this I know there are coming worse times ahead in this country of ours that has rejected GOD … we will not be spared judgement and are already seeing its beginnings. If you haven’t yet please take a few minutes to listen to John Mulinde’s message to America given in 2004. It is only 30-45 minutes long … the LORD led me to discover this in 2009.

Thank you so much for your time …. I will look for your thoughts on the two questions.

Have you analyzed Dr. John C. Whitcomb’s view (Daniel EBC) that Gog could be identified with the King of the North in Daniel 11:40-45? I know that Dr. Whitcomb chaired a doctoral student who did his dissertation on the Eschatological Assyrian in Isaiah at Grace Theological Seminary, which I think deals with this topic. Anyway, Whitcomb speculates that the King of the North (or Gog) is the one who gives the Beast in Revelation (or the Willful King of Daniel 11) his “deadly wound.” He thinks that the rumors (Daniel 11:44) that causes this King of the North to come out of Egypt back to Israel is that this one he just overwhelmed like a storm, has come back to life. The view understands that there are three characters: Willful King (Antichrist), King of the North (Gog) and King of the South (Egypt). It appears to me that the King of the North in Daniel 11 is more Syria/Damascus than Magog. Since Antiochus Epiphanes IV of Syria could cause the prophecy to leap into end times with Antichrist (Daniel 11:35-ff), perhaps this King of the North could leap into Gog as the one who gives him his fatal wound.
